I'd honestly take this over any of the stuff out now.

I been having my Blackberry curve for a year now. I want an IPhone, but I'm not willing to leave Verizon for AT&T. Maybe when Apple gets their heads out of their ass and features the IPhone on different carriers.

I would like a Blackberry Storm, but I to want wait a couple generations for them to get all the kinks out.

I am using a Koodoo Motorola Krzr. I hate it. With Koodoo they cancel basically all of the "personalised" features like ringtones etc. and I don't like how the phone texts or the way the keypad is. As soon as I get decently close to paying off the phone I'll get one I like more, but I still got a while left.

8 megapixals on a cellphone camera? Holy Jesus.

I don't believe it is though, the quality seems a bit shitty at times.

It's probably a shit(tier) sensor "forcing" 8mp onto it.

I got one of these the other day:

I'm still getting used to the keypad.

I have an LG Rumor which is the last cell phone I will own before finally upgrading to a smart phone. My carrier is Sprint which I actually really like. I have been with them since the beginning, and even though I have heard horror stories through the years, my service has been excellent and I have never really been jerked around at all. Not to mention my wife's work gets a 23% discount w/Sprint so that allows us to get unlimited everything at a very decent price. Maybe I am lucky, but until something bad happens I have no plans to ever change carriers.....which leads me to believe I will be the owner of the Palm Pre instead of the Iphone.

The Palm Pre looks cool and has all the features I would want, and now that it is out I am pretty excited to see what v.2 will bring to the table because ususally the v.2 is one of the biggest upgrades you'll see.

I have the LG enV on Verizon. Service has been adequate, phone has been a little frustrating. A few months after I first got it, I started noticing it would turn itself off for no reason. A couple weeks ago, this happened in the middle of a phone call.

I dodged a bullet back in February when I dropped it into a bowl filled with water in the sink. The QWERTY keyboard was nuked, but it came back a few days later. Lately, though, I'm having problems with it again, and it's starting to turn off more frequently. I'm just trying to hold out until I can upgrade in early October.

Anybody have/heard anything about the enV Touch? I was watching some video reviews, and they seemed pretty positive.

I use a Sony Ericsson W960i. 8GB built in memory, 3.2MP camera, Walkman, touchscreen, etc. I've lost both my touch styluses by playing with them in my pocket while walking around.

Looks pretty but it's a piece of shit. The web browser constantly freezes and I always have to hit the number pad to keep browsing. Hopefully i'll be upgrading soon. I don't want the Keybo though which seems to be the trend around here.

Pretty much right after I praised my AT&T tilt it broke. Well, half broke. Phone and screen worked fine, but the keyboard and front buttons all stopped working except the arrow keys on both. And for some reason it started bringing up the push to talk menu all the time. Thankfully, and much to my surprise, despite having bought it on Ebay when I called the service center I discovered that it was still under warranty for another 2 weeks. Also of surprise to me the problem must have been covered by the warranty because they e-mailed me to let me know it was fixed and on it's way back, so huzzah for a little luck. I'm jonesing for my 3g fix.

Got a Motorola Q, first cell that I've used more heavily for internet/email usage than any previous ones, that is for sure. Took me awhile to get used to the full keypad functioning though, but I like it alot. Camera is ok, it's a 3.2. Only thing that irritates me is that people can't send me pictures directly unless their cells can send directly to my email instead (which I can then open that way, but then again I can just go to my computer to do that same thing too). I do like the Windows Mobile software it uses though, and the ability to add apps (facebook, weather conditions, news, etc), its starting to get me used to what to expect when I inevitably get an iPhone in due time. Being able to check my three email accounts for work and personal right as the email comes in is really nice.

Speaking of mobiles, is there a mobile friendly version of this board available? When I log on here off my Moto Q, I still have to scroll through everyone's sigs and pictures and everything and it takes forever to load because of that. Wouldn't mind a text only simple version for mobile use if possible.

Samsung M520. Pretty spiffy and nothing major's happened with it yet. I can play music AND go on the internet without it freezing or anything. Getting phone calls/texts while multitasking doesn't fuck it up either. The only drawback is a 160 character limit on text messages. I get 1,000 for picture mail, but not texts. What's up with that? Oh, and I get TV and radio! I went with Sprint to get all the NFL perks, and they're awesome year-round since I can watch the NFL Network all the time.

Samsung M510. This was my old phone. Same color and everything. I loved it and its conversation-starting ability, and then it fell into a toilet.

It's time for my upgrade, and I'm considering a BlackBerry Curve 8330. It seems like a good smartphone for the price. Anyone have an opinion on it?

What browser do you use on the Q? There actually is a very mobile friendly version of the board, but I don't know the direct link to it, it just is always the version that comes up with mobile browsers designed for mobile sites. You said your phone has Windows Mobile right? Try using the version of internet explorer that has to bring up the site, that always brings up the mobile version for me.

It's a pretty solid phone. It's not as fast as some of the more recent devices, but its pretty good for some light web browsing, and text and emailing.

Over 3 years old and I have no intention of upgrading anytime soon. In fact, the only reason I got this phone is that I accidentally destroyed my last one (which I had had for 4 years at that point) in a bitch fit in the middle of my last 'real' round of disc golf. After my third consecutive drive into the woods, I picked up my discs bag and slammed it three times very hard into the ground. (This was after I had already destroyed my sunglasses on the second crappy drive.) As I was walking towards the blast zone, I saw my phone laying on the ground. I had left my phone in my bag and it was almost certainly ruined. At that point, I simply said "I'm done", gathered my things and left without another word. I've played a grand total of 2 rounds since then (both were during bachelor parties) and I don't regret it a bit. My friends still reference that episode years later since I'm generally a pretty chill guy - almost to a fault.

As for the phone itself, it's got a crappy camera + Mp3 player (which I've never used), only can play MIDI ringtones and doesn't have any of the newer bells and whistles. I love it. The menus are bright, easy to read and have logical navigation and the sound quality of the phone itself is good enough. It's a bit difficult to text using the regular number pad but I don't text that often so it's no big deal to me.

I kept my first cell phone for 5 years, so I'm hoping to match that or break that record on this one.
