The Sopranos: Rewatch

COLD CUTS

- Johnny Sack's little power play regarding these Vespas was a slick move. Obviously he doesn't believe Tony's story regarding Tony B and is trying to root out the truth as well as get in a dig.

- Janice as a soccer mom was amusing. Especially in that her confrontation turned into a fight. Typical Janice. Lol at the news report saying Janice has ties to the Mafia. I like how the psychologist on TV perfectly explained what Tony was about to do when he went over to Janice and Bobby's house. TOTAL RAGE MODE. Then damn Sophia with words that cut deep in saying "are you going to punch me" to Janice.

- The storyline this episode is excellent. The code talking was amusing. Canned peaches and whatnot. Don't want anyone to open that can of fruit! Chris also lets us know that when Tony and Tony B get together they love to give him a hard time.

- Oh shit the look on Tony's face when he discovers that the pool is empty. I'm the kind of guy who doesn't believe in pool draining, I'd rather trip and fall into a pool of water than an empty cavern.

- Janice's racist rant in the anger management class was unreal. The bald dude who said "this is fuckin' priceless" took the words out of my mouth.

- Something Chris said about Tony B putting his feet up in his Hummer really bothered me. People care more about stuff than their family being comfortable. Guys are just too worried about scuffs and whatever, times are better when you have less money and nobody cares about shit like that. The older you get the more frustrating life gets even when it's just little stuff. These two talking shit about Tony while digging for these bodies cracked me up. And we find out that this body is that of the guy Chris killed in the pilot and subsequently moved out of the swamp with Georgie. And into the lake he goes, never to be moved again.

- Oh NO Wegler's back. Obviously this season takes place over a lot of time because now AJ's a senior when he was not the first time Carmela slept with Wegler. And I DETEST the freeze cut after Carmela says that she was "going back with her husband." First, can't believe she said that, and second, WTF IS THIS AN 80'S SOAP OPERA GET THAT SHIT OFF MY SCREEN.

- Again with illustrating how long in time this season is, Chris says that he's been clean and sober for 14 months. OR he's lying about it, cause that incident where he got wasted and beat Adriana was just 5 or 6 episodes previous to this. But who knows right?

- WTF Janice apologizing to Tony. So she seems to have gotten over her anger. Back to that shortly.

- Tony shows up at the farm and as soon he gets there the whole mood changes. Everyone tenses up, then after their body dump things turn into a bagging session. Funny how Tony B reused his jokes about Tony on other people, but then immediately, Tony and Tony B have a laugh at Christopher's expense. Tony telling Chris to have a drink and ranting at him was just sad, like honestly, I can feel myself turning against Tony right now. None of that stuff was funny at all, it was cruel and mean spirited, just wasn't for me.

- Ew at the fly hanging around the plate of eggs. Gross. Once again with the piling on Chris, so he bails out and I would have too. Man that shit wasn't right. Then back at the Bing Tony throws a shot glass at Georgie and beats his face in, which doesn't have that slightly amusing slant to it that the other beatdowns of Georgie do. Plus he has hearing damage this time and quits the Bing. Aw.

- Tony digs into Janice relentlessly here. Talking about her lost son Harpo, and that is bound to get a rise out of anyone. "I wonder what's French-Canadian for I grew up without a mother" and then I LOVE when Janice charges at him with a fork and chases him around the dining room.

The Sopranos - Chris, Tony & Tony B scene

The Sopranos; Tony testing Janice's anger-control abilities

Another good episode in the midst of many, but what sucks is that Tony is exposed as such a detestable human being and the facade has been completely broken. He is like a virus, corrupting everything he latches onto, his lack of joy (except in instances of bringing misery to others) dragging everyone down with him.

THE TEST DREAM

- Egg Beaters are gross. That being said, I wouldn't wish anyone having their shit burned up upon them for making them. You gotta pay attention when you're cooking not argue AND GOTDAMN SHE'S LIT ON FUCKING FIRE LIKE JIM ROSS IF THAT WAS REAL IT WOULD HAVE BEEN THE CRAZIEST SHIT I'VE EVER SEEN.

- The way Tony B has been paid in installments by Little Carmine for the Joey Peeps hit is pretty disgusting. You'd think that someone would actually get their pay for a game-changing hit.

- OHHH and there's a game changing hit, Phil and Billy Leotardo just gave it to Angelo. Angelo says he'll follow them over and BAM shot in the head after being put in Phil's trunk. Damn Phil gave it to this guy hardcore ruthless style.

- Tony bitching to Tony B while he's cleaning up his house was funny. So was Tony saying he's been thinking about Charmaine Bucco. I can't believe he actually had the nuts to call her but then we find out it's not the first time he had called Charmaine all secretly and shit which was a neat reveal.

- Tony giving the hotel people a fake name was swag, I wish regular folk like me could get away with pulling that off. LOL at Tony calling an Asian escort service. Of course, once he finally thinks he's gonna get some peace and quiet, Silvio calls and tells him about the Angelo killing. Ain't that just great. Of course Tony dials Tony B, who does not answer. Went on to dial up everyone, but it didn't matter, nobody heard from Tony B.

- From this point, there's a bit of a time gap and we don't know exactly what happened before Tony fell asleep. Dream time. WHOA at Tony waking up to Carmine Lupertazzi in bed with him that's about the strangest shit. Tony then goes to Melfi's and BIGGER WHOA it's not Melfi, but Gloria speaking in and out with Melfi's voice. Nice touch here, Tony being driven to a job by his dad, and Pussy in the front seat. Mikey Palmice in the seat next to him. Too weird is what this shit is. NOW IT'S RALPH.

- First time I watched this I thought it was legit when he walked into Carmela's house to meet Finn's parents. That the dream was over. But nope. WHOA THE FUCK at Tony and Carmela on TV that was just too weird and so is the stuff with all Tony's teeth falling out during a meeting with Finn, Vin Makazian and ANNETTE BENING WHAT THE FUCK. This watching Home Alone last week made me remember Vin IS THE DAD FROM HOME ALONE WTF. The singing part was very weird, but the part with The Godfather style toilets in the restroom checking for a gun was very cool.

- In hindsight it was awesome to see Tony B gun down Phil Leotardo. The way this scene was set up with Gloria as a reporter, Phil awkwardly falling to the ground, the guys saying Tony should have stopped this, the whole cast of the show in the mob of people as Tony starts running, is perhaps my favorite non-violent (it's not real so the violence doesn't count) scene in the whole series. Artie as a lone guiding agent throughout this is unbelievable, as is RICHIE APRILE in the backseat of his car after the chase scene.

- WHAT THE FUCK at the cuckolding thing with Artie, Tony, and Charmaine. Then we go straight to something amusing with Tony on his horse, obviously being symbolism for his whores, and well you know he wants to come home but Carmela doesn't want to deal with that shit anymore, goes without saying.

- Wow at the Coach Molinaro guy being Horseface from The Wire. These world clashes creep me out. Their argument is enlightening. YOU'RE NOT PREPARED. And finally Tony wakes up. I'm not gonna go over with what we got out of that, because everyone else writes about stuff like that which is not my thing.

- Chris tells Tony that Tony B has taken out Billy Leotardo. Oh geez here we fuckin' go. This whole thing with Phil was point of no return stuff that every viewer had to know would extend until the end of the show. Easy to say in hindsight, but to me it was obvious this was not going away in the last two episodes of Season 5.

- Carmela and Tony's small talk set us in a of course they're getting back together direction. And now we're done.

The Sopranos-Tony B whacks Phil Leotardo(in tony's dream)

Picked out the best bits, I didn't want to post the whole episode. But it really is that good and I'm realizing that I held an unfair view of Season 5 in thinking that it wasn't as good as the rest. YES IT IS AS GOOD AS THE REST, but in a different way. The overarching themes lacked a bit at the beginning, but each episode is extremely entertaining in this format and there are plenty of meaningful, hard-hitting moments.

I'm glad I didn't intend to post a list of top ten best episodes because that's impossible unless you post a list wherein you rank all of them from the beginning. And really, no way I want to take that on. Too much good here.

LONG TERM PARKING

- Oh no the feds have come up with some dirt out of the blue on Adriana. This whole episode and what happens in it was so unexpected and not something built towards this season. Just bits dropped in here and there.

- Funny to see Tony bring up his dream with Carmela and subsequently compare his indiscretions to Carmela's as if they are equal in any way. Nope.

- Phil Leotardo is sitting here all depressed and we flash back to Tony B clipping his brother. Everyone can see how driven he will be by this. As an aside, my parents and most other older folk had to be weirded out by Frankie Valli in this consiglieri to Little Carmine role.

- Since the Tony's made fun of him Chris has gone back to drinking. What a downer. And being a dickhead too.

- To the sitdown with Phil and Johnny, of course Phil is extremely fucking pissed off. This is so tense, basically if Tony B isn't delivered to New York shit's gonna hit the fan. The usual and all that lark. LOL at these kids discovering someone's body in the ocean, little does anyone realize this is directly linked to Adriana.

- Tony has the most perplexed look on his face during this dinner conversation with Carmela wherein the spec house comes up. Then Chris shows up and Tony has an argument with him about their cigarette running deal. Once again Chris gets disrespected and he's fuckin' over it, drunk and upset.

- The interludes of the FBI doing an investigation regarding Crazy Horse makes it real obvious some bad shit is about to happen.

- Tony breaking it off with Valentina was such bad timing and so poorly handled, but really that cannot be controlled. He was gonna do it anyway, regardless of whether or not she was burned. However, unlike Gloria, he doesn't seem to feel too bad over it.

- And well, boom goes the dynamite. Feds pick Adriana up while leaving some storefront at a strip mall and it begins.

- First, we see Tony dropping his bags on the floor in a dark house. Was a strange camera shot. Gotta pour out the bubbly and have a little celebration too. LOL at AJ downing his.

- Back to the FBI office and Adriana is most definitely fucked. Disposing evidence of a murder ain't a good idea. Now, for the second time in this episode we get a flashback. Adriana's naivety is on full display. Allowed Matush into her office which was stupid, then some guy walks in there, pulls a knife on Matush, subsequently gets cracked over the head and killed. This stabbing scene is mad raw too. Anyway, that one fuckin' bloody rag for the cleanup got her spotted and screwed over. LOL she said Matush is real religious and prays all the time, sends lots of money to his brother back in Pakistan who runs a prep school for young boys. HA! Head FBI guy is putting the squeeze on Adriana and telling her IT'S TIME TO COME UP WITH SOME REAL SHIT. REAL EVIDENCE.

- We cut back to Chris and he's hitting the bottle pretty rough. Adriana on the other hand is on the john and is beginning to realize just how fucked she is.

- Looking at Tony's memory and seeing the flashbacks to when he and Tony B were younger was very sad. Of course, Johnny Sack is now a boss, and uh, yeah. Ray Curto is just sitting there, sucking in all this information so he can relay it to his FBI contact later.

- There's a major flaw in this episode, I have a hard time believing that the Feds would let Adriana walk out and try to bring a violent criminal to their office in order to flip him. Maybe that's how it really works and maybe it's not not, but that seems like an extremely stupid practice to me. Like there has to be some other way. But whoa shit when she tells Chris what happened with Danielle, this scene is perfectly acted out. Chris is going through a range of motions while processing this and then loses his shit and goes all Ike Turner on her. I really thought he was going to kill her right there. Hard to watch and quite unfuckingbelievable scene.

- Tony finally admits to Tony B that his story about the black guys attacking him was a total lie. But it seemed to be an admission made out of anger rather than true guilt.

- Adriana selling Chris on this idea of witness protection is tragic. It's tough to explain exactly how I feel about this. Chris seeing the white trash family at the gas station was a bit too much of a trope, not needed and too obvious. In the end it, just like everything else comes down to people not wanting to live like that, and being willing to do what it takes not to. The key for regular folk is finding limits, but in this show, it illustrates how sociopaths have no limits. None of these people do. Anyhow, they get out to the Pine Barrens and Adriana knows exactly's what's gonna happen. I think it's portrayed as her knowing the entire time. The actual murder scene wasn't as bad as I remembered, yet still tough to watch. Chris goes and throws her luggage in the swamp, parks her car in long term parking and that's that. Sad.

- Johnny grew a pretty big set after getting the big seat, saying it's undignified for he and Tony to meet in this fashion. What a douche. Tony telling Johnny that he knew where Tony B was holed up was more than a bit of a mistake. At that point it presented an opportunity for Johnny to shit all over him. Tony went the opposite route and told Johnny to go fuck himself. Which, wouldn't you? It's family!

- Kinda wrong when Tony beats up Chris like this, but at this point it's impossible to feel bad for any of them.

- I'm shocked that Sanseverino really thought that Adriana may have fled. Denial, etc.

- Spec house, blah blah blah, and Tony seems to be extremely depressed at this moment.

I'm not really comfortable with searching for videos. That was a pretty drag you down hour of television, a Six Feet Under special. Much like that show I will try never to watch this episode again.

P. sure Silvio didn't take her to the Pine Barrens. I think it was just a regular wooded area. Tony said Chris was up near Ramapo, which is North Jersey, so I'm assuming Sil & Adriana were headed north, while the Pine Barrens are in South Jersey.

ALL DUE RESPECT

- Phil is an asshole and all but when he takes a look at his brother, you know he has a reason never to stop being a massive dickhead. Justified too.

- Lol at Blundetto's hideout that's some truly sad shit. This is fucked up though Phil going to Christopher's mom's house. What he's trying to pull is a really awful idea, but Chris never should have let this drop and killed the bastard.

- Sal Vitro doing free lawn shit is always completely hilarious.

- And now we get Chris' story that he's about to tell everyone, Adriana left him, moved out and shit. Obviously pretty bummed out but not too bummed to take Ade's shit and sell it.

- So morbid when the guys debate who's gonna get clipped by Phil and Johnny. Like trying to say how much closer to Tony they are than each other. Everyone thinks Tony should give up Tony B, but it was amusing for Tony to play dumb about what happened with Adriana in the subsequent scene. Tony's TV is also pretty small for that of a mob boss. I have a bigger one in my bedroom.

- Chris on the lam is really funny, and after what Tony's done for him what right does he have for him to bitch about Blundetto. None that's what. This Silvio-Tony conversation about Tony B was hilarious, why have a consiglieri if you won't listen to his advice?

- Oh shit Phil is at the Crazy Horse. Benny's there too, and he tries to jet but he ain't fast enough. Too bad he drove forward and not in reverse cause now Phil is beating him half to death with a cane. WOW he's FUCKED UP. Everyone is worried they might be next.

- Junior is badly in the throes of Alzheimer's by this point and cannot help Tony. Pretty sad. Melfi cannot help Tony either, and it pisses her off.

- LOL at AJ trying to be a party planner and shit but it ends in his friend fighting and he backs off like a pussy while laughing.

- Tony is still not wanting to talk to Johnny as we see, but then he goes to Paulie's to have a talk. LOL at Tony spotting that Pie-O-My picture and Paulie's subsequent explanation. Tony is upset with this for the wrong reasons, or rather he shouldn't be at all. But it makes him realize that what he's doing is not the correct leadership decision to make.

- Now we spot Tony B pulling up to the farm, and honestly I never expected Tony to round the corner and blast him. First time through anyway. And so it goes. I think Tony B was a massively underused character and could have been utilized far better, even though in the end the season turned out great. At least Tony's the kind of mob boss to have the balls to do this himself. The shot of Tony B's face was quite morbid. Tony then calls Johnny and tells him where Tony B is, so Phil goes up there all ready for a murder but...he sees that Tony B is dead on the porch.

- Johnny is so angry and doesn't believe what Tony did was any sort of solution. Chris on the other hand is now, maybe, safe. But now they're going to talk about Adriana which is pretty heavy in that Chris is really upset. Chris tells Tony he's never said anything to Adriana about any murders. This wasn't the conversation that I thought it was, to note.

- Tony calling event planning gay cracked me up.

- This scene outside of Johnny Sack's house was so sick. Surprisingly Johnny accepted Tony's explanation that he needs to meet Phil's price to make this all end, but WHOA SHIT HERE COMES THE FEDS UP THE WAY WHO EVER WOULD'VE THOUGHT. Tony running was a great sight, I expected for sure he was set up by Johnny or that the feds were coming for him, BUT IT APPEARS NOT. That's why he looked at Johnny before running. Anyway gun goes straight in the snow, and he's running like he's in Colombia away from FARC. Johnny face planting in the snow and Sal Vitro getting arrested were HILARIOUS. That's a long ass walk back home through the woods though. The symbolism of Tony emerging from the woods just like the bear did at the start of this season was awesome. HE IS THE BEAR. Carmela opening the door with that puzzled voice was a good way to cap the season off.

Tony escapes from the FBI - The Sopranos HD

Really good finale, sucks Tony B had to go but that's the way things turned out. He could have been a much better character.

I think I rank them 4, 3, 5, 2, 1 so far. And that's not even to say Season 1 is bad or some shit, it's amazing. If the show was only these five seasons I'd put it up with anything, and in hindsight, that season 5 of The Wire was on a level of not that good that may push it below this show.

Not sure on the rankings of 4 and 5 but as you said this is a an all timer so the season rankings can be debated forever.

MEMBERS ONLY

- I cracked up at the opening montage. Vito lost weight, JANICE HAS A KID WTF, Bobby loves trains, Eugene is gonna get dough, AJ has long hair, spec house was getting constructed but WTF ADRIANA IS THERE. That obviously couldn't be real, and it wasn't.

- Oh man the Pussy Malanga stuff BEGINS. Apparently Junior had Tony digging in a hole for 40k and couldn't find it. Tony reversing on Green Grove in an attempt to say Junior shouldn't live there was horrible. "Remember what they did to ma" COME ON.

- Eugene laying it onto Tony that he has an inheritance of 2 million was a cool moment. I mean in the sense of the here and now. He tries to get out of the mob, who wouldn't? This stuff with him and his son was so weird for real.

- LOL at Tony and Carmela being sushi fiends now. That's awesome. And obviously their relationship is way different. Who woulda figured?

- Wow at Phil now having beef with Hesh. What the fuck is that about WHOA SHIT THIS ELI DUDE GOT RAN OVER

- Agent Harris telling Tony about terrorism and shit is very funny. Right before that Tony was extolling the virtues of Phil and shit. Obviously a mistake, as he finds out when Hesh gets in contact with him.

- Hugh not building a house correctly was FUCKED UP. Most people would be fuming mad over this.

- LOL at that rat Ray croaking in Sanseverino's car. He was so enthusiastic for this rat shit :(. Christopher's crack about Lou Gehrig's Disease was some dumb ass shit. Kind of a played joke.

- Eugene giving Tony a taste of the inheritance was laughable, but Rusty & Tony talking bad about rats unknowing of Ray's rat past was amusing. Tony surprising Carmela with a car was good. Such a contrast from previous seasons I don't know how to act.

- Melfi's confrontational behavior is always fun to watch and totally necessary. I'm really glad the Eliott scenes with her were cut down upon last season.

- Awesome when Tony and his guys went to the optometrist guy, pulled the left his wallet in his car gag and took a LOAD of his sunglasses. That's how you gotta do it. Amusing when Johnny learned about Phil's feud with Hesh. If I wound up in jail and my daughter was doing a wedding like Johnny's I don't know how a person can take that shit. So that's why you don't get in that kind of trouble. Tony and Phil bury the hatchet over the Hesh thing and something else, so I suppose they get along and who would've expected it.

- DAMN TONY pushing 3 bills with this sushi all the time. Was funny for him to decline an invitation by Carmela to sushi. THAT WAS THEIR THING AND HE RUINED IT BY GOING THERE EARLIER IN THE DAY. Actually no, she wasn't so mad. And now Carmela has patched things up with Angie. Weird stuff going on. Artie with Charmaine too.

- This thing with Eugene and killing a guy in Boston is really messed up. They give him the impression he'll be getting out of that thing of their's. So Eugene ices this fat fuck in some fast food place, which leads to a great shot of some blood like teardrops on his face as he's driving home. Then bloods all over his map. And Silvio tells Eugene that he can't go to Florida. Man that's fucked up. Eugene's wife is giving him bullshit about staying in Jersey too. And oh man his kid is using heroin too. That's gotta be the worst thing to find out in the entire world.

There's a twist too. Apparently this fool HAS BEEN HANGING AROUND WITH THE FEDS. Why did he think they'd let him go down to Florida? This is so fucked up when he hangs himself. There ain't no way to get lucky when you go that route but I was rooting for him to find footing the whole way.

- Junior shooting Tony was the craziest thing in a show that has a LOT of crazy shit. The first time I saw it I was 100% sure Tony was going to die. I mean cause, how the fuck would you know? Six Feet Under was done before this, and with the ending there I figured why not. Especially considering that a LOAD of hints were dropped in this episode about Tony being gotten rid of. Did Junior realize what he did afterward and go hide in the closet for that reason? For all that happened in this show I rooted for Tony to grab the phone and make the call every time.

Wow. Alzheimer's is a motherfucker.

JOIN THE CLUB

- In a lot of ways I don't really like Tony's coma dream, and to be honest that makes this episode a bit hard to watch for me. It isn't one of my favorites, I don't know who's in the same boat about it. This may change through the course of watching.

- I love the way certain things are represented here. Machine measuring Tony's heart rate being the light house, doctor checking him out and his incoming response being reflected by helicopters.

- His white guy accent was GREAT, but sometimes the Tony voice creeps through. One thing also noticeable with him not playing THE Tony Soprano is his weight gain. Yikes. The scenes have been shot in a way that makes him look less imposing, like an average guy who isn't larger than life. Is that something perceived through assumption by the viewer, and not actually true?

- Tony is, if nothing else, still into the strange in coma land. Finally back in the real world he wakes up and it's pretty bad shit, not good for him to pull his tube out. AJ is in absolute denial of the reality of this situation but uh, Vito is being pretty gay here demanding to take home AJ even when it's out of his way. Masuka from Dexter as the doctor is WEIRD casting. This is some really sad shit.

- Back in coma land, Tony is now actively checking into hotels as this Kevin Finnerty guy. Interesting. And so are the monks hanging out in the background. LOL that they're suing him and the one guy slaps him which is awesome. Real Tony would never say "HE HIT ME." He'd also never take the stairs if the elevator was crammed up. Ouch when he fell down them. That represents a er, setback. Fuck that hole in his gut. That's vile shit and when Janice it's no surprise she shit a brick cause IT'S JANICE. Also, this doctor looks like Joe Namath.

- Eugene's funeral was a sad show. We find out Silvio is acting boss, that Vito suspects Bobby of some BS having gone on, and that they can't understand why Eugene bit the bullet. Awesome how Vito self-profiled in projecting upon Eugene and Janice was like lol I probably shouldn't say anything.

- AJ talking to the newslady was a clueless fucking show, the guy needs a brain replacement. Can't remember to get CD's or anything. Was tragic when Carmela was talking to Tony in his current state.

- Harris talking shop with Chris was hilarious to watch, there are some good interludes that can get you laughing through the bad things going on here.

- In Tony's coma dream it would not have been good to rest at the hospital. Instead he had to run, gotta go, gotta fight.

- Vito farting into Tony's couch was gross. And AJ talking about the Prius and shit what is going on with this fucking guy? Screaming out the window at the reporters was dumb, but to be honest they're kinda fuckin' annoying so they can be forgiven. It's great when Paulie shoves the guys back from the driveway, that shit's pretty rude.

- AJ going in to see his dad is rough, and when I think of what I'd be like if my dad was in that condition it's a pretty tough scene to watch. So I am not going to think about that. But he laid flunking out of school on his mom right then and that was not a good idea.

- When Tony was in coma land and decided not to call home that was, well I don't know what that was.

I can't find any specific YouTube videos for this but I do know that it's a great episode and I'm not nearly as negative on it as I was before this experience. I get most of what went on here so no need for me to head into further detail. I did like the next episode quite a lot by the way.

MAYHAM

- This opening segment makes me wonder about a lot of things. Are there wars that the DiMeo crime family goes through without us knowing about it? Cause if not, what the fuck kind of Colombians are these that don't have backup? LOL that Paulie got out of the way by getting kneed in the balls. Amazing how fucked up his balls are I mean LOL HE CAN'T EVEN GET UP.

- Whoa at finding out AJ was trying to buy a gun. Funny for Chris to tell him he should channel his rage by fucking his girlfriend more.

- Tony's meeting with the monks in coma land was so totally strange. And so is Benny being the driver for Silvio now, and Silvio's wife saying she was proud of him making boss is a little weird too in that you know she knows what he had to do to get that spot, and obviously all these wives are totally okay with it.

- Paulie's ball issue is the funniest shit.

- Silvio having to handle all these issues is bad. He knows what to do, but it's kinda awkward and everyone knows these decisions aren't completely final, pending whatever happens with Tony. He tries to get some rest, in the bathroom where nobody else is going to walk in and all that, but it turns out that Vito does walk in and so does Paulie. LOL at Vito thinking he was gonna get half of Paulie's job. Paulie calls it MAYHAM and says he needs ultrasound on his balls gum nearly flew out of my mouth. "I gotta piss first, you want half of that too" OHHHHHHHH

- LOL at Benny walking into the writers meeting and hitting JT over the head, on behalf of Chris who wants JT to write a script for him. Degenerate gambler man. Oh man the idea about the boss porking his fiancee for Cleaver is an absolutely horrible one.

- Vito and Phil talking shop and letting loose with their lips is shit. This is almost a Tony-Johnny situation before Johnny became boss. Vito is a piece of shit saying he might as well keep Tony's cut cause it's a waste to give it to Carmela. Paulie's thinking the same shit which is pretty stupid all in all. And this fuckin' guy cuts out coupons what a cheap bastard.

- Hilarious the investor meeting about Cleaver. It's all wise guys. The guys nixing JT's ideas was hilarious. LOL at it being originally called Pork Store Killer. Dumb ass correcting Silvio doesn't know shit whatsoever that's a terrible idea.

- LOL at Carmela getting super pissed at AJ over the A&E documentary. Damn at her saying AJ was a cross to bear YIKES. Interesting that Carmela no longer feels horrible about how Tony makes his money and believes that there are worse people in the world. Which is obviously true but, you know, not to the extent that she believes it is.

- Bobby whining to Silvio and Silvio subsequently giving him a "mornings are better" answer was funny once again. Not the next morning though cause Silvio has to be stretchered out of the house. Clearly he cannot handle the big boss spot. Vito thinking he can be the big boss is absolutely ridiculous.

- Paulie telling the honest truth about Tony was great. HE LOOKS TERRIBLE. LOL about him telling Tony about his balls and dick, which sends Tony into cardiac arrest. It's hilarious in a way that Paulie's voice would bring him to this point. HOLY SHIT right at the same time as this VITO GRABS FINN BY THE ARM AND STARTS RUBBING IT WHAT A HOMO. I totally forgot about that part. Now in coma land when Tony says "will you shut up in there" to Paulie's voice was quite a trip. OH SHIT THEY GOT THE CART and now it's thunder and lightning in coma land as they're trying to bring Tony to in the real world. This shit of Tony B hanging out in the front yard, and his mom standing in the front door at the house was haunting. Damn man you go in that house you die.

- AND HE WAKES. Bobby lets the guys know and admist the celebration Paulie and Vito look extremely nervous. They ain't happy, and Paulie wants Tony's cut to Carmela ASAP. So it gets there in a fat ass envelope. She realized how soulless Paulie and Vito looked to give her that money too. Also whoa when Tony says to Carmela "I'm dead right"

Videos:

Paulie breaks into colombian apt.

Tony Soprano's Near Death Experience

This episode is nowhere near as good as the last, but I found the comedy bits here to be far more funny. Paulie's think with his balls was over the top yet hilarious all the same.

THE FLESHY PART OF THE THIGH

- Man that mask shot to open the episode was creepy as hell. I wasn't expecting it. Also creepy was the stomach incision being changed again, that shit has to hurt beyond belief.

- Barone kid digging into Tony's job position at Barone is a horrible idea.

- Tony is SO MAD about Bobby missing out on taking care of Junior because of the trains. He feels like he wouldn't be there if not for that and he isn't wrong. HAVE YOU HEARD THE GOOD NEWS. YES THIS GUY AGAIN.

- lol at the doctor saying "I just found Jimmy Hoffa" during Tony's surgery.

- When Paulie finds this out, it's so messed up. Nucci isn't his real mom wtf. How the fuck is somebody supposed to take that when they're an old man themselves? Of course he drives to Green Grove in a huff, but I didn't expect him to say the things he said. "My mother's a whore" that's totally messed up. When he went off the rails at Father Phil I laughed.

- Insurance people be fucked up. "Wallet biopsy" awesome that Tony tells that bitch to get out of his room. Amazing when Tony overhears these guys talking about street cred, getting shot, and all that shit. When Bobby hears it too it's amazing. Tony knows that he has to keep on at Barone Sanitation, that's his supposedly legit job, can't lose the tax form. Back to the wallet biopsy, Tony thinks the paramedic took 2 grand from his wallet and wants it back, so the guy better come up with that shit.

- Johnny not wanting to give Tony his position and W-2 permanently is pretty ridiculous, ridiculous enough that Tony threw up. Paulie trying to intimidate Jason Barone wasn't going to work out considering that Barone was so far along in the deal, at the same time, he's so far along that he can't get out of it when he tells the buyer the deal is fucked, so really he's fucked no matter how you look at it. This is illustrated when the Barone guy goes to do his trash pickup routes and gets FUCKED UP.

- Paulie is real fucked up taking away Nucci's living quarters and throwing her TV out the window. At least Tony tries to bring some levity to the situation, but Paulie can't accept it.

- It's great when Bobby shoots this rapper guy in...not the fleshy part of the thigh, but the ass that would give someone anti-street cred.

- This guy trying to preach to Tony is, I dunno, pretty dumb. When he gives him a book about a criminal who goes to jail and whatnot that's pretty rude.

- LOL at Carmela saying Tony should be watching Vito, that she thinks there's less in that package than there was supposed to be. She couldn't be more correct, both he and Paulie are pretty shady and stingy when it comes to letting loose with funds.

- Damn when Paulie cries about Jason Barone's mom walking in and saying don't let anything happen to my boy that's deep as fuck.

- I was surprised when Tony let the paramedic keep the 2 grand, but his outlook on life is quite different. Nice how Johnny now lets Tony keep his W-2 for 10 years and that's all he needed. "Truth be told, there's enough garbage for everybody."

- But it's FUCKED up when Paulie kneecaps this Jason Barone fella and tells him to kick up to him every month so that Nucci can stay at Green Grove. Truth be told that's a lot of fuckin' money, 48 grand a year is rough sledding.

HE SHOT ME IN MY AZZZ! Bobby Shoots Rapper - The Sopranos

Some strange stuff going on here. These people changed, kinda.

MR. & MRS. JOHN SACRIMONI REQUEST...

- WEDDING TIME. But first, Johnny has to request attendance at the wedding. Application granted, but man only 6 hours that's completely fucked up. No alcohol either, but that goes without saying doesn't it.

- Tony trying to measure dicks with this Muscles Marinara fella was comedic. By the way its been a month and a half since the last episode, according to Tony. Tony does not approve of AJ's new job at Blockbuster, he called it "the first stop on the shitbird express" and that sounds quite accurate.

- Paulie was extremely pissed at Chris during their card game, it was excellent. As was four people jumping to scoop the onions out of Tony's food.

- It's obvious that Junior will never be put on trial. The guy is mentally deficient. Later in the episode we find out that he doesn't even know he shot Tony. DAMN.

- "Thank you John." "Thank you who?" Thank you dad." HAHAHAHAHA

- Johhny wants Rusty dead, Tony says no, both things aren't good ideas at all but hey that's how things are gonna go from this point on.

- These Ahmed and Muhammad guys are weird. Chris is pretty stupid giving them card numbers and shit.

- Good on Carmela to dump the front page of the paper when it had Junior plastered all over it. I bet Tony wouldn't have been happy to see that first thing in the morning.

- This new Tony is so strange. Just with how he actually cares about things and all that. Damn the US Marshals are screening everyone into the church that's messed up. LOL at Tony saying you'd think bin Laden was getting married in there. Giving Tony a hard time at the metal detector was really fucked up. Remove your shoes come on he did a Marlon Brando and fell over that's fucked up. That's also REALLY good acting.

- Paulie and Chris joking about Allegra (the medicine) during this is much too much. Things like that are what people do at weddings though whether they'll admit to it or not.

- AJ's girlfriend is p. gross with that I don't eat fish because of the toxins and smoking inside of that big hall. Ironic as fuck. LOL Vito giving Finn a hard time AGAIN I can see how somebody would get extreme homo anxiety as a result of this.

- Awesome when Johnny and Tony had this conversation while feigning like they were talking to the old people round there. So Tony agreed to do the hit on Rusty, hard to say no on the day Johnny's daughter is trying to get married. Chris calling Tony's move on Rusty and the fashion for it to be committed a pussy maneuver was idiotic.

- When this show does sappy they do it in a gongshow fashion and I love it. Vito is so uninterested when dancing with his wife, I remember laughing so hard at this in the past. Hilarious how he begs out of the wedding. It's messed up how the Marshals are ready to shepherd John out of the room when his daughter is cutting the cake, that's as messed up as it gets. They wrap it up as fast as possible and now the shit hits the fan outside when the cocksucker US Marshal pulls in front of his daughter's car that's so screwed up. And oh no Ginny faints and hits the ground like a heavyweight wrestler. Phil's a dickhead when he said Johnny was a disgrace for crying, and everyone besides Tony seems to feel the same way. That's cold.

- Vito saying he needs to go make collections in the middle of the night is quite transparent. LOL at the NEw York guys going to make collections at some gay bar and running into Vito. This was one of the most hilarious things I'd ever seen. The way he was dressed and shit LOL. And they call him a fag and the other one cupcake. What a crazy scene. Vito's now gone to a motel cause he knows exactly what may happen. Calling Silvio was stupid, and of course very suspicious.

- Tony sizing up his competition here was great. It's obvious what he's thinking the whole time. First he looked at Bobby, that's probably not a good idea. He's big as fuck and too many people think he's weak. Paulie, I don't think so. Too old. So Tony sizes up the strongest looking guy in the whole place and decides he's gonna kick his ass to show people who's boss. Muscles Marinara you bout to get wrecked. One of my favorite scenes in the whole series, SUCKERPUNCHED HIM AND FUCKED HIM UP. Now everyone knows Tony's still boss better not fuck with him anytime soon. Little do they know bloody vomit flies all over the place in the restroom.

Sopranos-Wedding Scene

The Wedding from Hell

The Sopranos - Tony lays down a beating to show hes still the boss

Of course the guy whose ass Tony kicked didn't fight back hard, cause if he would have it would've been a terrible idea and probably gotten him killed. Anyway, everyone's weaknesses were laid out on the table and the buildup to whatever it is that happens got a big boost here.

LIVE FREE OR DIE

- What the hell is this with Vito having a piece on the side. He doesn't even fuck her which was a ridiculous thing to find out.

- This guy having to apologize to Tony after getting his ass kicked by him was funny, insight once again to how things work in mob land.

- Awesome how Chris finds out about Vito's gay bar exploits at an AA meeting. Of course he immediately goes to tell Paulie, Silvio, and Tony. The story is hilarious, how he relays the story of Vito wearing a motorcycle hat and chaps. "So what we gotta do Ton, see him taking it up the ass?" Patsy said he couldn't care less which made Paulie immediately suspicious of his sexuality. Also linked his weight loss to AIDS. That was great too.

- If Meadow had brought up the Muslim family who had their son snatched away a year previous you can bet Tony would have turned it into a blowout argument. But not this time.

- LOL at Benny finding Vito and saying that Tony's been looking for him for days, and that he needs to come in to see him. Of course Vito floors it out of the driveway, cause what other choice does he have? He thinks Tony will kill him.

- This kid Chris uses for the hitman job is a straight fiend. Paying him in drugs makes it strange for Chris to be carrying that shit, wouldn't he be worried about using that shit or did he suddenly get resolve?

- Vito emptying out his savings and going on the lam is pretty sad. He's also eating like a fat fucking slob again, so when he goes to grab his phone and throw it out the window, he also rubs sauce all over his pants which is GROSS. It was funny how hard this fool was driving in the rain, wasn't he worried about getting in a wreck? That would've been far worse than running over a branch I'm sure.

- Carmela's dad scamming building materials from her is some ice cold shit.

- Oh man the worst lines in TV history. The Johnny Cakes lines. Also weird for Vito to suddenly stop right in front of Gayville where a gay guy mans the grill. This is kind of a big show flaw.

- Silvio's line where he's sure Vito's wife doesn't get the pipe brought a smile to my face. As did Tony's conversation with the worker who picked up Vito's phone.

- Amazing how everyone gossips about Vito's sexuality. Tony looks like a cartoon character when he says to Melfi, "HE'S A FAAAAAAAAAAG." It's awesome when he also says "every TV show rubs your nose in it nowadays," that's what goes on here lol. Then he finally admits that he doesn't really care at all about Vito after all that posturing. And now again with Carmela and Rosalie doing it, they said Vito's wife should get tested. And Meadow of course, already knows what the problems are. LOL she just blurted it out, Finn saw him giving some guy a blowjob. That was a great reveal. Now Tony comes downstairs and hears this, it's too bad they didn't show his facial reaction when he heard.

Now over at Satriales, Finn is there, and has to tell everyone what he saw. They don't show him relaying the story there either. Just the immediate aftermath. Paulie's reaction is fucking amazing. Finn feels pretty awful because he KNOWS something bad is gonna happen as a result of this, but hey, the guy was harassing him like crazy.

- Now Phil knows too which is bad news. Horrible news that will obviously lead to horrible shit.

- LOL at Carmela finding out that Angie was doing business with Patsy and Benny. Awesome moment that of course, is going to be gossipped about with Rosalie right now.

- Silvio's explanation about how people could start witholding more money due to Tony's inaction on this Vito matter was very true. Of course these guys don't kick up correctly in the first place, so it stands to reason they could get angrier and do that.

- Hilarious how defensive Meadow is of her family. That was uh, not the case early on. Finn's right of course, there's some hypocrisy going on no doubt about it.

Tony learned that Vito is a GAY - The Sopranos HD

Sopranos - Vito a Fag

The New Hampshire stuff in this one is very flawed. There are some funny parts here but all in all this is an episode and story arc that could have been done without. The initial blowjob that set all this off probably should have been treated in the way that Rawls being gay was in The Wire, ignored never to be mentioned again, but hey it's a different show and we go a different way.

LUXURY LOUNGE

- The Italian guys are here to finally do their hit. Some impeccable instruction going on here by the fiend. BAM THERE GOES FRANKIE VALLI. Right in his driveway. And there they go back to Italy that was the easiest whacking there could have been.

- LOL at Phil's rant about Vito at the dinner. That was unbelievable.

- This credit card scam is ridiculous. No need to go into detail about it.

- Fucked up how people call Vito's kid Homo Junior. That's so wrong. The competition to Artie's place is apparently EXCELLENT, but Tony feels like a traitor. Tony clamming up as he did was nice, you never want to say too much to an asshole like Phil.

- Artie is being a bad dickhead right now. Not only is his food not at its best, but he's acting like cock blocker in chief. His spats with everyone are great though. Charmaine is right when she tells Artie he talks to his guests too much. His topics of conversation are usually pretty uncomfortable too.

- This storyline with Chris and Little Carmine is something I find extremely boring. It's pretty bad, and tough to watch Chris pound throw blow. Hooker is hot, but I thought he said he didn't have to pay?

- Damn Artie complaining about Tony's tab again. When he gets frustrated about business that's the go-to move.

- Murmur paying for this credit card info is something that annoys me, and it's not him but the assholes who dime out their customers like that. And see, now there's credit card fraud at the Vesuvio, so Artie's screwed. American Express is cutting him off.

- BOLLOCKS. Kingsley couldn't give less of a shit about this. "Law and Order the SUV" great comment by Chris. Their movie pitch is totally horrendous. LOOK AT ALL THIS FREE SWAG AT THE HOTEL. This does a great job highlighting how much both Chris and Little Carmine really don't know about the movie business.

- LOL ARTIE. I'VE BEEN GOOD TO YOU PIECES OF SHIT, BUT ALL YOU PAY ME BACK WITH NONSTOP ASSRAPE. Artie is the BEST. Why does the guy who played him get no work? Then we find out it's Benny and Martina who are doing the scam, what pieces of shit those two are.

- Artie's repressed rage hits a crazy level when he snipes the rabbit. DAMN.

- Chris was most definitely going through that hooker's purse regardless of what he says. This fool needs to stay off the bottle. So awkward when he and Murmur go in the elevator with Kingsley. In the end Chris cannot help but go back to his roots and try leaning on him for some free stuff.

- Artie knew immediately that it was this Albanian who scammed him. Awesome when she says I won't fuck you. I don't think he was trying to or anything, but that whole conversation set him off and he went to Benny's house what a moron. At least THIS TIME Artie kicks someone's ass. BENNY YOU GOIN DOWN.

- Charmaine going on the boat with Tony is kinda weird considering what she thinks of him. Now Artie has to do 2fer specials how unfair is that shit. Even still, Tony is not going to let Benny kill Artie, or do anything to him.

- This Lauren Bacall hijacking was screwed up. Damn Chris punched her in the face.

- Artie greeting old folks to his restaurant with a black eye cannot be too comfortable. So it's Benny's dinner at Vesuvio, and Artie can't help but say some stupid shit in front of Benny's wife, mom, and dad, "can I get you a Martina?" He fucked up real bad with that. Benny goes straight in the kitchen AND WHOA FUCK SENDS HIS HAND INTO A POT OF BOILING FUCKIN' HOT TOMATO SAUCE. We skip forward a little while, with Artie's hand bandaged on a different day, and Tony tells Artie that his table chatter isn't cool after they have a little argument.

- Chris is kind of dumb giving Tony those stolen tickets to Australia. Cause them shits ain't tracked right?

- The closing scene with Artie cooking that rabbit meal for the two customers at the very end was the best part of an average episode. In the end, he's having a hard time, and he's still not going to change. Not for the good of his business, nothing.

Videos:

The Sopranos - Artie lays down a beating on Benny

Lauren Bacall getting robbed by Christopher Moltisanti

Very, very average showing this time.

JOHNNY CAKES

- Well we've just been signaled that Tony can have sex now, cause we kicked off the episode with him and Carmela getting it on. LOL at Tony's face when he sees these guys coming out of AJ's room. "Your amigos" lol. AJ's selling his drums cause he needs scrilla.

- LOL at the grill guy showing up and putting out a fire. Is this over the top or what? Is this the same world as the one we're used to in this show, where people actually do good things with no ulterior motive?

- AJ and Tony pounding down brews while fishing is weird, when he asks what's gonna happen to Junior, Tony has a great response in saying fuck him, I don't care.

- Was interesting when Patsy tried to extort a corporate franchise. That was totally not going to work out. Computers and shit killing the mafia.

- Lol when Tony is approached by a Jamba Juice rep about selling a building. Price is pretty low and it would be cold to sell out from under him.

- Vito's version of spitting game to Johnny Cakes is hilarious to watch. It's not even really spitting game as much as awkwardly beating around the bush and saying "it's fucking delicious" and stuff like that.

- AJ at Blockbuster talking with this dude in front of the kid and his mom was so funny, yet wrong at the same time. Fuckin' this and fuckin' that. On the back of this, I was really tired of this Melfi meetings with Elliot a while back, and I still am. They're lame.

- How can these douchebags have bottle service and shit. 1890 bucks what the fuck how can AJ work at Blockbuster all day guy cover that even after selling his drums. That doesn't make sense.

- Tony and Phil arguing about Vito is really ridiculous. They agree but it doesn't seem to matter, Phil is overbearing as it gets. Speaking of Vito, he stole some guy's phone to call home, and his wife is telling him the gay can be cured. I'm not sure the guy who plays Vito has the acting chops for this part.

- Ha at Julianna finding Tony at the Bing. Tony's initial principles made total sense to me, mainly in that America does look the same fucking everywhere, and it's terrible that such a thing has happened in our country. Of course that doesn't have a thing to do with why Tony won't sell the building to Jamba Juice.

- Amazing that Vito supposedly stared at the firemen doing their drills in a field. Creepy shit. It was funny when Vito punched Johnny Cakes for kissing him considering that Vito then got his ass kicked.

- At this point AJ has become a drain on Tony and Carmela's marriage. They're happy, and romantic which is real weird, but AJ comes around and ruins that. And now we see AJ snorting some X in a club. This dude is too dumb for real.

- AJ wanting to be woke up at 10 AM only to laze out at 4 PM was uh, odd? Whoa shit he's got a knife. AND HE'S AT JUNIOR'S CRAZY PLACE. What is this kid thinking? At least this idiot dropped his knife. When Tony confronts him about this is one of the best moments all season. He doesn't want his kid to be ANYTHING like him and that's reflected here. Now Tony is really depressed about the goings-on, and completes the Jamba Juice deal, pending signatures and all that.

- Vito grabbing Cakes hand was just a little awkward. Just because of how recalcitrant he was previously.

- There is a huge sense of impending dread regarding this scene because the viewer knows what Tony intends to do with this Julianna, and that shit just ain't right. Even more not right than usual cause of how much Carmela has helped him. I mean their relationship has done a full 180. Even now, having seen this before, it feels wrong. I was glad at how this ended with Tony finally undergoing some behavior correction. What the fuck is this it's weird. Yet feels right.

- AJ panic attacking again should be the catalyst for lifestyle change, right?

- Tony raging out over the food that's in the fridge, or rather not in the fridge is ridiculous, but rather he do that than smash with some sleaze.

Video:

The Sopranos - AJ Seeks Revenge

Only one notable video moment here. Shelving the mafia storylines hurt previous episodes, but not this one. Instead, this one is hurt by the Vito storyline. At this point, I'm hardly even paying attention to it and am awaiting the story to shift back to Jersey. I can't get over how contrived Vito's scenario seems, which keeps me from being emotionally invested in any way. And he's so far away that his disconnection from the rest of the characters makes it pretty meaningless. I don't know what Chase was thinking having so much of this on screen. The AJ storyline was excellent though, far and away the best in this episode and best since Johnny Sack's at the wedding.

Saw the guy that played a bartender in the show doing stand up last night. he said there was gonna be a movie so take that for what its worth.

THE RIDE

- Funny how we're introduced to a new character by her telling Chris that she's pregnant. She was worried but that's what Chris wanted this whole time so what the hell time to get married.

- Awful how the new priest tried to extort more money out of Paulie. 10k to 50k? Get real stingy ass Paulie is never doing something like that.

- ROAD TRIP. A big deal isn't made out of that specifically, but Tony stops to take a leak and he and Chris come along a biker gang stealing some wine. Like true criminals they go straight after the cases. Initially they just wanted a few for themselves. Amazing how Chris goads them, but then things turn into a shootout and Chris clips one as they drive away. Great scene.

- The dinner scene is just as good as Tony reverts back to cartoon character form. Unfortunately though, he gets Chris to drink a glass of wine and as we know that isn't good. Of course it doesn't end at a glass either, Tony tempts him into having more. Chris is unable to moderate, that's why he had to go to rehab, so this isn't good for him. And then oh shit they show what happened on the day of Chris finding out about Adriana. Tough to watch that.

- Hilarious how this feast for the Saint is basically a mob party. Similarly so is how Phil and Tony are somewhat chummy. Oh boy when Carmela sees Adriana's mom you know some bad shit is about to take place. And it does when she tells Carmela that Adriana is dead, and the FBI told her that Chris did the murder. Wrong on the latter part.

- Chris paying the junkie in heroin once again, this time though he can't help but get in on that action. Even after telling the other guy he needed to get help. What a moron.

- The parade of the Saint starts and everyone notices he doesn't have his gold hat. Cheap ass Paulie. He's having a biopsy on his prostate by the way.

- Tony and Carmela's conversation about Adriana was extremely interesting. "Let me school you on domestic violence, first and foremost, there's always a body."

- Ha at Janice and Bobby Junior trying to fit in those small ass teacups. This kid is all like this is for babies and shit, well nope this turned out to be a hardcore ride cause it's messed up and jolts to a stop. When Paulie hears about it he doesn't give that much of a shit. Now Janice tells Tony about it, and Meadow chimes in to bring up the idea of monetary compensation, so Janice starts grabbing her neck and criticizing Bobby for inaction. Now she has a neck brace and Bobby goes straight over to the ride owner's place, pistol whips the guy, and says give me 25 thousand cash. But the guy blames Paulie for it and shit's gonna hit the fan no doubt.

- Cannoli eating contest that's just gross, but Bobby goes over to the place and starts some shit, which causes everyone to have a look. Look what Janice stirred up this time, the aftermath wouldn't have been so bad had she not said anything. Bobby and Paulie had a big blowout, hopefully I'll be able to link a video. Afterward, Nucci sees him getting an espresso, and tells him that people are talking about him being cheap. His response is to say fuck her and his real mother. Dick.

- Bobby and Paulie are incapable of being in the same room as we see at Chirstopher's bachelor party dinner. Bobby's like fuck it, I've gotta go. Tony thinks Paulie's in the wrong, which is no doubt correct, he screwed up with his stingy attitude and has to pay for it this time. Tony levels him out, because as we know Paulie has a propensity to get wound up by bad news.

- LOL at Tony going over to cheer up his niece.

- Paulie seeing the Virgin Mary at the Bing was awfully strange, yet something you'd certainly expect from him. Awesome how he goes over to Nucci's and silently apologizes by plopping down in front of the television.

Videos:

The Sopranos - Tony and Chrissy steal some wine

Paulie, Bobby & Cannolis Sopranos

The first forty minutes or so was one of my favorite stretches in the series. Great television.

MOE N' JOE

- Sal Vitro's got some balls asking if he can stop doing Johnny Sack's yard. Tony saying "don't you think this is the time Mrs. Sacrimoni needs you the most" was excellent. I love how Johnny is so against ratting out, that's what you signed up for, and that's what you should hold up to when you got into this thing.

- Janice lobbying for Bobby's captaincy was perfectly valid. It is bullshit that he's not a captain.

- lol Johnny Cakes finding out that Vito wasn't writing a book about Rocky Marciano. How did he not realize that in the first place? That's small town naivety to a T. Vito telling him some of the truth regarding his life was a bit of a surprise, but he still lies about a lot of this stuff.

- Bobby trying to get his kid into train sets was amusing. I know its gotta be sad for a dad to find out their kid doesn't want to do something with them.

- LOL at Vito doing real construction work, being unable to hack it, and taking a nap. Getting caught too.

- It was funny when Tony finally came out with his feelings of loving to see Bobby and Janice get shit on at all times. Revelation to find out Janice extorted him with a tape recording of Tony and Barbara arguing.

- Vito jumping at the chance to be heroic was unusual, even more so was Johnny Cakes getting mad about it.

- Man Bobby getting fucked up by those kids, that shit ain't right. When they shoot at the asphalt and the bullet fragments get in his eye that's messed up.

- Tony's attempt to get these guys to sell their company on behalf of Johnny Sack was a complete and total failure.

- So Paulie does have prostate cancer. Caught very early though. If the show had killed him off in this way that woulda been sad.

- Tony subsequently shitting on Bobby is ice cold. Is it really all about the money? That being said it's funny when Tony has to go over to their place, watch the game Bobby's son doesn't wanna watch, the kid says he hates the fuckin' Giants, and the furniture is broken. Plus Janice corrects Bobby Junior in a terrible, humiliating manner and now Tony is starting to feel sorry for Bobby.

- Awesome to hear what's inside Vito's head, whoever thought of this came up with a brilliant idea. But it wasn't even 11:30, it was 9:50. Great scene. Vito can't take any more of this shit, so he packed up, took his car and got the fuck out of there. Thankfully this storyline is over. And of course, he's going back to the NY/NJ area!

- Johnny's 15 year deal, well frankly that shit sucks, but it's better than the alternative.

- Now Tony has to listen to Meadow's problems, which is obviously not going to go over well considering Tony has a hard time saying the right thing at the right time. So of course he says, "it's good to talk to Carmela about this stuff", and then, "when you're living in sin with some guy" bad ideas, both of those. And then doesn't help Carmela with the spec house which is fucked up and I don't understand quite why he feels that way. But it's interesting how he places this on Carmela by saying how far do you want to push, essentially putting her in position to say end the guy, but she never would.

- Vito shooting this guy is really fucked up, makes it easier to hate him too.

- Hahaha it's funny how Chris gets the Maserati taken away. He bought the car but it doesn't matter, Ginny got the money, Chris gets nothing.

- Vito drives past Satriale's but no way he's stopping.

- Wow at Tony doing something for Janice, that's a real fucking trip. Or is it for Bobby? I think the latter. Janice going over to his pad, crying, and all that was a very typical Janice moment. I'm talking about Tony making it possible for Janice and Bobby to get Johnny Sack's house.

Videos:

The Sopranos - Vito's work (S06E10)

For some reason Bobby getting mugged isn't on YouTube which is pretty stupid. Anyway, it's nice to get some action coming back over the last few episodes, I think I was going without it for a little while there.

Vito whacking the guy getting his mail is completely fucked up and I really don't see the point of the scene.

It's to show that even though he went to New Hampshire, didn't have to hide in the closet anymore and all that, he still came back as the same guy who shot Jackie Jr. from behind, leaving him in the snow in cold blood. Also to reiterate that Vito's fantasy land in New Hampshire and the real world back in his neck of the woods are two totally different places. He learned nothing, changed in no way.

COLD STONES

- Apparently AJ lost his job, didn't tell Carmela that he'd been fired from Blockbuster. He is an absolute dickhead, plain and simple. Telling his mom he spent a grand at the club was one of the stupidest things, not ever, but really stupid. And then he waits for Tony to leave the room to give him the finger, what a douche.

- Interesting for Meadow to say that she was going to California. That would be a bombshell for a parent to hear. Tony tries to fall back asleep though.

- Tony should have went to Paris with Carmela, that was just what he needed, but he passed it up which was pretty short-sighted.

- Whoa at Vito ambushing Tony in a mall. Terrible idea, but it isn't like he had another choice. And Vito's back in the closet, says he isn't a fag. Silvio says about this, "that's the thing with the gays. This living in the closet - makes them devious." Paulie is immediately against Vito's idea to get back in this thing, but doesn't say anything. It's just the look.

- Vito having dinner with his kids, yet telling them not to be telling anyone that he's at home, that's so dumb. And telling his kids he's a spy in the CIA, who was in Afghanistan....bwhahahahaha. Calling Johnny Cakes is pretty sick in the head, shouldn't have talked to him anymore.

- French rap welcoming Carmela and Rosalie to Paris was quite the thing. The city appeared to be quite dreary on the first glimpse, which means...you shouldn't go there in the winter.

- This guy loaning money from Vito right now is a genius. Phil is extremely pissed that Vito is around, Tony doesn't want to hear about that shit though. But he knows it's time to get rid of Vito, he's gotta go, and tells Silvio exactly that. Carlo should handle that shit, so sez Tony.

- Carmela is that overbearing traveler type, Rosalie on the other hand is the lazy ass traveling type who just goes along to do whatever. Carmela went to this place looking to find herself, and what it really means to be alive, Rosalie is nothing like that at all.

- Phil's wife is so anti-gay, it explains why he follows in these footsteps. I don't think he needs the persuasion though.

- The editing is top notch, how it cuts back from Carmela in church to Tony in the middle of getting blown. Pretty huge contrast there.

- Vito calling Tony and expecting to meet him in the morning (where he'd then die) only to be welcomed to Phil in his motel room indicates an early death for our fat friend. Phil doesn't partake, he sits and watches. That's sick. Bobby brings the guys the news at Satriales, they all cannot help but mention it, everyone knows Phil did it. Tony's not really in position to say anything, cause if Tony endorses it, the other captains know Tony could let them get killed too. If he's against it, Phil will find out. So Tony will just vent to Silvio and come up with a plan.

- Was great when Tony saw AJ sitting around on the computer after coming home and had a look of extreme disgust on his face. The guy won't work, won't help out around the house, or do anything.

- Carmela seems so lonely in Paris, has a hard time forgetting about what's going on at home. Unfortunate.

- Phil's comment of "I loved him like a brother in law" was amusing.

- Therapy is clearly irrelevant at this point and only serves to humor Tony, because he doesn't want to talk about anything meaningful. He just needs for someone to hear all his shit.

- Bad idea for Carmela to bring up the two Jackie's in Paris. That's the worst timing possible.

- Hey, it's one of Phil's guys who is known for pretty much this scene only at Satriales. He can't help but talk all that shit, so Carlo & Silvio end this asshole. It was pretty stupid for the guy to linger around and not keep his mouth shut. Silvio jumping on him in giving a sleeper hold as Carlo stabbed him was awesome. Now Silvio had to lock the door to make sure nobody went there and make up some story. Tony shows up, and they tell him not to come in, but he insists, and sees. Well they told him not to come back there.

- Now Tony walks in when AJ is playing video games with his friend, and of course it's time to let out some rage. He tried to be nice at first and tell him that he set up a construction job, but AJ is of course not a fan of this at all, and tells Tony so. In response Tony launches a football helmet into his windshield which signals AJ better not fuck him around any longer with this stuff.

- This dream of Carmela's with Adriana in it was so weird. No matter how far Carmela goes away, she can't get away from her life.

- Sad when the kids read Vito's news story regarding his murder.

- Carmela is back to the grind, doing laundry not even a full day after getting home. That was, er, odd

Silvio and Carlo kill Fat Dom - The Sopranos HD

Best episode of a pretty weak season, the worst season so far IMO. There's been a lot of filler this time, but there's a finale to look forward to and this one got back to business. Even considering the stakes, Carlo and Silvio being unable to control themselves not only sums up this murder, but nearly every pulse decision in the whole series made by these guys. They're nuts.

I get that about Vito but was capping a civilian really the best way to illustrate that? Drinking in the morning, calling the casino and fucking around at work made that point clearly. As far as the last episode, we get it, Tony will always fuck around on Carmela. How many times do we need to see his vinegar strokes to hammer that home.

KAISHA

- The scenes that outline Fat Dom's disposal are my favorite type of scenes in TV. Head goes down the sewer, body goes somewhere down the shore. Right after that, Phil's wire shop gets blown up as hes walking towards it. It was amusing to see him jump in the air without real cause at the bomb's explosion.

- Tony still is a sleaze hound. I think that's well established.

- Adriana's mom tried to kill herself, as we see in a short glimpse. This leads to a small blowout between Tony and Carmela, actually, it isn't that bad. Surprising.

- Bobby with this eyepatch is amazing. He looks like a fat mobbed up Captain Hook. Or like some guy down the way who'd be listed on a sex offender website. LOL at Chris lying about having a black piece on the side. Why's he gotta do that? Well we'll find out real quick. WTF it's Julianna. Also, Chris doesn't want to be married to his new wife Kelli. Far too late for that though. Kelli doesn't understand him, well yeah that's obvious.

- Paulie asking AJ what the fuck he was doing was a great moment, AJ caught up in total lust EVEN BETTER.

- Little Carmine hosting a meeting between Tony and Phil is something everyone knows is destined for a bad end. Tony and Phil had ironed it out, but Carmine kept talking and ruined the whole fucking thing by bringing up Phil's brother Billy.

- AJ once again spots Blanca and uh, she gets him to take her out, but doesn't give him the whole phone number. That's a neat trick. This is the best thing AJ has lucked into for quite a while.

- Was interesting to see how Chris and Julianna came to meet each other, while she was in AA telling a story about Tony. That's quite the coincidence. Of course, they got it on just a bit afterward.

- Oh no at Carmela wanting to hire a professional to track Adriana down. If she only knew. Tony now wants Silvio to lean on the building inspector big time, cause if she has a house to build, she'll forget about Adriana.

- Margulies and Imperioli have great chemistry on-screen so uh, this was a really good pairing. Murmur telling Chris they'd enable each other was interesting. Julianna's friend's advice was to stay away from married guys, especially mobbed up ones. That's actually great advice.

- New York captains talking about what to do with Tony was so interesting. They want Tony dead, but Phil isn't gonna do that.

- AJ showing BRAIN POWER right here when the guys turned up loud ass music and Blanca wanted it turned off. Give them a BRIBE. A good mountain bike, that's a GREAT IDEA. His parents are rich he can afford that. Then he gets laid cause of that smart move.

- Was funny when Carmela found out the building inspector had been leaned on. Actual joy in their house what's going on here.

- See, Murmur is right, now these two are enabling each other and getting back into drugs. Well that's just great for the both of them. Chris has a pregnant wife so this guy is just an idiot.

- Phil says that he's sick, so he goes straight to the ER, is told his heart's fine, now he's having a heart attack in the middle of the night. Tony telling everyone he's happy about this was a massive mistake, one of those guys could have ran off at the mouth over that.

- So Bobby goes to see Junior, and Junior is just out of it. Bobby returns his monetary Christmas gift, Junior responds by saying it's for Karen and the kids, and that maybe he wasn't acting alone when Tony was shot. Poor guy has completely lost his mental faculties.

- Tony spotting Chris with Julianna was good for a laugh. Chris had the worst lie too. "A friend of Kaisha." Tony surely must know better. Those two have pretty much fallen out in terms of their drug use, it's all the time now. Anyway, Chris admits to Tony that he's seeing Julianna, and doesn't appear angry on the surface. But underneath, as we see in therapy, Tony is seething.

- It's pretty weird that Agent Harris is at Satriales to tell Tony that there's a possible attempt coming on somebody in his family. So, is he telling him because Tony's been nice to him and doesn't want to see him die, or what?

- Was weird how Chris and Julianna went about breaking it off. They went outside together, but took two separate cars to a meeting and we never see them together again.

- Amusing how Phil can cry after his heart attack but shit all over Johnny for crying when he had hard times.

- LOL at this beret Tony's wearing during the Soprano family Christmas present fest. The look on Tony's face when he saw Blanca cracked me up in that I expected a long rant against it in private with Carmela. Because of race, age, and the child. But he wasn't all that mad, cause it seems like he's fine with AJ having something, someone. Low expectations and stuff.

Nothing notable for videos this time. If this counts as a finale, this is the worst. So is this season. Lots of filler, and not a whole lot of conclusion either. Rather than wind it down, the series entered a type of holding pattern after Tony's recovery.

SOPRANO HOME MOVIES

- FLASHBACK: Johnny Sack and Tony talking on Johnny's porch. This is the FBI arrest of Johnny scene. Some kid sees Tony toss his gun in the snow, picks it up. Then shoots it on accident, but takes it back into his pad. Forward 3 years (oh wait Meadow's back in Jersey), and the idiot kid got arrested, told the cops that the gun was Tony's. So they brought the whole gong show parade to his house and are giving him a weapons charge for hollow point ammunition. So at the lockup he's been thrown in with a whole bunch of mopes and some guy takes a shit in the background (lol).

- On the Phil front, he's out of the hospital. This one guy of his, the captain, he's got weird eyes.

- Oh boy AJ has Blanca's name tattooed on his forearm. That had escaped my memory. LOL when Blanca said "they let him out already."

- Awesome when the federal prosecutor tells this dopehead who pressed charges that he was an idiot and they've been building a case against Tony for a really long time, so what the fuck was he thinking? Tony doesn't know that the FBI picked the case up though. To Bobby's place upstate they go.

- See how these guys got an AR-10. GUN CONTROL THAT SHIT. Funny how that's a birthday present when Tony just had a gun charge. Ironic how Bobby said his grandfather came into the country illegally and then said WE OUGHTA BUILD A WALL NOW. Tony not being able to accept that he's different now was so typical of his character. If he can't have fun his way, nobody's going to have fun.

- His face when he busted a nut after a birthday blowjob was creepy as fuck.

- AJ and Blanca sleeping in Tony and Carmela's bed cracked me up. And of course it's time for a big ass pool party.

- Most people would say that what these four are doing right now is the life, but I'm not sure it is. Middle of nowhere, on a boat, that might not be for me. Tony thinking that Bobby should help him out more over the long-term and perhaps take over Christopher's role was quite interesting. And frankly, he should do it. He's far more reliable than a smackhead, actually cares about Tony, and he's a pretty good guy. Probably the best guy of all the mobbed up characters.

- LOL karaoke, I wish they had showed Tony singing. Carmela was funny enough. And now Monopoly that's when you can tell people are getting old. I like how Tony steals from the bank, and how Bobby has this running argument over the free parking rule (which I always utilized when younger). Now Tony's blabbing while drunk cause he can't hold his liquor and trading bad family stories with Janice. Tony gets so angry when Janice tells the one about Johnny Soprano shooting a bullet through Livia's hair-do. And then when Janice lands on Boardwalk and Tony says "yeah you blew guys under it," I knew at that moment shit would get buck. Carmela thinks his second joke about a German Shepherd's shaved asshole winning first prize in a beauty contest was funny, but then he started with that boardwalk song about Janice. "Under the boardwalk, with his schlong in Jan's mouth" that was kinda hilarious yet extremely fucked up. Tony just couldn't let it go. I can't help but watch that part of the scene five times. Now Bobby sucker punches him and they full out brawl. GODDAMN TONY PUTS HIM THROUGH SOME GLASS, BOBBY HITS HIM WITH SOME BODY SHOTS, TONY KICKS HIM, PUNCHES, CHOKES HIM NOW, AND CARMELA TRIES TO GET IN BUT THAT'S A BAD IDEA. NOW BOBBY HEADBUTTS HIM, PUNCHES HIM IN THE GUT, THEN THE FACE AND DOWN TONY SOPRANO GOES FOR THE COUNT.

- So Bobby leaves considering that he probably thinks Tony will kill him. Or well, he tried to leave and backed his Jeep into a tree. Bobby did the right thing here, but Janice berates Bobby and thinks some bad shit's going to happen to him. Tony wakes up in the middle of the night, all groggy, and decides to go in Bobby's room. And he tells Bobby "you beat me fair and square" LOL.

- Funny he said Bobby beat him fair and square cause for the rest of this trip Tony does not act like that's the case in any way whatsoever. "That throw rug wouldn't have been there, Bobby would have got his ass kicked" and then, he starts talking about Carmela being blown away by him kicking some guy's ass in like the early 80's or some shit. This episode is acted out to the highest degree of quality. Excuses, excuses, and Tony believes this makes him much less of a man. Not just this but the shooting as a major contributory factor. Then Tony brings it up with Bobby and demeans Bobby's victory in their fight which was typical Tony Soprano, hilarious and cartoon character like.

- I think Janice and Carmela were worried that Tony would kill Bobby when they left. At least that's the vibe I got. But now, Janice is spooked because Carmela and Tony told her this story about the kid at the pool party, but her daughter cracked me up when she got mad at being taken out of the water. It backfired on Carmela and Tony to bring that up. Janice bringing up the Richie Aprile incident in a roundabout way without telling Carmela who it was or what exactly happened was interesting. Janice subconsciously does shit, and this time when she did to Carmela when hinting that Tony would wait to get Bobby for years she got called out on it. Also Carmela doesn't know Tony at all if she thinks Tony isn't vindictive. Or maybe this is her defense system going up when someone questions a member of her family as it always does.

- Was interesting how the Montreal guys brought up the one guy's problem, then hinted at Tony perhaps getting rid of it or some such. Tony knew immediately what he was going to do as soon as this was brought up. Bobby is gonna pop his no murder cherry with a hit here. Now that is vindictive and that is how you get revenge on someone. Cruel, of course, but not necessarily wrong, Bobby's been in the mafia for a long time without killing anyone. That being said, Bobby's a good guy and Tony is deliberately attempting to destroy that. Which is wrong. So this is a pretty complex situation, in that he should do the murder as that is his job requirement, yet is too good a person to do the deed. Obviously murder is wrong, so I'm not attempting to justify that at all, but in context it is interesting.

- To Montreal Bobby goes, and the target is in the laundry room. Bobby puts the gun on him and shoots him in the chest, then one more for good measure and he's a goner, as the guy rips his shirt. He kinda did that in a bad way (in terms of looking straight at the guy while killing him, at his face or whatever) and in this day and age shouldn't have dropped the piece, but whatever.

- Tony now finds out the feds took his case on as a RICO predicate. That's bad, and right as he was watching the home movie tape Janice made him for his birthday.

Bobby Bacala clips a french dude

Best episode since Season 5 and maybe even longer. It's about time Bobby got another serious episode where he wasn't humiliated through comedy or a side story.

I'm telling you guys, 6B is the best season in the entire series. 6A was the worst, but I felt it was just set up for the second part anyway.

I don't think it is too out of the ordinary for the FBI to inform someone in the mob if they or someone in their family is going to get hit. They are supposed to be on the side of the law, or "good", and allowing murders to take place would be against what they are trying to uphold. They always have an agenda though; buddy up to guys in the family so if the shit starts to hit the fan, anyone who wants to flip knows they have a contact that can help them out of whatever jam they are in.

In "real life", Al Pacino's character in Donnie Brasco wasn't hit - the feds stopped him on the street and let him know that he was going to get whacked out by the family for letting Donnie in so he turned and entered the witness protection program.

STAGE 5

- Cleaver is almost done! It's hilarious how Daniel Baldwin is the mob boss, that's about as weak a main casting move you can possibly make.

- First time through, John with cancer was a complete surprise. And that he was on oxygen. What the hell? That's what happens when you smoke for a long time and shit. He has 3 months left, but he's tries to avoid telling Ginny and his daughter exactly that. Man they (prison guards) won't even let him hug his family without interruption that's unbelievably fucked up. He bums a cig now cause why the hell not, he's headed for death. And quitting didn't solve that problem. John's holed up in Missouri now, by the way.

- Now we find out Meadow has broken it off with Finn. Odd. Blanca says some weird stuff at times, like in this scene. It's too weird to put to type but she's obviously angry with AJ about some bullshit.

- This orderly who's really a guy in for life is strange. He killed his wife and his wife's aunt. Reason it's weird is just cause you know, he lost his right to practice medicine, right? So all his advice to John is weird.

- Ha at Tony being all alarmed by Agent Harris and his buddy pulling up to his driveway. They tell him it would be to his and their benefit if Tony was to tell the FBI about any shit going on with terrorism or the like.

- And here we are at the Cleaver premiere. Half or more of the people in the crowd are mobbed up. Hilarious when JT expected to get props from Chris for the movie's production, but the props went to Tony instead. JT doesn't get any love and neither does the Asian guy who wanted to say a thing or two. I think he was the director. LOL at the scene in Tony's basement. Not LOL at the mob boss taking advantage of the hero's broad. That was so obviously a link to what Chris thought about Tony and Adriana.

- After that, Blanca is being a bitch to AJ again. He's gotta get that bitch in check, but actually, he can't because he's gone way out of his league and would get dumped on immediately. She has license to walk all over him. Ha at Larry Boy Barese getting busted for skipping house arrest when he's done that for years. They finally caught him. Now Phil's out of the boss chair because of what Tony told him.

- GERALDO! That's great for him to be on TV talking about the mob. Then some lame ass white guy is a mob expert, it's like Jim Cornette talking about gangster rap. COME ON. And it was Dr. Elliot watching the program.

- John taking some jailbird's advice for solid information was sad, but it highlights how much people want to hold onto the life they have. He can talk all that shit about wanting the truth, don't bullshit him or whatever, but nobody really wants to believe the hard truth. They'll cling to whatever they can get.

- Carmela is ANGRY about how the boss was portrayed in Cleaver. She thinks the boss was a dead ringer for Tony. Tony didn't understand that the scene in the movie had anything to do with Adriana and him at all. Tony asks Silvio what he thinks about it, and gets a non-answer/non committal, meaning that he doesn't want to say anything to piss Tony off. So he thinks everyone has the same opinion about that scene as Carmela does. Which is obviously the truth!

- Chris has a new sponsor, by the way. And he gets followed pretty often by some FBI cat. He doesn't go to the Bing anymore either.

- Johnny smoking cracked me up. I mean, what the hell's he supposed to do with his life. He's in jail, he's going to die, he can't share anything with his family, can't touch them, so, I mean, what?

- This scene where Gerry Torciano gets it helps reflect what I think of the finale. He gets it pretty fuckin' bad. Shot a handful of times, blood all over the place and all over Silvio. See, Silvio knows better than to get involved and try to stop the shooter, cause that puts you against someone else not to mention it's illegal. The sound and visual effect in that scene was spectacular.

- Tony gambling on football leads to something later obviously, or they wouldn't show something that seemed so obviously meaningless. Carmine wants no part of settling the dispute for the New York big seat that was a part of Gerry's death and the shooting. And why would he? He gets to live a good life, good money, low stress level, basically exactly what Tony wants. Difference is Tony wants to have his cake as boss and eat it too.

- Chris and Carmela have an intriguing conversation. She is not happy about Cleaver and the Tony/Adriana story in it. Now Carmela brings that Adriana thing up again and said "is it any wonder" that she left for another guy. Whoa. Chris tells JT that he BETTER tell Tony it was his idea to include that scene, and we find out it was Chris idea. So, he cracks a glass award over JT's head. That means he better fuckin' do what Chris says. And he does, but Tony doesn't believe him because of that bump and abrasion on his head. JT's bullshit story was pretty good though, until the injury excuse.

- Johnny is in pretty rough shape here. The orderly guy tells him about Gerry Torciano, but Johnny can hardly say anything in response.

- Tony is really hurt by what he perceives to be total betrayal by Chris. I mean he cries and everything at his appointment with Melfi. That is somewhat, uh, shocking. He thinks Chris wants to see Tony dead, and to be honest I don't know if that's entirely false. Over these last two months I have seen a lot to indicate that may be the case, and vice-versa with Tony to Chris.

- Johnny dying in bed like that sucked. That being said, when my dad goes as these characters dad/husband goes, I honestly think I'd rather it be by surprise. Because I wouldn't want my dad to suffer like that, and regardless of the effect it would have on me, fuck that it just wouldn't be right. This show is pretty good at getting the viewer to explore their personal feelings.

- Funny how they changed Phil's ancestors last name at Ellis Island from Leonardo to Leotardo. That can't be too great a change. All this reflection made Phil think of taking the boss chair back and going hard at everyone who fucked him over. And that plus Tony and Chris having strange looks on their faces while hugging (like the love is not felt in any way) each other at Christopher's daughter's christening sets us up for a killer finishing run.

"Cleaver" from The Sopranos

The Sopranos - Tony Meets With Carmine Lupertazzi Jr

Another great episode. It did the show a lot of good to illustrate that Phil's the most vindictive guy you could ever meet (way more than Tony) when Phil expressed that he doesn't forget shit that happened to him even before he was born!

I think you might be right, but I remember absolutely detesting the closing act of Kennedy and Heidi the last time I watched it. But still, so far, it does a great job in closing out characters that everyone by this point had become very attached to, so while I don't think the outcomes cause very much joy (which dampens it in best season talks), it is the natural conclusion for a lot of them. Naturally more people will pick the seasons that they derive the most natural enjoyment out of in terms of who comes, who goes, best vendetta, all that.

Following this thread has made me start reading my Mafia books again which has inspired me to potentially make a Mafia thread in the NHB or Current Events folder where I post a short history on some of the people and events for various mob families in the U.S. Would anyone be interested in reading these?
