Since text messaging appears in a conversation format, once you close the session and/or the entire tablet, are the msgs erased? Or do you still have to erase them from a different spot later? This is my first phone where it doesn't use the traditional format with a Inbox/Sent/Outbox/ format.
It depends. If you delete it from the main text message menu, the whole conversation is erased. But if you open up the conversation, you can delete each individual text message from there. You'll get the hang of it pretty quickly, text messaging is one of my favorite features on the Pre, to be honest.
Also, for activating an IM account. When I go to activate it only lists Google talk and AIM as the options, yet on the help video, Yahoo msger is an option. How do I get yahoo msger to get in there as an option to activate?
Unfortunately, they don't have a built in way to get Yahoo messenger there as an option. They seem to be the only IM client to not make a version for webOS. I've used meebo before using the web browser... not ideal, but it's sort of a solution if you need to urgently get back to someone on yahoo.

I forgot about this thread..... I got my Palm Pre for Christmas. Only thing I don't like is no good sports apps.
What is the NFL app not good enough for you? Free NFL Network and everything? You're nuts, man.
