So I finally got around to finishing the story. Is it me or does the story just grind to a near halt after the Kaer Morhen battle? Its like they had to drag an hour of endgame content out for four so you do a bunch of busywork.

I am excited that I can just go run around now and explore. That's definitely the best part of the game.

I've finally cleared out most of my PS4 games, so I preordered. Only $40 for the whole thing at Amazon. I look forward to spending 200 hours or so of my life down this hole.

On disk or comes with dlc codes?
No clue. I hope it's on the disc.. but in this day and age, we're likely getting dlc codes.

I had the vanilla game when it first came out, but ended up trading it in as I had too many RPGs going at once to pay enough attention to it (and the usual massive backlog of other games). I'm hoping I'll finally be ready for this game around x-mas.

I would kill for on disk. I'm sick of having 40+ gig of dlc and game sitting on my ps4 because I don't want to wait hours redownloading should I delete the game.

Just got my copy. Looks like everything is on the disc! 42 gigs installed instantly, no DLC codes.

Best Buy had a mini-sale for their Gamers Club members starting a couple days ago and ending today - picked up the Complete Edition for Xbox One the other day for $24. Not sure if I can unload my vanilla edition at this point (which is still unopened, got it for cheap a little bit back) but figured that was cheaper than I've seen it and could even get just the DLC for at this point.

This is the best game I've played in forever, by the way. Might be my favorite since Mass Effect 2.

The DLC was on sale so I picked up both pieces. The wedding party in the first one is really cool and you can tell the voice actor playing Geralt had a lot of fun playing what is pretty much a completely different character.

Finished Hearts of Stone and started Blood and Wine. I really like the setup to Blood and Wine and the setting has almost a fairy-tale book look. This DLC definitely seems a lot meatier than Stone.

Ever since I went back to this I've gotten a whole new appreciation for this game. I didn't explore as much as I should have in the main story, but I've been doing that a lot more in Blood and Wine and there's a whole bunch of great little quests. They definitely seemed to have fun with this because one of them involved me recovering the stolen genitals off a statue that people believed boosted their virility when stroked (seriously). I found that an old man stole them and I gave him one more day of fun before collecting. He then happily gave them back because he was exhausted and couldn't bear it anymore.
