EVERYTHING
I got a little misty. My wife lost it, and then 30 minutes or so later got a text from a friend who also lost it. It was big, powerful, emotional stuff dealing with loss and grief and pain. Wife lost two grandparents this fall and a friend to COVID just a couple months ago, so it resonated big time.
That's one thing I've always said about MCU products: while they can be a bit forumlaic, they're good at stirring real emotions in people. The characters are relatable enough despite being supers, and "feel" real, so what they feel lands well with the viewer. I would rather have this, the vibe of heroes being kind of cheeky and goofy, than the DC vibe of dark and grit, but of course mileage may vary. Wonder Woman - specifically, the first Wonder Woman flick - was better about this.
