The thread title is a deliberate provocation* and expresses a sentiment disturbingly popular among adults who do not appear to be suffering from any obvious mental defect.

*It's been a long time since I've been miserable enough to take joy in peeing on other people's parades, but the phrasing of the thread title dares people to disagree.

And also HarleyQuinn.

In all seriousness I've knowingly listened to like two Weird Al songs and neither of them were better than the original, which is saying a lot since one of them was a Chamillionaire parody.

This fuckstick just released a song called "Foil," about taking home your leftovers from a restaurant. Can you guess what it parodies? "Royals." Because it rhymes. Get AIDS, Weird Al.

That's just the first verse. The second verse is better, about conspiracy theroies (and wearing a hat made of foil)!

Of all the musicians who came of age in the ’80s, the artist that’s remained the most relevant might be a surprising one: “Weird Al” Yankovic.

edit

“Handy” is a meticulous ape of Iggy Azalea’s “Fancy,” down to the booming electronic production and Al’s hip-hop delivery, while doubling as a boastful handyman’s theme song.

How anyone could read that and not immediately cringe in embarrassment, I don't know

It's like the same shitty song, just with awful vocals and immature lyrics that are actually 'clever' because they're about toilets or something. I lasted a good fifteen seconds once he started singing. Bad SNL sketch parody song, that's what it sounds like to me.

People that like weirdal remind me of hipsters in a lot of ways. Don't ask me to go too much further into that observation.

I like Weird Al but I have now heard three songs from the new album and not liked any of them. Word Crimes is one I want to like because I agree with a lot of what the lyrics say and I still hate it.

Members of both groups would be embarrassing if they were still doing it at 40.

I loved Weird Al when I was a kid, but his last few albums haven't done anything for me at all. But then again, I also don't know most of the songs he parodies anymore either, so I'm sure that's at least partially(mostly) the reason why
