I used to be a huge 311 fan when I was fifteen.

Also, 311 are all KKK members. Especially the Hispanic dude.

I'll be honest. One day, a friend of mine dropped out of going to a 311 show in Atlanta, and the ticket fell into my pocket. Papa Roach was the opener. I had always assumed Papa Roach was one guy, like Papa Smurf. I was wrong. The concert was awful because my friend pussed out when it came to sneaking weed inside (the only reason I wanted to go was to smoke his weed).

The younger brother of a kid I grew up with apparently went to Las Vegas for this where they were playing a concert... for weeks on Facebook he was counting down to "311 day in Vegas"...

I'm really glad I got this one in under the wire. Really it was just an excuse to post that video of Shaq swooping in because that's always stayed with me as something that's pure incredible.

I always try to Come Original. Mainly because I don't think the ladies like it BBQ-flavored...

Coolest thing anyone from 311 ever did was beat up Scott Stapp.

I will admit I normally hate that kind of music, but Slightly Stoopid - This Joint has been played many times on my computer. Like a dozen times, maybe.

Their music is atrocious, but they deserve a modicum of respect for kicking Scott Stapp's ass.

Agreed. Everybody should kick Scott Stapp's ass at least once in their lifetime, or at least meet somebody who has.

SHOWING MY AGE, but I remember like a year or so before 311 got commercial success, this girl I crushed on convinced me to listen to what was either their first or second album and I pretended that I liked it because I thought it would help in getting her to like me.

I was either 25 or 26 at the time.

Today's my 26th birthday. The universe is full of magic coincidences.

Amber is the color of your energy, young man.

In other 311 news, a girl I was friends with in high school both loved 311 and bragged about masturbating with a giant candy cane. That's the best thing I can say about 311.

By magic coincidence, today's my 56th birthday. My math may be off, though.

I'm tolerant of almost all kinds of music but "Amber" is one of about a half dozen songs that I have vehement hatred towards.

*reads thread*

And I posted it earlier in this thread, apparently.

Did you see their most recent album cover? They named the thing "Stereolithic." What it has to do with 3D printing, I don't know.

Anyway, it's their 11th album, so the album cover has a big 11 on it, but it's a space-y photoshop disaster. Unfortunately, the way they did it looks like 9/11 on the moon.

Oh, and it's getting released on 311 day.
