Do any of Conrad's old newsletters exist? I know he was in that scene in the late 90s-early 2000s.

John Arezzi is redoing recaps of radio shows he did with Brian Last with his current co-host Marsh. This is one of two episodes he did with WWF’s cooperation*, episode two featured Bruno Sammartino and that did to relationship with WWF PR what you would expect.

*There was also a weird period in the Fall of 1991 right before the scandals dropped where WWF was being curiously cooperative with the wrestling media and Arezzi got to interview Freddie Blassie. Which is interesting if you want to hear Freddie Blassie bury the Ultimate Warrior.

It is funny to imagine the WWF PR person in September 1991 offering Arezzi his choice of the current roster and finding out Arezzi is excited to interview the creepy old guy in the office.

So we've been doing shows for a few months. Now Sports Byline USA is considering picking up "After Dark" for Syndication.

Maybe I will get in the WON Awards for "Best Booker" over Tony Khan in 2025
Starting Jan 8th, Bryan gets an hour a week for "After Dark" on over 200 affiliates, plus multiple repeats over the day.
Plus Armed Forces radio.

Hogan/Flair Clash rebooking feels pretty easy. With the WWF running the Backlund angle at the same time, you can thumb your nose at them by having the Masked Man angle take out Hogan's knee. - then later during the match itself Hogan is trapped in the figure four. Beefcake begs Hart to toss in the towel. Hogan sells for a bit but starts to Hulk Up out of the move, prompting Beefcake to grab the towel and toss it in. Hogan can sell the injury until the Havoc rematch, with Flair ducking him. Hogan offers up his career as a means to prompt Flair into accepting the rematch.

I created a Facebook page for the show to appeal to the Boomers. Next step, millionaire status.

Like the page if you enjoy paranormal content. I've got guests booked through March for Bryan.

Funny story: I emailed a prospect who claims he was in the FBI, dark projects, reverse engineered UFOs, Discovered Atlantis in 2016, worked on a modern version of Tesla's "free energy" machine., went to the middle east as a modern day "Indiana Jones" digging up ancient relics.... etc..... With that resume his reply to my email was "Are you sure I'm a fit for your program?'

I know it was the original plan for Flair to win the title back at the Clash, or at least Flair thought it was, but I think it would have been a mistake to take the title off of Hulk after a month. You’re paying him $600k minimum per PPV, you gotta let him cook, whether the fans are cheering him or not.

Still surprises me that Hogan let WCW stick him on the Clash lead in vs Kamala a year later to avoid giving him a fat bonus for appearing on a Clash in ring.

20:53 onward is the part where the discussion about placing value in star ratings turns into something more than "I don't agree with his opinion." Right around that point, it's brought up that money drawn and actual quality aren't always shared, using the example of Avatar being the greatest movie ever made if the only criteria is income.
