Ok, so it wasn't my fault, it IS a glitch. Fuck. If 2k brings back this design team AGAIN next year, I'm going to be pissed. I let go the create a team on main, doesn't show up in universe. I figured, a hassle but whatever. But a flaw where the custom logo doesn't even SAVE? How does a design team miss that?

I think that glitch happens when you install DLC and move back to the main menu. It happened last year as well. The solution is to download/install the DLC and then quit right out of the game to the dashboard, then restart. Seriously messed up that they have yet to fix this issue.

Nah man logo save isn't saving. I tried creating one not downloading it. Created, saved the logo, shut off the game and system. Come back today? All gone and it tells me I need to create a logo file. Shit is bonkers.

That actually sounds bizarre.. I've never heard of that happening. You should check the 2K forums to see if it's a thing with the 360 version. Failing that you may need to delete and re-install your game data.

They had better iron out ALL of this shit for the first next-gen game or I am officially done.

People did that and it failed to fix the issue. I'm thinking it is tied to the dlc having a fuck up that messed them up. Or they patched one hole and made six more like they did in 12 and 13.

Yep - still there. Honestly I hope that this is just a case of 2K holding onto Yukes since the game was already 3/4 done when they picked up the license. We need a fresh new team on the development side of things for this (design side as well, actually).

True there. Man, I love the way the game runs and the little changes. But this year and year of major fuck up glitches that should be caught is stupid. I'm just assigning generic old wwe logos until it is fixed. Such bullshit because it took a day to set up everything and the thought of deleting it and it not fixing seems like it would be the biggest game in the box wait until I'm calm moments.

It had to be something they fucked up with the moves and DLC. It has a video on youtube of it happening too.

Press and hold R2 and L2 when beside grappling or standing beside an opponent who is down.

Some CAW's are Axxess exclusive. I assume you have that already?

I haven't tried #3 yet.

Through my PS3 browser, I usually C&P the YouTube link into www.listentoyoutube.com and save it to the PS3 hard drive.

Some of the CAWS if I had to guess are using exclusive content that means you need either Ultimate Warrior or the Undertaker special edition of the game to use them.

That's all I can figure out since I have everything ELSE bought and downloaded.

Man, it could just be a bug. In which case...there is still no way to fix the issue.
This design team doesn't believe in "fixing mistakes" at all.

They currently have:
The custom logo glitch, which even AFTER deleting your save doesn't fix it and has been known to cause corruption instead
The six man tag glitch, which only happens with the NWO guys apparently
The CAWs cutscene mix up glitch where the game cannot for the life of itself recognize who is supposed to be where in cutscenes it runs
The "DLC will reset your universe" design flaw that has lasted for three years - but this one MAY be out of their control, I don't know
Audio issues out the ass on the PS3 version

And those are the major ones I know of. Nothing game death like last year but not exactly minor. The logo one is REALLY a pain in the ass. However I have heard from some who said the freezing issue from last year of using a custom logo with a custom ring survived into the game. Which is just PATHETIC.

I am not hoping any of that gets fixed. These guys don't fix shit until the next game and even then, they fuck up something new and exciting. The team needs gone.

Anyone have any issues where titles aren't being defended on your brand? I have Raw, Smackdown, NXT, an indy promotion, and an old school promotion? I've had Ricky Steamboat be the IC champ of my old school roster for like 40 something weeks.

With grad school finals over I finally had time to play a bit of this game. Is the DLC worth it? I figure since I only paid like $40 for the game thanks to 2Gold's tip off, I can easily fork over the $20 for a few things. Hopefully they make the Ultimate Warrior DLC at some point.

Haven't gotten into Universe since I want to do the WrestleMania mode first, but I've never really cared for some of it because I feel like I'm just wrestling to achieve objectives. Seeing a digital Randy Savage cut a promo and some of the video packages is pretty cool, though. If they had included Hogan's wacky WrestleMania IV promo that would've made this the best game ever. It also functions as a wrestling trivia game because you have to know how the real match unfolded to get some of the hidden objectives right. I'd hate to be a seven year old playing this who has no semblance of wrestling history.

I'm also REALLY happy that they modified reversals to make them a little more difficult and that the reversal just ends the grapple sequence with a move. I hated getting into those infinite grapple reversal wars with the computer in WWE 13. This way is much more fluid. I also like how you just push guys out of sleeper holds and such now if they don't submit instead of them giving you a jawbreaker. Makes those moves less punitive for the offensive player.

It's pretty cool that one of the pay-per-view options is that you can run a King of the Ring tournament. Helps me put the KOTR back into my Universe Mode.

Had an awesome tag match last night between the Shield and the Prime Time Players. I was unaware of the hot tag feature, so when I saw that it was pretty awesome. The tag matches actually feel like tag matches this year and the AI is much more aggressive and you have to be smart about your tag strategy. The reincorporation of two counts helps the game play a lot as well. My universe has the Shield, the Prime Time Players, the Real Americans, the Internet Geeks (a team I made of Zack Ryder and Chris Jericho), Power & Glory, Big E & Mark Henry, and Money Incorporated as its feature teams. The Shield look really good with the old school WWF tag team title belts from 1996.

I'm just running two brands, with RAW and Smackdown! Bret Hart is the WWF champion on RAW with the old winged eagle belt and Vader is on Smackdown! with the old WCW championship. Triple H is the IC champ on RAW and Antonio Cesaro is the European champion on Smackdown! The tag champs just appear on both shows.

Has anyone else had a problem with your minor champions not showing up on any of the shows before a pay-per-view? I have Triple H and Antonio Cesaro as IC and European champions and they haven't shown up on Raw/Smackdown! in a month. I disabled their contending status for the world title, so I don't have a title vs. title holder feud, so should I fix that?

I have no probs with minor champs, but my tag team titles NEVER get defended (even via rivalry) unless I make the match myself.

I've let the CPU set rivalries, but it has some odd choices that have ignored the current WWE champ (The Rock) and WCW Champ (Alberto Del Rio). It has three cruddy rivalries: The Giant-Justin Gabriel (which is just a series of squashes since I just take the Giant and destroy Gabriel in 2 minutes), IRS-Doink (which makes less sense because IRS is in a team with Ted DiBiase), and Christian-Heath Slater. I could override them, but I'll just let them play out and hope that the game rebooks with the champs eventually. Failing that I'll make sure it doesn't happen again.

I had to make CPU reversals of finisher non-existent because on hard difficulty the computer was reversing my finishers all the time and stealing them. It's hard as hell to face Bret Hart at that level of difficulty because he reverses EVERYTHING.
