Anyone still have a copy of SVR 11 for the 360 and want to help me spam the online Rumble achievement? there's literally NOBODY on live playing it anymore, or at least playing the rumble mode.

I'd be up to doing it sometime. My Xbox GT is MrMuffinsLuvsU. We can try to coordinate a time if you want.

Me and my girlfriend were messing around with SVR 2011 last night, so I'm up for it since I need that achievement as well.

So apparently you can only do online vs people who have the exact same DLC as you (seriously what the fuck? Who thought this was a good idea?!)

So...if anyone wants to help me spam the Rumble achievement AND only has the free Masters DLC that came with the game....

I guess that is one plus-side of Capcom's on-disc dlc. If you face someone in SFxT who has a character or a costume that you don't, it's still there as an asset for the game to use and thus you can fight anyone.

Oh cool they "fixed" the audio so they could ignore stuff that really matters

I really wish the audio would reflect if you have a guy who is a face or a heel and not just default commentary.

I saw an Attitude Era Raw set in that footage so I'm not sure how that was ignored. I'm being dead serious about that too - they really know how to appeal to people like me this year.

I thought Austin had two knee braces this year? THQ was making a big deal about it on Facebook.

Yea, Attitude Era? Last wrestling game I'll need to buy.

I pulled out the PS2 yesterday and played some Fire Pro Returns. Had fun simulating a Survivor Series match between Hulk Hogan, Jake Roberts, Jim Duggan, and the Ultimate Warrior against Mr. Perfect, King Kong Bundy, the Honky Tonk Man, and Zeus. Hogan's team won, with he, Roberts, and Warrior as the survivors. The Honky Tonk Man was a beast to eliminate and at one point in the match he gave each member of Hogan's team a Shake, Rattle & Roll before dancing in the center of the ring.

If they wanted to make Lawler's commentary authentic, he'd make lots of Hart family jokes. Of course, he had stopped that shtick by 1997.

A new Extreme Warfare game that will be called Total Extreme Wrestling 2013 should be released somewhere around Christmas time. There should be more information released in the coming weeks, so I'll post the information in here.

I got TEW 2007 and while fun, it's so in-depth that I got tired of it after a while. I found it hard to build momentum for my characters.

Anyone play Promotion Wars a LONG time ago? I remember first finding out about it in 2001 or so, and while fun, (until I discovered EWR) it was insanely RAM consuming. My last memory of the game was the programmer hyping the holy hell out of Promotion Wars 2, then one day saying he encountered an "Out of Memory" error message and that was the end of it.

I played Promotion Wars. Looking back at it, it wasn't really close to Ryland's work.

But yeah, the problem with TEW is just how in depth you need to get with booking a show. Also, the real world mods kind of suck and a lot of fun was taking out of the games. Dirty tricks do nothing, and the AI gets away with too many cheap tactics. One of those is where they never have to change gimmicks on their wrestlers to save them from becoming stale. Then you work for that promotion and you put up crap shows for a month.

But, the fictional universe is still pretty cool, even if they made some of the promotions overpowered.
