I loved SAINTS ROW THE THIRD, it was so over the top that it was fantastic. That and driving to save Shaundi with "I need a hero" playing was one of the coolest song uses in video games.

I got why they went silly. Staying serious was getting that "straight up GTA clone" backlash. Might as well give themselves their own identity. I do hope someone gets it and maybe finds a better balance though.

The free falling from plane mission in saints row 3 was beyond epic. I loved that game.

There are really amazing versions of Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins, both by the same guy, on the PS3 Community Creations right now. They're near the top of the list that first pops up. There is a Roman Reigns, but it's by someone else and is pretty shoddy, face-wise.

Is there a glitch where Superstars that are not assigned to your brands will randomly appear on shows? One of the strangest things happened on a recent episode of Nitro, where Sheamus defeated Alberto del Rio and was beaten down by NATALYA with a pipe after the match. I was like "wtf?!?!"

As I recall from WWE 12, yes, unassigned Superstars will debut that way. This always forced me to move them to Legends.

Universe is buggy as fuck. Tag matches are a mess between the CAW randomly turning into the base model to the tag matches that will refuse to let you wrestle if you aren't controlling wrestlers. And edit rankings is a busted mess that will not acknowledge your selections and order you to make Road Dogg number one contender for the world title (bet Austin is shitting himself at that). If you tell it 7 times and have a Vince McMahon type meltdown (I SAID SID DAMMIT! SID!) they do adjust. Well except for tag, The Outlaws have decided they should forever be #1. Starting to think someone at THQ is a huge Jesse James fan.

I also love even if you edit ppvs and change them, you still get the ad announcing the one you replaced is coming up. It just makes me chuckle.

I set Vader and Austin as my world champions and for reasons I cannot explain Vader attacked Marc Mero, who is on the Raw brand, to end Clash of the Champions now renamed Clash. So what does Mero do? Get revenge on Smackdown. Both of them are heel too so I am not sure what the fuck. I guess Mero will need squashed by Vader which really builds up my number one contender for the IC title.

Maybe it is something with CAW or changing brands. I got RAW IS WAR and SMACKDOWN active and universe is really unhappy.

The only issue I've really come across from changing stuff around - and it's not a big deal, but a nitpick - is between the 3 major titles I have, the only one that gets the proper "championship entrance" and graphic is the WHC, which is being used by my least important brand (WCW Saturday Night). The 88-98 WWE Title and 98-02 WWE Title (Raw is War and Thursday Night SmackDown) are not worthy of such since they aren't default.

At least the MITB winner can challenge for them this year though.

You need to put anyone you don't want to use into the "INACTIVE" roster to prevent that.

She was in the Inactive section (where I put all the Divas and the copy wrestlers - no need to have HHH '99 square off with modern day HHH), so I was really confused about why she was even used in the first place. It definitely didn't make Sheamus look good as the champ to get his ass kicked by a woman, even if she was wielding a pipe. Makes me sort of happy that Randy Orton beat him at Unforgiven for the title.

I agree with 2GOLD that it's funny how a graphic comes up for that pay-per-view even if you change it. I switched Extreme Rules to Unforgiven and it still kept saying Extreme Rules was going to be held in 3 weeks. It also booked a ton of Extreme Rules matches despite me telling it not to. I've also had Universe just not allow me to switch attires for CAW's after I edit matches. I hit play match and after 30 minutes it still would not load. So I guess I'm stuck with Strike Force Rick Martel (who looks good and all), instead of Arrogance Rick.

I did laugh at a good looking Ric Flair I downloaded. He's announced as "The Natural Boy."

Road Dogg is also getting a lot of love in my game. He was a top contender for the Intercontinental title, lost a triple threat at Unforgiven after taking the pin in a match against Ken Shamrock and the Miz (chamion), but he's STILL number one contender despite that and the Miz losing the belt to Shamrock. Universe Mode must not believe in immediate rematch clauses.

Ok, so I figured out the tag match whatever it is
Let's say you decide you want a tag match of Undertaker and Kane against Rock and Austin with Kane and Rock in the ring at the start. Whatever you do, and I don't know if this applies to outside of universe, but do not select to be the man on the outside. So in that match if you choose to be Undertaker or Austin, you will not be wrestling. When the tag happens, even if you have it set to control partners, you will still only control the man on the outside of the ring for the whole match.

I'm still trying to figure out if this is a glitch or if it is some button I need to press. If it is a bug, it has the extreme easy work around of being if I pick to be the guy who starts in the ring, it doesn't happen so if it is a glitch, it's minor. I'm just trying to find out if it is a button I'm missing because it is feeling like it has to be a button.

I've had that same issue as well. I haven't figured out a way around it, so I think it's a bug/glitch.

The only bug that has gotten on my nerve the most has been the one count glitch. I also find that many of the matches are way too easy for me, even on the highest difficulty level. I've just been simulating matches, which have been pretty good and they flow well. I never feel like I'm ever on the verge of losing, though, so that takes some of the fun out of things.

I haven't had the one count bug. People have been kicking out for me at two. Not very close two counts but two counts are happening.

Re: Saints Row The Third, I loved the game, it just had some major flaws that I'd like see fixed. I didn't care for the three gangs just being different heads of the same organization. And I didn't like the you got the side quests from your own gang, half the fun for 1 and 2 was running into the crazy townspeople who wanted you go to blow shit up for them.

Most of the minigames in The Third just came across as "Here's a thing to do that's wacky!" where SR2 had you pretending to be a cop for a reality show with slipping ratings because as a not-actually-a-cop you were free to do things like beat steroid-addled maniacs with baseball bats and cut people down with chainsaws to increase ratings. It was just as wacky but it had an explanation to it that actually made some sense.

Looks like I need to download a Kama since alternate thread plus CAW means CAW becomes base model for match. I hope that gets patched. Hell hope all the bugs get patched.

Seriously the first person I've seen who didn't like that game.

To be honest, while I loved the gameplay (especially the random wrestling moves you could pull on people) I really disliked everything else. The sandbox element was gutted, everyone from the previous games either died or completely changed characters,* and the whole storyline had a lazy feel. It was a major step down from SR2 for me.

*except Pierce, bless the man.

I thought I unlocked everything in Attitude Era mode (btw, it's kinda weak that you unlock Eddie Guerrero by squashing him in under two minutes), yet there's still one portion that's locked. It's in between the timeline and the video archive. What is it?

I've been simulating some matches in my Universe and it's been somewhat interesting. I started a tag division because I was getting bored with some of the singles titles and just had Kofi/R-Truth with the belts. For some reason it wouldn't let me put Kofi and Jinder Mahal together, which the Universe was doing, but it's fine.

John Cena beat CM Punk for the WWE title at Extreme Rules and now he and Punk are buddies and feuding with the Brothers of Destruction. Bret Hart and Shawn Michaels are feuding in the midcard on WWF Primetime Wrestling (my Monday show with a cool 1995 arena that I downloaded). Steve Austin is also feuding with Ken Shamrock over the Intercontinental title. On WCW Pro Wrestling (using a WCW Saturday Night arena that has a nice gritty feel) Randy Orton is the champ but hasn't really wrestled. Sheamus has just been plowing through Daniel Bryan and the Big Show. Unfortunately, this probably will create an Orton-Sheamus rematch at Over the Edge. Aside from that, nothing much is happening in WCW aside from random matches that Yoshi Tatsu keeps getting booked in.

I've had fun designing some entrances for some custom guys I downloaded. I didn't bother putting music into my PS3 yet, but they have some good tunes available. Canadian Patriot worked well for Strike Force. I gave the Ultimate Warrior AJ's theme, which goes quite well. I mean it's not badass like his rock theme, but since his entrance has lots of fireworks "light it up" seemed appropriate.
