I think it's more likely that they're using it as a buffer for the Netflix move of the archives. I can't see Mid-South being on Netflix, for example, but I could see them dropping an official Territories channel down the line.

I think that if the WWE Network moves to Netflix, then they SHOULD include Mid-South to their server, as well. Mid-South is one of (if not my all-time) favorite territories.

It sucks that he'll be out and missing a Mania payday but I don't think anyone really wanted a KO/Orton match.
Like I said earlier here it has to be bad enough that he can’t just work a typical Owens match.
I feel if it wasn’t Orton, he would just work another garbage match but Orton is rightfully gonna brother him out on that idea.
Orton is absolutely figured into something important with the next PPV in Saint Louis being promoted around him so they will find something for him to do at Mania, maybe slot him into the already crowded US title scene or give him one of the re-debuts such as Rusev or Black.

It's absolutely unfair that she is compared to Ric when, under any real life and meaningful metric, she is so superior that it isn't arguable. She's not a nice person and no one likes her, but she hasn't done a fifth of the horrible things Ric has.
That segment was awesome, though. I'm actually super impressed with Stratton rolling with things and not being rattled. It's a sad state of affairs when wrestlers going off script in a promo is what the drama is, though.

That sort of stuff was welcomed in the Attitude era but in the super corporate WWE, that kind of thing is punished especially if a top guy gets his feelings hurt.

The Netflix cross promotion has gone way overboard for the promotion as a whole, obviously Netflix invested a lot in Tony Hinchcliffe, so naturally he would show up here.
One of the biggest reasons they paid so much for WWE rights is because of the cross promotional opportunities.
Of course, Raw has always had in network cross promotion and so does AEW and every other wrestling promotion that ever existed but it’s every week now and while sometimes it’s fun like the Culkins showing up and everyone likes them and then you get acts like Tony Hinchcliffe or Schultz which is very divisive (as you can tell here) and it doesn’t add much value to the show and probably the network.
Networks will always have questionable people on wrestling shows to promote things for the most obvious reasons and in many cases, the promotion won’t care because it isn’t polarizing enough or they are aligned.
Sometimes you’ll have extreme right comedians with stand up specials and sometimes you have rapists with a game show, sometimes they just might be the same person!

Rock's theme still has the '98 Nation of Domination basic undertones, bass line? I'm not a music major but it still keeps the basic Nation beat.
Anyway, EXCLUDING wrestlers who just used the same theme for years and years (Michaels, HHH, Taker, Austin, even Vince, etc.) is this permutation of an entrance theme the longest-lasting and most times we've seen an old one get modified and upgraded?

It's a fine way to acknowledge some of the lesser known stars of the territories from decades back but it's become a lazy way to spotlight individuals who deserve an actual induction (Luna, Gary Hart).
