WWE in 2026

Ciampa posted that he is finishing up in WWE in other contract news. Given how broken down he is, I don't know if he really has a spot in anywhere bigger than TNA.

He's saying he wants to actively wrestle for another 10 years. I wonder if they tried to keep him as an agent, though. Isn't he one of Paul's golden boys?

Adam Cole was a golden boy too.

Ciampa is the kinda guy who will never be gone unless he straight jumps. If anything TNA is the best bet so he's just paid less to be on NXT whenever they want.

Ciampa a decade ago was one of my favorites on the indies. He stood out by having an actual personality. The feud with Gargano in NXT is the only time Gargano was ever worth watching.

If he goes to TNA, he needs to be rehabbed and go back to being the "psycho killer" again. But it's TNA so he'll squash Santana for the World title and be booked to lose to someone from NXT in a week.

I hadn't seen Cody in a while and it looks like he skinned Dusty and is wearing his face.

an openly gay woman whose been vocal about her opposing political viewpoints from the company brass isn’t with this company anymore on the same day that her very famous relative and most important talent made critical remarks regarding the shitty creative?

wild.

Obviously the main issue is the human rights abuses that already happened. But I’d still be worried about the safety of a stadium that was built in weeks. Odds are there will be no incidents but I would not be comfortable attending a show in that stadium.

Speaking as someone who actually watches NXT on a fairly regular basis, I would just like to say that it doesn’t matter why Ava is gone, it only matters that she is gone. She was a total no talent that never would have had that job in a million years if not for her Father, who just so coincidentally happened to be the Chairman of the WWE Board.

I love a good anti-WWE conspiracy theory just as much as the next guy, but believe me when I tell you, Ava was fucking awful. She couldn’t cut it as a Wrestler, so they made her a Manager/Valet and she stunk at that, so they made her GM. I don’t care if she’s gay, I don’t care if she hates Trump and I don’t care who her family is or what they say. She was the 21st Century equivalent of Erik Watts.

Liv Morgan won the women's Rumble. Roman Reigns won the men's.

Powerhouse Hobbs (under his new name Royce Keys) debuted in the Rumble.

I don’t follow WWE aside from clips of things I find interesting (Kit Wilson was sadly not in the Rumble but Mr Iguana and the newest gen LaParka was) but I do have a VPN and Netflix and afternoon shows are easier than late nights.

I legit didn’t know 17-18/30 in the woman’s rumble

Did enjoy the Oba dominance and Brock interactions, despite never seeing an Oba match

NXT is so far off my radar I didn’t even realize Rock’s daughter was even still there.

I made food for my kid during the Sami/Drew match so didn’t really see it

Could see them running out this thing longer for Sami to win at SaudiMania next year

AJ took his gloves off to leave them in the ring, then didn’t. Put ‘em back on and up to the crowd.

Makes him switching to saying “end my WWE career” over the past few weeks make sense?

TNA run? He looked at Kaz’s title on the AMC premiere.

AEW one or two shot at like at Forbidden Door (Samoa Joe) but would love him and Osprey as well.

I'm guessing Jericho didn't return to WWE tonight. I guess we'll have to wait for a while longer to find out about Jericho's future.

Maybe they'll bring him back on an episode of Monday Night Raw?

Yea I was expecting him and Joe Hendry at least and hoping for Kit Wilson. The countdown would have been an appropriate reintroduction for Jericho, I was imagining a Y2J clock countdown into Judas

Bad break for Bron Breakker. He had a serious hernia requiring surgery and will be out a few weeks.

Meltz says the mania card is in limbo now because advances for the show are not as good as last year. There is heat on Hunter for his booking.

Punk/Roman is only thing set in stone

I'm liking the idea that there are very real reasons (cost, politics, lame product) but they will blame on something exponentially stupid instead.

I believe Meltzer said that he's really 41 which is 5 or 6 years older than had been previously reported. Which isn't a big deal but people are using it to explain his injury history and why he wanted to jump to WWE etc.

They're now giving away promo codes for discounted tickets. Really interested in what the numbers are now.

If they can't make goonbucks for Liv/Vaquer they deserve to fail.

As of yesterday, WrestleTix had it at 37,799 for Saturday and 37,654 for Sunday. They’re about 7,500 tickets per night behind where they were with the same number of days until the show last year.

if you wanted to feel old, here’s a factoid.

Je’von Evans (born 2004), who isn’t urban enough for Big Sexy Kevy Nash, has qualified for the upcoming Elimination Chamber match is younger than the match concept itself, which originated in 2002.

Bets on EVIL's new name? Will it be something like SINISTER, or will Paul go the old racist foreigner trope a la Vince and name him Hirohito Jr?
