Looks like I'm in a 3-person KOTR this time around.

Also not all that jazzed about AJ and Ziggler being the MITB cards. I'll take them, sure, but I think I've got right arrow overkill, to the point where getting Corbin is a tempting proposition.

I could care less about the Ziggler but I dig the card of AJ with the belt. Not sure if I will get to it. I bought Sami I early when I had a ton of contracts early but then burnout caused me to barely get him. Guessing I will be burned out before completing AJ still but getting one could be a nice loyalty card for S3 if they do it again and if I opt to play.

I think the new MITB cards are ugly as fuck, so I'll be saving my contracts for the next set.

So this is what the blog says:

Three new tiers. Over 100 new cards. And all the personality you can handle.

Starting with the launch of Season 3 this November, we’re introducing three new card tiers to the core game that you can collect and play across all of S3’s modes and events. Combined across the tiers, we’re adding over 100 new cards with Season 3 — and that’s not counting what we’ll add through events and new card tiers as S3 progresses.

Each of these new tiers will have branded cards from all three major WWE brands: Smackdown LIVE, RAW, and NXT. Thematically, we really attacked this with the cards’ new graphical effects. RAW cards, for example, have flowing fire effects that we think evokes the brand’s intensity. Smackdown and NXT cards have their own theatrics, too, that we think draws on what those brands are all about.

So, what are the new tiers? Here you go.

Hardened, featuring up-and-coming Superstars in addition to other top talent
Elite, featuring a cast of the WWE’s savviest veterans as well as other memorable Superstars and Legends
Ultimate, featuring the best of the best of the current roster

Basically, we have jobbers, midcarders and main eventers that are Season 3 exclusive, but they don't exactly tell us how the S2 cards will equate.

Actually won an all people KOTR tonight when I realized I was going in tonight. Rewards were SS Baron Corbin (single) and my third WM Charlotte.

I've spaced out of the game so much I haven't even been doing my MITB bouts, will see if the new stuff re-sparks the interest.

On another note the other day I came across another card game based on Fox animated shows called Animation Throwdown, it's more Magic/Hearthstone-esque than SuperCard but it uses cards from Family Guy, American Dad, King of the Hill, Futurama and Bob's Burgers, no Simpsons though

Yeah, I played that for like a week or so sometime last month. It was fun, but the stupid simplicity of Supercard is what keeps bringing me back. I don't have to think about shit, just tap and it pretty much wins itself.

I actually do like the strategy games - I have Ascension and Ticket to Ride on my mobile - but I usually save those for when I'm on the subway to work and cut off from data.

It looks like my half of the playoff bracket is all bots. Hopefully I have a clear path to the finals.

Finished second in the finals. Will find out what I get when I wake up. Also won $60 betting on the Falcons, so a good day all around.

Still kinda bored with it but going through the event. I had been 1st place in a minimal effort KOTR but forgot to energize for semi-finals and lost... get a couple WM to feed soon I guess.

After getting the SS ADR to make another pro during Team play this week I was surprised to pull a 3rd SS Miz during this regular event. About 100 points away from Big E, which is the slowest I've done RTG in this tier outside the first event, I think.

I'm about 160 out from Sasha, so I'm in good shape there. My fusion got me Asuka #2, just in time for S3.

Congrats on Asuka. I got one of her in my third chamber last time. Chamber 4 opens tomorrow morning.

I am hoping to get Sasha because I'd like to use her if they do Loyalty Chamber Season 3 like they did for Season 2.

Good you finally got someone new. I was Vince, Shinsuke, Asuka, Shinsuke. Hoping for second Vince or Asuka next, though I only have one WM left after starting a new one this morning and it's my Vince which I still kinda use with my SS Vince.

My guess was over the weekend when I saw the start time for Ring Domination. Didn't realize it was a flash event and figured it was an early start for the whole thing.

SS Fusion #5 was Shinsuke #3 - that's really disappointing.

They are shutting down KOTRs for a few days to "clear the queue" for Season 3 - while I am excited to see the new cards, I really think all this transition stuff reminds me of the grimier parts of this game and piles on the burnout. Like, I know the purpose of all games are money making and maybe that its because I've never really played any of this "freemium" stuff before but this all just feels like cash grab after cash grab and I'm kinda tired of it. Especially because there is no variety to the game because as soon as event cards get released, you either have that card or you lose (or you have it and still lose to that same card).
