Update 2 Release Notes
2K today announced new content for WWE® SuperCard, the larger-than-life, action-packed WWE collectible card game for mobile devices. With a significant update available now for download on iOS and Android devices, WWE SuperCard adds more than 60 new cards, 24 new in-ring animations and a new “Survivor” rarity level, boosting the game’s extensive array of collectible content to offer additional replay value. WWE SuperCard also increases card limits and improves reward drops, enabling fans to quickly climb the ranks as they take their ultimate WWE SuperCard roster to new heights.
Key features in the latest WWE SuperCard update include:
• New “Survivor” Rarity Level: More powerful than Legendary, this new card rarity is a permanent addition to the game and gives WWE SuperCard a total of eight card rarity levels;
• 60+ New Cards: Featuring WWE Superstars John Cena, Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson and more, as well as new Manager Support cards and WWE® 2K15-themed cards, WWE SuperCard adds to its array of collectible content;
• New Animations: Watch 24 new in-ring moves when cards compete against one another;
• Rebalanced Rewards and Improved Drop Rates: Players now have an increased chance of receiving higher tier cards from the draft board when completing exhibition matches;
• Higher Card Limits: The Energy card limit now increased to 10, while cards featuring WWE Superstars, Divas and Legends have increased to 110;
• New Languages: WWE SuperCard now offers support in Russian and Portuguese;
• Key Improvements: Players will notice an improved People’s Champion Challenge rewards screens, improved Card Catalog performance and minor bug fixes.
Additional Notes:
• A couple of major changes were done in King of the Ring rewards and the Exhibition Game Draft board. We found that the effort to win a KotR was not commensurate with the rewards vs. spending time playing Exhibition Games. To shift the balance of the rewards around, and to adequately reward players of Exhibition Games a few changes were made:
1. A new drop rate system has been implemented for the board. Previously, the board was completely random in determining whether a card would be above the Rare rarity. This resulted in some players having good luck and getting great cards in a small number of pulls. Players that had bad luck may have still not pulled a great card after thousands of games. This system has been replaced with a new semi-random system. Every reset card that is pulled still has a chance to be the top card in your tier. Additionally, after a certain amount of play at each tier you’re guaranteed a drop in your tier. Once you pull the top card from your tier the amount of play until you’re guaranteed a drop of that tier is reset.
2. The drop chance for all tiers of cards above Rare has been increased. This includes the chance to pull cards in a lower tier once you get in Ultra Rare and up. For example, if I am in the Super Rare tier my chance to get a Super Rare is greater than it was before the update. As I advance tiers and I get to the Ultra Rare tier, not only will I get Ultra Rare cards (see #1 above), but my chances of getting a Super Rare card also increases.
3. Since the Exhibition Game will provide more rewards than before, King of the Ring rewards will no longer include Pro cards.
The net effect of these changes is that players will find it easier to get a better deck by playing Exhibition Games, KotR will still provide good rewards for the time invested, and players have multiple avenues for progression.
• The new Survivor Rarity of cards are better than Legendary cards. Previous People’s Champion Challenge cards (and their Pro versions) are not of the Survivor Rarity and remain the top of the Legendary cards. However, Survivor cards will likely beat single Legendary PCC cards, and Pro Survivor cards will likely beat Pro Legendary PCC cards. Future PCC events will have PCC cards in the Survivor level rarity and will be the top cards of the new tier. Past PCC cards are Legendary rarity and will remain so.

I like that I can keep 10 energy cards but I was a little bummed before reading that because the first Survivor I pulled was a support.

It is a Bobby Heenan which is +28 to deck in Toughness and Speed but I've sucked at King of the Ring for a while now because I had not pulled a quality Diva card since Super Rare.

I actually won my first King of the Ring in a while last night. I started it the day of the tier change, so it was just a Legendary one, instead of Survivor.

Now instead of the pair, I got two random Legendary, which dealt me one I already had gotten to Pro and a single Stone Cold, which I have no use for.

Was so frustrated with the lousy prize from winning, I started the next tournament without putting my Survivor Support card in the damn deck. So I am going to be screwed for a long while now. My deck is back to being pretty weak for my tier and no hope for getting better soon. The rushed in tournament had me at 0-7 when I looked this morning.

Was dinking around in my Ultra + tier, kept getting Toughness Boosts, or Rares to reset the board, then in a series of ten won games and lucky card picking got 3 UR (Rey Mysterio, Ambrose and a support) cards.

Increased drop rate FTW!

When I went in tonight to claim my reward from the Ziggler-Harper People's Champion, there was a graphic announcing the release of the new game mode they've been hyping (stating it will require 20 cards)

It will be called Road to Glory and it launches on Christmas this Thursday.

They showed an image of a Surfer Sting card, which I am guessing will be a reward. Details from 2KForums:

What’s New?
• Brand-new SuperCard Event Series, the Road to Glory! - Jump on the path to immortality with this all-new series of regularly scheduled mega-events. Put your best 20 cards into an all-out rumble, defeating increasingly difficult Superstars to win their cards. The further along the Road to Glory you get in the limited window of time, the more amazing the reward. PLAY TO WIN!
• Diva tag team matches have arrived and now appear in Road to Glory matches! Divas now have allegiances and will have tag team preferences on their cards.
• Raised the card cap to 120 cards.
• Minor bug fixes

Additional Notes:

• Road to Glory Basics: In a Road to Glory event, players begin at the Common rarity level and take on a series of increasingly difficult WWE Superstars. They will choose from a list of opponents with varying difficulties and whose decks have the rating of the Superstars. Each Road to Glory game uses a deck consisting of 22 cards (16 Superstars, four Divas and two Support) for both the player and opponent. A round begins when four cards are dealt to both the player and opponent. Players select cards they would like to play, and the highest stat total wins and gains a point. The player with the most points after four rounds wins the game;

• Road to Glory Rewards: The winning player of each Road to Glory game receives points toward defeating the Superstar and six board picks, while losing players receive no points and three board picks. After a player gains the required points to defeat a Superstar, he or she is awarded a card at the rarity level of that Superstar, as well as progression to move forward and face a Superstar at the next rarity level. The further along the Road to Glory players get in the limited window of time, the more gratifying the rewards;

• Enter the Ring with Bouts: Players use Bouts to play Road to Glory matches. A player can hold up to five Bouts at one time. Once spent, a Bout regenerates every 15 minutes. A player may also purchase either a single Bout or a full refill of Bouts;

• Titles Matches: Title Matches are used to increase the number of points you win in a match, just like in People’s Champion Challenges. You can now hold up to 250 Title Matches. There are 4 different packs of Title Matches available for purchase.

• Tag Team Diva Matches: Divas tag team matches have arrived and also appear in Road to Glory matches. Divas will also now form alliances and have tag team preferences on their cards;

• Higher Card Limits: Road to Glory raises a player’s overall card limit to 120 cards;

• First Event: Sting leads off the the first Road to Glory event beginning December 23rd with the Pre-Game. Pre-game will show you the rewards available and give you time to setup your Road to Glory deck. You can begin playing on December25th. The event will end at 6pm, PST on December 28th.

So after the RTG event the game has pretty much become unplayable at upper levels as all you encounter is Stings and that's it. I mean why not just make a Sting diva card and complete the set. Couple that with guys inserting commons to lower their level and it's become boring.

The Sting is in tons of decks but 8 times out of 10, the AI will draw it first.

I got both Stings but have yet to combine them until I get some more Survivor pros, so I am holding my own.

Deck I am running with now is PP Leg Rock, PP Leg Undertaker, RTG Sting, RTG Sting and PP Surv Tamina.

I've been nosed out in my last two King of the Ring attempts due to not getting to check often but I've been ranking alright in the PCC right now.

Also, Road to Glory and People's Champion are expanding out bi-weekly, so seeing PCC is for Rock/Austin this week (which is not as close as I expected), Road to Glory is going to be next week. So I would think/hope people start even out decks with these events.

Wish I was able to get RTG Stings but other than my main 5 and a couple other decent cards my 20 card line-up was pretty poor since in the past I would use cards I didn't need anymore in exhibition/kotr to level up my new better ones, and due to that I couldn't even make it by Legendary Rowan card, but been working on building that up more so for the next one I should be able to make it.

I'm good with this. Wondered why there was no higher level Flair, obviously they are going to push Roman.

I actually am sitting on a lone Epic Macho and a lone Epic Nattie, so that will give me two more pros.

That's a Legendary Nattie actually, and unless something happens with a lucky pull on the board between now and RTG, it looks like that will become my first Legendary Pro.

That's what I meant, Legendary Nattie.

I have one already. I already have a Survivor Pro Tamina and Legendary Pro Brie but I am going to get my solo one ready because if I build that up, should help me in RtG.

It's not just the one Sting. If it was that red survivor Sting then it wouldn't be a problem because with the right support you can still defeat it. The problem is those other two blue survivor Sting cards. I mean good luck defeating if they were combined and turned pro.

Smart guys though didn't combine them because if you have those and insert a couple commons in your deck then you will pretty much steam roll through most people using the three Stings. Then if you have a decent diva card you could just keep the two blue ones and say a legendary pro diva and have two other commons in your deck and hang around in the lower portion of the survivor or higher portion of legendary++ and earn easy wins.

...Or a lucky draw from KOTR. Just got my second Legendary King Bookah, so he'll be getting pro'd soon!

Finally got this on Christmas since I got an Android tablet. I enjoy it and actually won a KOTR the second time out (and finished in the quarterfinals the first time out) but at some point I just won't get much farther because I rarely have more than 10 minutes at a time to play it.

I'm disappointed because I keep having zero luck with the King of the Ring.

I had been getting booted early from just missing stuff and not even qualifying. I just got the two seed but got paired up against some stacked guy who slept in all tournament. He is loaded with all the People's Champion cards. So I am getting knocked in round one.

I am stuck with another Legendary that I will do nothing with because I am loaded on Legendary but in desperate need of Survivor cards.

I pulled a single Survivor Hot Rod this morning, so I have single Surfer Sting, Yokozuna, Batista, Classic Y2J and now Piper but I am going to continue to do nothing til I can get more of those Survivor level cards...

King of the Ring starting to tick me off. Been dominant 3 seed. First round match one just ended and I am down already. I'm gonna be stuck in this limbo til get Survivor cards but no matter what I do, can't get out of first round.

the Sting cards on the holiday was like, "FUCK YOU IGNORE YOUR FAMILY" and I was like "NO. FUCK U"

now I've got the time to play this shit and the prize is Roman Reigns??!

WWE super trolling me. I did get a random epic HHH the other day, all in his suit and being bossy

I'll echo something I said before, needs more divas. Why is there not a Legendary Mae Young already yet? Or a uncommon Jazz?

They added more Divas to Survivor but they really do nothing against AJ or the Bellas. Only one from past included was Eve Torres.

I did get screwed in first round. It went three games but I don't have legit team (all my best cards have same blue or same yellow, none that compliment) which the AI called for every game. This guy had shit Divas, which is my best card behind Sting. If they called one Divas match in three games, I'd get a Survivor. Instead, I remain stuck. Got a Legendary Edge, which I never had so no pro possibility, kinda worthless for now...

This new Road to Glory is horseshit.

I get the concerns the Sting was too easy but now they made this one too hard. I got through the Nattie tier not just without losing games but basically not losing matches. Against all +5 opponents. Suddenly in the Flair tier, I can't win at all. I'm stuck at 17 points til Flair and even in the 3 point games, feel like the AI sets me up to fail.

Once again, stuck til I get more Survivors. Have my next KOTR ending this morning, I'm locked in 3rd, can't wait to see what lower seed knocks me in the first round for trash rewards again...

Guess I won't be getting much further then, just a little over halfway to Nattie and already running into losing matches.

I don't know if they did anything to make it harder so much as people have been building up better 20 cards since last time so there's more with tougher decks this time around.

It may be a little of both but I read on some site that the developers did insist they made it harder, after too many complaints. I ended up getting Flair and have 13 points toward the first Roman. Even with so much time, I don't see getting him with how ridiculous even the low point matches are becoming.

I did feed one of my Epic pros to Flair and managed to make it to Round 2 in that KOTR, where I was given a Survivor DiBiase, which I hear is one of the worst ones to get.

The Epic is Razor and the Legendary is Hogan if that helps at all. I have singles of both of those, so that means a couple pros for me (though Razor will just be to complete the catalog and fed, as I've fed all my Epics to bigger cards recently).

I wound up being dumb and buying some credits and grinding a ton of 2 points matches to get Roman. Had the first one when it was time to enter a new KOTR, so he is seperate for now but I acquired a couple more Legendary cards that made pairs during Road to Glory by getting Cena and Batista.

My current KOTR squad is Team of Cena/Rock Legendary Pros (my first true team), Pro RTG Sting, Single Max RTG Reigns and Pro Survivor Tamina.

Bench is a second Legendary pro Rock teamed with Legendary Pro Kane, Legendary Pro Big Show, Legendary Pro Undertaker and Legendary Pro Brie Bella.

Still hurting for Survivor cards. All mine are maxed as of now. Only pairs are the RTG Sting and the Tamina, though I should finish the Reigns shortly (will have the other single maxed by then and then thinking of feeding my Epic pro Brie to it, though she is my fourth for RTG card, I'd have to probably run with my solo Legendary AJ in the 4th slot if I dump her, which is a couple hundred behind). In singles I have Yokozuna, Classic Y2J, Batista, Rowdy Roddy Piper, Ted DiBiase and Ric Flair.

I already fed my Epic Razor to some other card and I don't have a Leg Hogan to pro with so...yeah I just don't have the energy to care about another RTG this quick

Meh, I like the RTG just cause I can level up my cards faster rather than playing exhibition matches. This one only the legendary Hogan interests me just cause I don't see myself getting a survivor card unless they tweaked things again.
