Gaming With GADD – Special Announcement

Hey guys, I’m just going to cut directly to the chase here:  there won’t be any more GADDs on this site for a while.  As long time GADD readers know, my job often sends me on the road, and when I’m on the road I’m regularly working 72+ hours a week, so I don’t have time to even play games, let alone write about them.  Well, last Thursday I got a phone call from my job saying I needed to go back on the road again.  The job starts on Wednesday, but I had a few days of getting ready and then I left early so I could hang out with a friend in the area before I started working, so there wasn’t really any games played even this week.  From what I’ve been told, it sounds like I’ll be on the road until at least the end of October, with the possibility of it being the rest of the year entirely.  So while I don’t know exactly how long GADD will be gone for, it doesn’t seem like it will be a short break.  There’s been talk about there maybe being another gaming column coming in to take GADD’s place, in the same vein of a blog style about what’s been getting played lately (although likely written in a much better style) so stick around for that to get your gaming fix.  In the meantime, thanks everybody for reading, and hopefully you’ll come back whenever GADD returns.
