Victoria is up on the block and is the most likely person to be evicted this week unless something drastic happens. Big Brother is down to five people. Four of them are guys who have been working together for several weeks. Now that all of their enemies have been eliminated, Victoria has outlived her usefulness to them. Derrick does have a final two deal with Victoria. But he also has a final two deal with Cody, and would rather keep someone around who can win competitions. Victoria was oddly confident though for someone in her tenuous position.
To a lesser extent, Cody has also done other people’s bidding. With him being on the block, he now realizes that he’s the low man on the totem pole. His fears aren’t helped when Caleb tells him that the thought crossed his mind to send him home. Caleb’s reasoning was that he would be guaranteed to make the final three since Victoria had no chance of beating any of the guys. When Cody told Derrick, Derrick considered backdooring Caleb if he won the veto. Frankie was also ok with Cody going home if something crazy happened, although he didn’t say that to anyone.
Since there were only five people left, everyone was able to compete in the veto competition. This game was called “BB Freak Show”. Each person competed one at a time in the backyard. In this game, six different freak show acts were shown. Each one was a mashup of three different houseguests faces (and they all looked freaky, to say the least). The contestants had to identify all three houseguests that comprised each act. The person who completed all six acts in the fastest time won.
Victoria knew she had to win, but finished with the worst time of 17 minutes, 18 seconds. Cody’s time was 12:14, while Caleb’s was 8:39. Derrick put up a great time of 6:17, but Frankie bested him, winning the power of veto with a time of 5:54. At that moment, Cody was really regretting not using his week as HOH to take out Frankie.
Despite Team America being down a man, the missions still continued. This time, Derrick and Frankie had to wear down the competition by convincing them that a rodent was in the house. They had to keep everyone up for 24 hours to complete the mission. The problem was that the house had just been cleaned. When Jeff visited Big Brother, he said that the house stank, so the houseguests finally went to work on cleaning the place up.
It was time for Team America to put their acting skills to work. Frankie, ever the thespian, screamed like a girl. Derrick wasn’t quite as convincing, but he feigned fear well enough. It worked, as everyone else in the house bought it. Cody and Victoria were freaked out over the prospect of a rat being in the house. Silly Caleb went into beast mode again, setting up a makeshift trap to nab the rodent. When Victoria was getting tired, Derrick convinced her to stay up until the 24-hour period passed. Team America’s task was completed, getting them back in the winner’s circle.
Frankie still had to decide what to do with the veto. He knew he was a target because of his strong performances in competitions. He wondered if he should save Victoria, which would guarantee that a guy went home. At the veto meeting though, he decided not to used the POV. Cody and Victoria were disappointed, but were going to continue to fight. Little did everyone know, the BB Rewind was soon going to make them start the current week all over again.
