After losing HOH status, Nicole “disappeared” then reappeared wearing a silly frog costume as punishment (but looked cute anyways). She was happy that Donny won Battle of the Block, but was concerned that putting him up would cost her in the future. Jocasta was even worse off after the block competition. She was dealing with stomach problems beforehand. After competing under the hot sun, she felt even more ill and started vomiting.
Caleb told Amber that he threw the competition. Amber wasn’t happy as she didn’t want him to do that. She’s worried that he thinks she owes him something. Despite Caleb’s constant flirtation with her, Amber doesn’t have feelings for Caleb like that. Now, Caleb is feeling irritated because Cody and Amber are friendly with each other. Cody is worried that he could be a target of Caleb’s because of that. Cody went to Derrick to discuss getting rid of Caleb in case Devin didn’t end up on the block. He viewed it as perhaps the only good chance to eliminate him.
Finally, Team America was set to spread the rumor out that Zach was BB15 alum Amanda’s cousin. Donny told Nicole, who told Christine. Derrick told Caleb, who told Amber. After Team America told Zach about the rumor, he went along with it and told others he was Amanda’s cousin. That was enough to satisfy the terms of the first Team America mission.
Since Jocasta was still sick, she couldn’t participate in the veto competition. Besides Derrick and Caleb, the other competitors were Christine, Devin, and Donny. Derrick talked to Donny to gauge where his head was at, but Donny wasn’t willing to give away his game strategy.
During this power of veto competition, players challenged other players to tumbling dice matches. Everyone was contained inside a six-sided dice. After randomly spinning a number, the objective was to roll until that number was face-up at the original starting point.
Christine was picked first and she decided to challenge Devin. The number to get was four, and Devin was able to finish first. Derrick was up next and he also challenged Devin. The goal number was two this time. Derrick was only a couple of moves away from winning, but caught brain lock at the last moment. Devin survived another round.
Donny was up and was also going up against Devin. Donny had the three, four, and five routes figured out, but the wheel rolled a six. But it didn’t matter, as he figured it out and finally eliminated Devin from the veto competition. The entire house was ecstatic. There was still more to play for however, as Donny and Caleb faced off in the last round. The number to get was a two. Donny was determined to defeat another strong competitor, and he did just that, winning power of veto.
No one knew was Donny was going to do with that power. Donny reassured his friend Jocasta that he would save her. Devin was crestfallen after the competition, knowing that his time in the Big Brother house could be up. During the veto meeting, Donny kept his word and used the power of veto on Jocasta. Derrick, to no one’s surprise, chose Devin as the replacement. The wheels have been set in motion for Devin to get the boot, but seeing as this is Big Brother, you never know what will happen.
