Living In Reality – Free Agents Week 7

Aneesa was not the only person irritated by the Laurel/Jordan relationship. Seeing them also made Johnny Bananas’ stomach turn. Jonna was a wistful about it, seeing as she had a bit of a relationship with Jordan during Rivals II.

The clue about the next challenge led everyone to believe that it was going to be an eating competition. Some were dreading it, especially considering that these things rarely end well. Others embraced the opportunity though, thinking that they might have a better shot at eating than any type of physical competition.

The next challenge was called Sausage Party, but it turned out to have nothing to do with eating. Everyone got wrapped up tightly like sausages and rolled through an obstacle course. Along the way, they rolled across a makeshift grill, various condiments, and finished by rolling onto a bun.

During the girls’ heat, Laurel Cara Maria got out in front, while everyone else struggled. Cara freaked out a bit from being tied up, but managed to make a close race of it. Laurel almost lost when she had a hard time rolling onto the bun, which was several inches high. She was finally able to roll on it and win, however.

A couple of the guys had interesting strategies when it was their turn. LeRoy mentioned earlier that he would rather go in the draw than risk being voted into the elimination round. So, he hung way back and finished last. Jordan was also willing to go into the draw. He could conserve energy that way, plus, he didn’t want to be subjected to a vote if the wrong guy won. As far as the actual competitors were concerned, Johnny from Portland barely edged out Zach to win. Zach also ran into trouble with the bun at the end. Afterwards he had a bit of a panic attack from being tied up.

Laurel was debating between Aneesa and Theresa as to who she would vote for. Aneesa stated her case about being tough in eliminations and that maybe someone new should be up for elimination. Laurel didn’t buy her sales pitch. Aneesa got voted in.

Johnny knew that his buddy Jordan wanted to take out Johnny Bananas, so the voting part was easy enough. The problem was what if someone else pulled the kill card. Some of the guys suggested that Jordan flip over all the cards to guarantee him a shot against Bananas. Jordan was prepared to do this, but also considered the possibility of his plan not working. Laurel gave him the confidence to stick with his guns though.

Wrecking Wall was the elimination round once again. People wondered if Jordan would still make his bold move considering the lack of one hand may set him at a disadvantage. But Jordan stepped right up to the cards and turned them all over. It was certainly a ballsy move, one that would either make him the biggest badass or the biggest idiot.

On the other side, Jonna was the unfortunate girl to pick the kill card. She had won Wrecking Wall before though, so perhaps she was the favorite to win. The girls went first. Aneesa used her strength to quickly punch holes through the wall. She made her way up the wall and rang the bell, beating a good competitor in Jonna by a fairly large margin.

Now it was time for the real show to start. Johnny Bananas and Jordan started out climbing neck-and-neck in the race up the wall. But Jordan had a difficult time knocking through the wall at one point. Not long after, he missed a step and fell, killing any hope of winning. Bananas finished off the victory, calling it his most gratifying win. TJ lamented the fact that Jordan’s cocky move cost him $125,000. Jordan still kept his pride, but was going out the door empty-handed

Laurel was heartbroken that Jordan was eliminated. She tried to make peace with Bananas, but he wasn’t hearing it. In fact, he let off some steam against her, berating her for the moves she made in the game so far. Meanwhile, everyone else was laughing at Jordan’s dumb decision.
