WWE NXT – 10/30/13
Byron Saxton wishes us a Happy Halloween and welcomes everyone to NXT this week, as it will be Saxton, William Regal and Renee Young at the announce table.
Enzo Amore and Big Cass, Colin Cassidy come out, calling out Sylvester Lefort and his Legionnaires. Last week it looked like they may already be breaking away from Rusev, it will be interesting to see if that progresses this week.
Lefort is called a sloppy jalopy and chicken tenders before the S-A-W-F-T call.
Amore has the breast cancer ribbon shaved into his head.
Rusev comes down and Lefort will actually be competing himself this week. He was trained by Lance Storm, just only used as a manager to date.
Enzo Amore & Colin Cassidy vs. Alexander Rusev & Sylvester Lefort
The big men of each team, Cassidy and Rusev, start off with Alexander mauling Big Cass from the bell.
As Rusev has very little trouble handling the Jersey duo, Renee asks Regal to recall anyone of Rusev’s size that has his agility. Regal cannot recall.
Rusev dismantles Cass, tosses Amore in the ring and takes care of him. As both of his opponents are down, he turns his attention to Sylvester Lefort and beats up his own partner.
He turns back to Cassidy and gets the submission victory.
Winner: Alexander Rusev & Sylvester Lefort
As Rusev celebrates, Regal says Rusev will be a world champion within the next year. The mystery blonde woman from last week stands atop the ramp as the announcers question why Rusev beat up Lefort.
Graphic advertises the Parker vs. Breeze matchup tonight.
Back from commercial, we get an introduction to AIDEN ENGLISH!
English had a mini win streak after debuting his singing gimmick, then got squashed in a main event by RVD and disappeared. He’s back and he’s singing. Life is good.
The crowd goes nuts, Renee approves and Regal admits to a man crush.
Aiden English vs. Jason Jordan
English opponent gets a little offense and we find out his name is Jason Jordan and he was supposedly drafted by the Minnesota Twins.
English takes advantage and when he puts a chinlock on Jordan, sings him a lullaby. Because he is great.
Jordan gets that trademark ROOKIE DROPKICK but English quickly with his finisher, now called the Director’s Cut.
Winner: Aiden English
The “ENCORE” chant starts right away. Aiden does his encore, people are throwing roses in the ring. It is pretty fantastic. Regal gives him a standing ovation.
Byron Saxton quickly recaps last week’s Graves-Neville main event aftermath. Neville is interviewed on the trainer’s table following last week’s match.
Women’s Champion Paige versus Summer Rae is advertised as up next.
The Mojo Rawley cancer segment airs. Stay hyped.
Summer Rae comes out with Sasha Banks and life continues to be good. Renee talks about the two bullying the Divas locker room and Regal gets all pervy in hopes for details.
As Paige makes her entrance, we get a recap of Paige-Banks encounter last week.
Summer Rae vs. NXT Women’s Champion Paige
Paige tosses Summer early as we hear about these two having one of the most heated rivalries in the history of all of NXT.
As Summer escapes to the outside, Renee starts talking about getting her hands on Mr. Regal’s British candies. Paige goes to retrieve Summer but Summer tosses Sasha into Paige.
Paige in the ring tries a quick pinning combination. As always in Paige matches, Regal talks about his love of watching a lady deliver a headbutt.
Paige has control but Sasha grabs the leg of Paige. The official sees this and tosses Sasha from ringside. As Sasha throws a fit, we go to a commercial break.
In an oddly timed moved, commercial returns with a three minute RAW REBOUND with Hell in a Cell and its aftermath on RAW.
It flows right back into the match with Paige in control, before a cheapshot from Summer. Summer knocks Paige to the outside then brings her back in the ring for a failed pin.
Summer starts working over the legs of Paige before wrapping a leg around the head of Paige.
Summer gets frustrated that nothing keeps Paige down. She shouts at her to “get up” and then jumps, only to be caught and dropped by Paige.
Both men roll on the mat and the champion makes a quick but unsuccessful covers.
Paige up and throws a dropkick for another nearfall. Back up, Paige bounced into the ropes, Summer Rae nails a roundhouse kick and gets frustrated again. She grabs the champion by the hair and starts yelling, only to get a kick to the gut.
Out of nowhere Paige hits the Paige Turner and gets the win.
Winner: Paige
As soon as the bell rings, Sasha Banks re-arrives and pummels Paige. Emma is here to make the save like Paige did before. Just like before, Emma inadvertently hits Paige. Paige and Emma stare each other down again.
Tyler Breeze is backstage with the piece of Parker’s hair. Much like his Zoolander gimmick, he makes a derelict reference.
The lantern of the Wyatts is shown swinging. It is, oddly enough, a Luke Harper promo. Pretty interesting. He talks about his new play thing, making reference to his easy victory over Kassius Ohno weeks back. Ohno-Harper will be one on one again next week.
Tyler Breeze makes his selfie entrance and has the hair of his opponent with him.
Parker comes charging out but as Breeze escapes the ring, he still seems to make it look like he is dancing.
Tyler Breeze vs. CJ Parker
Parker chases Breeze and grabs the model. He makes quick work throwing Breeze. Breeze escapes a punch attempt to cover his face but CJ nails a suplex.
Breeze avoids a facial hit again but Parker dives on him with a crossbody.
Parker finally hits Breeze in the face with a headbutt before posing above Tyler.
Parker does his spin routine on Breeze and sizes up Breeze. Tyler, while dizzy, gets out of the ring. Parker, who has had complete control, stands frustrated in the ring while Breeze is down on the outside. The show takes another commercial.
Back to action, Parker is continuing to lay in the offense. Parker charges Breeze in the corner and Breeze finally send CJ flying.
An angry Breeze drops a knee to the face of Parker. Breeze works over the face of the Moonchild.
The first part of the match had Parker worked a downed Breeze and now we are getting the exact opposite.
Parker gets in the match by tossing Breeze off the top in the middle of a high risk attempt. CJ tackles Breeze, signaling to his hair.
CJ nails some vicious clotheslines before a kick to the head but Tyler kicks out.
Parker counters the finisher of Breeze before nailing a knockout blow himself.
Winner: CJ Parker
Parker gets some clippers from ringside, which gets the Full Sail crowd even more upset. Tyler avoids the cut and scrambles up the ramp as NXT goes off the air.
