There’s a lot of good grist for a DSotR episode IMO. The former stripper, future male escort background. Nearly being paralyzed in the ring, being wildly unpopular with most of the boys, the DDP Yoga redemptive arc.

That's what I'm saying. Tenta didn't deserve an episode, either, but the business is SO scummy there's still hundreds of threads that we know about worth pulling. Bagwell at least has the elements. Honestly should've pushed Tenta back the second the Vince news broke because it's just a funny look showing the "dark side" of one of the most likeable guys ever when so much else is happening.
I thought the Buff one was better than a lot of stuff they've done the last season or two tbh. It was worth it just for the stories about Buff trying to murder his dad and Slick Johnson walking in on Judy shaving Buff's balls.

Good episode, but not as insane as Bagwell's family story.
Other than Ray Gordy's story on Terry's death I'm not sure I "learned" much.
Corny's Militia gear made SMW look even more low rent than it already was.
The RF Video clips of Gordy was sad to see.

The producer was on Corny's show. Harley Race's family sent them a giant box full of tapes, reels and pictures to use. A VHS tape was labeled "Harley's greatest matches". They got all excited to see what this was and when they popped it in the VCR it was taped over for..... Fletch 2.

This is going to be the opposite of their usual "Such and Such was not pushed and paid by the big companies forever and ever." I do roll my eyes at their general narratives regarding pushes and whatnot.
Even a guy like Tenta who wound up flushed out of the big leagues....they openly admit he quit the WWF several times. That's a guy Vince is supposed to pay for years and years and trust to push?
WCW was always a train wreck so that's a different story. I can't imagine they didn't offer Tenta the standard 156K a year at some point to be a card filler. I'm sure his 94 contract was much more lucrative and the paycut was seen as disrespect.

Beefer was gently buried on this. Hammer, Blair and his wife said nice things, but most everyone else was there to confirm Beefcake was Hogan's bag carrier. The on scene retelling of the parasailing accident was interesting. The Sherri story was funny.
Sad that he was yet another guy to make tons of cash and end up with nothing to show for it.
The "aspirin" story was good only because the Leslies are likely full of it and everyone else told the truth.

The powers that be seemed to be very aggressive in getting any bootleg copies off of YT. Usually 3 or 4 are up at least for a bit. I would have watched this AM but I am starting vacation so I was drinking bloody marys with Mama Brody on the windy shores of Lake Michigan instead.
