A senior official from Clinton’s campaign noted that they did have a large staff presence in Michigan and Wisconsin (200 and 180 people respectively) while also stressing that one of the reasons they didn’t do more was, in part, because of psychological games they were playing with the Trump campaign. They recognized that Michigan, for example, was a vulnerable state and felt that if they could keep Trump away ― by acting overly confident about their chances ― they would win it by a small margin and with a marginal resource allocation.

I disagree with his politics, but I have always liked Joe Biden. He would be one of the few national politicians of either Party I would be happy to shoot the shit with.

True, though I don't think Booker would have had to give up his seat if he chose to be a running mate. I am sure the Democrat Party would rather have 4-8 more years in the White House than a Republican occupying one Senate seat they could easily win back in a few years.

Also looking at the Mitt Romney footage after his meeting with Trump today... never seen a more obvious example of someone who got shitted on verbally and laughed at for probably 90% of the meeting.

Oh no, I'm well aware that the victory of recreational MJ in my state and in many others is in serious jeopardy here (and technically it always was because fuck states rights it's all about the DEA and the big bad feds) but I just thought it was cool that Pence got rightfully shit on

Also Trump on Friday went from Manhattan to NJ in the afternoon for some BS and due to the presidential motorcade and security it caused massive traffic problems for commuters delaying them for hours and hours and leaving them stuck in tunnels and on bridges......and I guess the explanation was he didn't realize he would cause such a fuss traveling rush hour on a friday IN NY-NJ?!?!

This next 4 years is going to be something.....dude don't even know the commuters of his own city much less the average American........but we already knew that.

I'm kind of surprised they (we) are going to spend millions of dollars refurbishing his NY penthouse with security measures (plus messing with 5th ave driving flow) instead of just finding him a suitable mansion outside of the city that can be used for the same purpose.
