Biden is polling ahead in North Carolina, Wisconsin, Michigan, Arizona, and Ohio. Some of those states were states that Hilldawg never polled that well in.

How likely is that some of these senate matchups don't align with the presidency?

Not likely IMO. Except maybe Maine. A lot of these Republicans are extremely unpopular in their own states.

I'd be a lot more excited about the Maine US Senate race if the presumed Democrat nominee wasn't essentially just a younger, marginally more liberal Susan Collins.

This is legitimately having the potential of heading into landslide territory.

I really thought Trump was going to cruise easily to a re-election. But he’s cocked up this coronavirus response so poorly that I’m hearing tons of Trump bashing from people I’ve never heard a political word from before.

I’m cautious of polls. He was supposed to get his ass kicked last time as well.

A lot of people I know that voted for him in 2016 are probably sitting this one out.

Voter turnout, voter turnout, voter turnout.

He can be losing 70/30 in polls where people respond to someone coming to them for questions. If they don’t take the time to go vote, 70/30 doesn’t mean shit. You have to inspire your people to vote.

1. Pennsylvania
2. Wisconsin
3. North Carolina
4. Arizona
5. Michigan

I think those are the states that will decide it. I have no faith in Ohio and Florida to turn blue. I think Michigan will be tough because of the vitriol Trump has thrown at Gov. Whitmer.

Michigan has a ton of hillbilly trash. The only upside here for me is I know more people who voted for him last time that are sick of him vs new fans he’s picked up. But that’s just my little world.

Biden leads Trump by 12 points, earning 53 percent support compared with Trump’s 41 percent, according to a EPIC-MRA poll reported by the Detroit Free Press on Sunday.

the key thing in this is the lack of sign of hidden trump voters. Biden is well ahead or close in numerous swing states and states that are normally red. Long time to go still but it's looking positive at the moment.

That’s what scares me. There were a lot of Trump voters last time who wouldn’t participate in polls or were embarrassed go admit they were voting for Trump. Seeing he’s managed to become even more divisive, I can only imagine there are still some followers of his that won’t admit it, despite the stereotype being the overly aggressive dumpster fire.

" Sept. 29, Oct. 15, and Oct. 22. Additionally, the former VP’s running mate, who has yet to be announced, would participate in a vice presidential debate scheduled for Oct. 7 "

Trump wanted MORE than 3 debates. So much for him not wanting to debate.

Yeah, not surprising. This guy thinks he's the most intelligent person on the planet. There was no way he would not debate.

tl;dr

Retreating and letting Trump dominate the news cycle is a great strategy. If he doesn't have an opponent saying things that he can respond to, he drowns saying dumb shit like wanting to stop corona testing.

A total of 19 polls of voters in swing states from four different pollsters were released Thursday, with former Vice President Joe Biden leading President Trump in every single one, including in historically Republican states like Arizona, Georgia and Texas.
