There is not much to make of it. The anonymous woman calling in never mentioned anything about sexual assault or harrasment. The caller said the following on a show about cutthroat DC politics & media:

"I’m wondering what a staffer would do besides go to the press in Washington? My daughter has just left there after working for a prominent senator, and could not get through with her problems at all, and the only thing she could have done was go to the press, and she chose not to do it out of respect for him."

People are trying to apply that to her current allegation but it could mean anything. USA Today ran an opinion article a few days ago questioning the allegation. The columnist wrote this about Larry King call:

The "out of respect" explanation sounds more like an office squabble with staff that resulted in leaving the job. Indeed, in last year's interview with The Washington Post, Reade laid the blame on Biden’s staff for “bullying” her. She also said, “I want to emphasize: It’s not him. It’s the people around him.”

Yep, this whole thing is bogus. Someone also did a analysis of her details of where she said the assault took place. He would have had to do it right in front of a police post on top of all the other incorrect details. This didn't happen.

It is easy to believe it happened before all this stuff came out because Biden is a naturally creepy guy, but it's impossible for me to look at the details and still think that this happened. I also wanted to believe it because I don't want him to be the nominee.

Trump is the best at 3D chess

first he goes well out of his way to attack Biden to the point he gets himself impeached because he's the one guy (imperative word guy) he thinks he could possibly lose to

now he's throwing out advice to Biden on how he should handle sexual assault allegations, and also has an "out of the box" choice for Biden's VP.........drum roll.......wait for it..........

POCAHONTAS

Which clearly tells me what I already know, that he's also terrified of Liz Warren.

DO WHAT I DO JOE. ALWAYS DO THE OPPOSITE OF WHAT TRUMP DOES. HE'S THE WORST ROCK PAPER ROCK PLAYER OF ALL TIMES. HE ALWAYS CHOOSES ROCK BECAUSE ROCK IS BEST.

PICK ELIZABETH WARREN YOU SENILE OLD WHITE FUCK

I'm still fairly certain Cheeto Bandito is getting reelected unless the death toll for COVID goes well into the millions. His base is really fired up over the shelter in place orders from LIBERAL GOVERNORS (even though at least half of them are Republicans), deflecting blame masterfully as he does, and plus absolutely no one is fired up for Joe Biden

His base is always fired up. There is always a caricature in their head that riles them up. The majority of Americans agree with shelter in place orders. Polls have consistently backed that up. The newest poll I saw this week said a majority thinks the country is opening up too soon.

Anything can happen but I just don't see a Trump reelection. I look at the 2018 midterms and I see a sure path for Dem victory. Biden is going to win on the strength of white suburban women. That is what many people (Bernie bros) are missing. People don't want a revolution, they just want to catch their breath. They want a president and administration that they don't have to constantly think about. They don't want to worry about him tweeting something crazy @ 3 AM. It's no longer a "what do you have to lose" situation like in 2016. They have seen him for 4 years and now know he should've never been elected.

As cynical as it is? You're right. Suburbia doesn't want change and doesn't care about the legitimate systemic issues that brought Trump in the first place. It wants to be in autopilot mode again, it wants to ignore foreign children killed by drone strikes and billionaires rigging the odds ever in their favor. Trump makes them have to acknowledge how awful things have really been since Nixon.

I feel like the candidate with more fired up base wins 9 times out of 10 and there's 1000x more energy in Trump's base.

It's not just the past four years but past 10 years that make me such a cynical bastard since Maine had proto Trump situation with Paul LePage from 2010-18. And maybe again since he's running for a third term in 2022.

Nah, it’s simple. This country hates Hillary and those same swing states that voted against her will vote for Biden.

Man, last election, our hopes rode on "People hate Trump more than they hate Hilary" and now they ride on "People don't hate Biden as much as they hated Hilary". I just don't know. I wish I could share everyone's optimism.

Colorado is a swing state, or is supposed to be. There are multiple polls showing this margin. I am surprised.

Tara Reade sat down for an interview with Megyn Kelly that was recorded today.

Who does Megyn Kelly even work for these days?

She just posts her shit on youtube now. Remember when she had a much hyped interview with Alex Jones on NBC and it lost to a rerun of America's Funniest Home Videos.

They just put out what they see as their path to winning the election and Latino voters are specifically named as one of the key groups so hopefully there will be improvements there.

Good. Even though the Democrats could run an inanimate carbon rod as nominee and still win by 40%, I think taking their vote for granted was one of the gazillion reasons they lost in 2016.

I looked it up again and I'm always amazed that Trump got 29% in 2016. Almost as surprising is Romney got 27%. I can almost kind of get Latinos for Trump but Latinos for Romney!?

it's not that hard to figure out

Even though Trump has overseen a much harsher immigration policy, Biden’s relationship with Latinos has been strained because of the Obama administration’s record of deporting nearly 3 million people who were in the U.S. illegally. President Obama was tagged “deporter in chief” by his critics.

Biden was confronted with protesters at rallies last year and two Democratic debates were interrupted over the issue. He angrily responded to one protester, “You should vote for Trump.”

Biden eventually repudiated the Obama policy as a “big mistake” a week before Nevada’s caucuses on Feb. 22 and promised to impose a moratorium on deportations in the first 100 days of his administration if he is elected.
“Vice President Biden has a lot of work to do to regain the trust of the Latino community and to increase enthusiasm among the electorate,” said Cristina Jiménez, executive director of United We Dream Action, an immigrant-rights group that endorsed Sanders and Sen. Elizabeth Warren of Massachusetts.

good to know that he repudiated the policy, but he has a lot of work to do in getting that message out there and proving that he means it.

She didn't deserve it, and that's what she gets for supporting Bloomberg, so that video is highly amusing.

Stacey Abrams didn't endorse Bloomberg. A lot of notable African American politicians inexplicably did but she was not one of them. TYPICAL ORANGE COUNTY WHITE 909!

stacey abrams went to church with bloomberg when all the people turned their backs on Bloomberg, she also defended a bunch of his bs during the primaries. Bloomberg also was one of her biggest donors and specifically cited her as an example of one of the politicians he owned.

There's a lot of other stuff I could go back to post, but basically this person lied about practically everything related to their life.

This story is also fucking crazy.

https://www.politico.com/news/2020/05/15/tara-reade-left-trail-of-aggrieved-acquaintances-260771

Reade had spoken highly of Biden, the former boss who employed her as a staff assistant from late 1992 to August 1993, and never mentioned assault or harassment, Wrye recalls.

This most definitely never happened. Bubble burst. It sounds like she would routinely bring up working for Biden and compliment him as a way to get money out of people and not pay them back lmao.
