Damn. Didn't know Steve from Blues Clues went on to become EDM legend Moby after college
God damn it, that made me really tear up. The dude's still cool. Very heartwarming and sincere message.

I've been wanting to see this again for 20+ years and here it is. Despite the title it was not unaired. I saw it when I was five and was very confused months later when the series premiered with a mostly different cast. And I understand why they felt the need to recast because the girls in this one are pretty bad at acting. YEAH I SAID IT JUST THE GIRLS

They aired this sometime in the late 90s. They advertised it as "the rarely before seen very first episode".

What would you rather do? Complete the entire Double Dare Course, get a piece of the Aggro Crag by winning Guts or make it through Olmec's Temple?

I gotta go:

1. Double Dare Course
2. Piece of the Crag
3. Temple completion

I think Double Dare hit syndication in 1988 ( yup Feb. 88) or so and I can remember getting sick of it to a degree because it was on so much.

Pretty sure it was on my FOX affiliate 5-6 everyday and then on Nick from 7-8.

YCDTOT marathons on weekends were the best. I think Nick did them all the way to around 93/94.

Double Dare really was the ultimate Nick studios show.

Harvey was the best announcer.

Robin had a couple of good qualities as well.

Weinerville was the only Nick show I got sick of from airing foo much. There was a 2 hour block of it every Sunday. Oh hell no.

Looking back, I think the shorts Nick did in-between their shows was a really clever way to get kids to watch the commercials. I'm a little surprised other networks haven't picked it up in some form.

I'd go: Piece of the Aggro-Crag, Double Dare, then Olmec's Temple. Fuck those guards man...

Did you get any sort of physical keepsake comparable to the Aggro-Crag for winning one of the other two shows? I would have to choose Guts first based on that alone, that would be a cool trophy to have.
