It's probably a large paycheck, and the movies always make money. So I guess who cares if every Adam Sandler film brings us closer to the Apocalypse, you get paid and get your name attached to a hit movie.

I can understand that, but sooner or later, someone's gotta (or is going to) say no. I can understand Austin and Taylor Lautner, but it's kinda sad to see Samberg becoming reduced to being Sandler's new lackey.

And he really hooks his friends up on set. Not only do they get a nice paycheck, but they get perks on set that no one else gets. Nicer trailers than everyone, better food, etc. It's like being on vacation when you work with him.

Plus there is always that off chance you will be in a GOOD Sandler movie. It's worth it.

Ever since it came out from Chris Rock that Sandler buys stuff like Maseratis for his cast in the first Grown Ups, I've been wondering who would be the first person to try and get in every Sandler movie from here on out.

Nah. Sure it's a shitty movie that someone is going to play in but they draw and now since Sandler seems to be buying lavish gifts for cast members as if for a way to bribe them into doing more with him... it's honestly an easy career move to make.

As fondly as I look back on older Sandler movies... most of them just aren't any good. I just remember them better than they actually are. The guy's career is mostly shit movies, yet people start crying out when he puts out another turd

It has to do with money and fame obviously but these guys also looked up to Sandler as kids so it's hard to say no to him. They know the movie is going to suck but it's a chance to work with one of their comedic heroes

I will probably go see That's My Boy. I'm a fan of Samberg and I caught Just Go With It on HBO a few weeks back and it wasn't the worst thing in the world. This will be the first time I've paid for a Happy Madison film in theater in a long, long time though.
