AEW 2026: Year Seven

My issue's with Danhausen also go beyond the gimmick in that he wanted to start being a more serious wrestler and he sucks at that. He's also another of those guys who sits on social media shitting on the product when he's unhappy. It's one thing to be mad a Tony because he won't release you but shitting on your fellow workers is pretty bad to me. Especially when they're all much better.

I'm catching up on Dynamite, but I wonder what will happen to Hologram once he comes back from injury. El Clon is better in every way, and has really impressed me the last few weeks. Sure, he spams that head tilt taunt, but it's a badass taunt. His match against Mox was really good. The AEW roster is absurd at this point.

El Clon is better without the mask, so when Hologram comes back I assume that they're going to go through the process of unmasking him

I saw how El Clon moved and thought he looked familiar. Looked him up and he used to be Arez, who was one of the luchadors that MLW used to bring in regularly and I enjoyed his work.

Brawling Birds squashing the IInspiration was great and the correct booking decision. Im not sure why the latter needed a contract but if they're just bodies for the women's tag division then it's fine.

Kevin Knight is going to be a fucking star if they don't botch him. That was probably his best performance yet.

After watching an interview where MJF put him on his Mt. Rushmore? I totally see the Chris Candido influence.

This is a huge loss for NJPW. Everyone knew Finlay was gone (but expected to go to WWE) but losing Kidd and to a lesser extent Connors too hurts them.

I wasn't a big Finlay guy when they first started pushing him but the last year or so he started to really show signs of improvement. I can't say what he's like as a promo but he improved enough as a worker that he should be able to at least hang with the roster. I don't think he has the potential of Gabe or Connors though.

I'm a huge Connors mark. He has this vibe when he cuts promos that reminds me of a villain from Metal Gear Solid, like Revolver Ocelot. Huge fan.

Man, I swear I'm not hating, but Thekla is way up there with Kyle Fletcher on my "I wish I could see what y'all see, cuz I don't fucking get it" list.

I guess it's fine, if you don't like the IInspiration... I really don't understand what they get out of being in AEW, if they're just going to be jobbers; I can't imagine that they need the money?
