AEW 2026: Year Seven

I forget how damn jacked he is too. He has the build of an old retired MMA fighter lmao. He's gonna take out that dastardly Okada at anytime.
He’s also like 5’5 so when he walks towards you at a random event it’s like a roided angry bull manlet charging in (this happened to me, he thought I wanted to talk to him but I bulldozed straight past him)

This is interesting…

Probably not a good sign for the future of Triller. I do wonder how well this new platform will work with VPNs. If I can get all the PPVs for $120 a year (plus everything ROH), that would be pretty awesome.
Thinking more about this. Tony was asked on a media call yesterday about MyAEW being available in the US, and he was very clear that it’s for international viewers only.

I wish someone would have pressed him on it a bit more. To get everything included in the $120 per year price point for other countries, you would need about $612 in HBO Max and Honor Club subscription fees plus PPV purchases. Would love to hear his response to that.

3/11 was the first Dynamite in a month where I basically FF'd everything.

-PLEEEEEASE let Takeshita take the belt off Mox so we can end this Death Riders/Callis Family shit. Ideally in a 5-minute finishing stretch sprint so we don't have to suffer through 25 minutes of Mox pretending he knows chain wrestling.

-MJF/Fletcher promo revealed how much work Fletcher still has ahead of him. Dude's got raw talent and needs guidance.

-I'd love Bailey if I was 10 and still obsessed with Bloodsport and Street Fighter II. I appreciate Fletcher giving Bailey room to get some shine, and how they did multiple call backs to when Fletcher dumped Bailey onto the barricade, but for a guy nicknamed "Speedball" he sure is moving like he's underwater half the time. He's got a 1-2-3 Kid meets Sparkplug Holly look going on that could be ignored if his matches weren't the most generic mid-00s bullshit.

-Brody squashing bitches is always fun. Swerve really just goes through the motions half the time, though. The chain breaking spot was fun, but it felt underwhelming after Swerve just blatantly went "I'll lay this chain here and then you sell." Swerve needs to sell the attack, too. Flex your muscles to make us think you're actually choking him, make some faces, etc.

-If there was ever any more proof needed that Darby is OVER as a star for a reason? Here comes another bland tag match. Cassidy's hands in his pockets should be a taunt based on how easily he can parry and bob and weave, not just done for the sake of doing it. Finlay shows very little of the aggression that his father was known for. Kidd is solid enough, really loved the eye gouge as he kept turning away from the ref.

-Willow is solid enough, but I'm so sick and fucking tired of "LOOK HOW BRIGHT AND SILLY AND HAPPY I AM" gimmicks. They only worked for New Day (who quickly turned it into something very different), Bayley in NXT, and Kylie Rae. Persephone is alright. Decent enough match, I guess.

-Ciampa/FTR out of nowhere is a choice...but at least it makes sense for Mark Briscoe to not be particularly fond of FTR (fuuuuuck, I miss Jay so much). Young Bucks are a cancer so fuck right off.

-Holy fucking SHIIIIIIT did Hangman fumble the entire press conference. MJF has to win because he at least knows how to talk without sounding like a straight-to-video action hero. You know how bad David Schultz sounded when he was in the talk show audience and spouted off at the former wrestler that was exposing the business? That's Page in a nutshell...without the authenticity that Dr. D carried. "I PROMISE TO SHOW THE MOST EXTREME" oh piss off, you suburban hyucklefuck.

Willow is the best natural face in the company. It doesn't feel forced with her. She's got something and has gotten pretty good, too.

If they're setting up for a Gargano arrival, I'm going to laugh.
