they tried that, didn’t work. people weren’t interested in a 3rd brand led by Chris Jericho doing one of his less famous characters.
 
That's still the best usage. He's got nothing else.

Dave speculates that Jericho isn’t interested in retiring which is what the deal breaker with WWE ultimately came down to in addition to the probability that AEW offered more and would give Jericho his usual creative license.

It’s likely Jericho thinks he’s got a longer rope to carry and knows a retirement tour limits him even tho it’s probably the best scenario for him.

if he just wants to work occasionally and do his weird shit, should just go to mexico and play there.
 
Honestly a dual contract with CMLL is a perfect option. He's got lucha granddad energy and can be a nice final boss for any talent coming over.
 
Is Jay White ready to come back yet, because he could fill in the gap for Fletcher missing time.

That's a bummer though. Fletcher has been one of the best parts of AEW over the last year and a half or so.

The announcers should all dress in themed silly looking Golf outfits like WCW used to do for Bash At The Beach and Road Wild. Just for the image of Taz in golf gear.
 
TK has announced Fletcher will be out for months and the TNT Championship is vacated and the upcoming Dynasty PPV will have TK’s favorite gimmick match, a casino gauntlet, to crown the new champion.

Sounds like there will be a charity golf outing the day before too. I demand footage of Beast Mortos in full golf apparel with his head gear.
 
I usually watch a few days later but I saw they added a Bucks vs Okada/Takeshita match and that should be awesome. Although it's been long enough and they should finally have the Callis Family turn on Takeshita and get the Take/Okada feud going properly.

Dude I thought that was Big Ben Rothwell and got excited that we would see those cheesy promos again.
 
apparently the new gimmick for Jericho is that he’s going to reheat his old nachos and play various versions of himself

TK confirmed it’s a multi year deal.
 
Kamille returned to AEW on Zero Hour and attacked Willow. Wasn't expecting her to return, but she's on that American Gladiators revival hosted by Miz that I am definitely watching. It might end up being better than the Hogan 2008 reboot, since that was edited like Kevin Dunn did it. Just constant quick cuts. And, we are over that shit as a society finally, so this Prime version should be edited so we can see the action.
 
I like WINDZAHHHH! Marina has also gotten much better. That was a fun match, and Windsor should be Thekla's next challenger.
