Apparently Robin will be playable for some challenge levels in this game. From what I read, the Robin stuff will be DLC exclusive to Best Buy at launch but then can be purchased by everyone at a later date.

I am excited for this game...

...but seeing this footage and stuff still makes me wonder if Rocksteady Games could make a Superman game as good as "Batman: Arkham Asylum" was and how "Batman: Arkham City" looks to be.

It'd be tricker yes, but if they could pull it off...

Oh, and also...I'm hoping that Arkham City has a better final boss than Arkham Asylum did.

Ditto that re: the boss. Arkham Asylums boss felt too over the top.. Like it was something out of Resident Evil where you're just fighting a bigger mutated version of the boss you just fought before.

Joker, after taking the Titan formula, had all that power over Batman now physically...and for most of the fight he just taunts the helicopters! What the hell? FIGHT HIM YOU PANSY!

I loved Asylum... my only (minor) complaint was the over-reliance on stealth mode. If they can tone that down some how... this is still going to be a fucking awesome game.

Yeah I went with Best Buy as well for the same reason. You also get a Black Mask challenge map through them, too, I think.

Also agree about the over reliance on detective mode in the previous game.. Kinda annoying to have to play the majority of the game with that blue visor over everything.

Odd. I would've predicted that Bane (along with Croc and Scarecrow) would return in this game as Hugo Strange's 'Monster Men' since they all seem to grab the Titan formula at the end of Arkham Asylum (depending on which ending that you get), but this may be better.

I'm just wondering why neither Burton style Bat-suits or Nolan style Bat-Suits didn't make it.

We KNOW why Schumacher style ones didn't.

Third from the left looks like a close approximation to the Keaton outfit (using grey instead of black, like BTAS version) but I'm sure it's a reference to something else I don't know.

I dug the "sonar suit" from Batman Forever, with the bat logo moulded into the suit.

I am pretty certain that is DKR Batman. To me, he would be in more demand and looks pretty spot-on.

I've had this one pre-ordered from Amazon for a long time. I got it using a couple coupons too so right now I'm locked in at around $46 shipped plus it comes with a $10 credit for future game purchase and an exclusive comic. Seems pretty good but all the in-game stuff Best Buy is offering, on top of their multi-title pre-order special this fall, seems rather tempting.

It's a pity that Robin's symbol wasn't blue in that pic; he'd (almost) look just like Nightwing.

And yes that Batman second from the left is most definitely from TDKR. It's a shame they didn't get an Adam West costume - that would've been interesting. If they went with Keatons Batman, he wouldn't have been able to turn his head for that pic.

Third from the left is Batman: Earth One - which, funnily enough, still has yet to debut in any of the comics. Personally, I'd like to see an Owl Man version from the Crime Syndicate just for fun.

Oh, and FYI, the far right is the default costume. It's there, I assume, for comparison.

No blue. Outfit also looks like it's got a bit of a military twinge to it, as well. The logo is also worked into the cape/cowl piece.
