Most indies I've been to played the anthem, and those were all in central MA/central RI. It's not exactly something worth reporting.

I don’t want to insult the venue because I love watching lower level Indy wrestling in an small venue. But Adam Scherr in the right wing equivalent of Pro Wrestling Magic is hardly going to change the wrestling world. And I would feel far better giving my money to Edith Surreal.

Yeah, a lot of really good indies like Beyond (and PROGRESS in the UK) do SRO venues. I'm guessing that people making fun of that aspect only watch WWE and AEW. But still I think that type of venue really only works for a certain type of indie wrestling and it's the kind that doesn't involve Braun Strowman, EC3, and Buddy Murphy's former tag team partner.

It's like someone just watched Fight Club recently, and totally didn't understand what the movie was about. These rules, for the most part, are lifted right from the book/movie. I laughed at "No #superkicks..." because you can't control your narrative if you throw a kick, or hit a jump.

I think there's a moderately good idea buried deep in there. I think there's a decent sized audience that is longing for something that's the anti AEW. I think that's why Josh Barnett's BloodSport is one of the biggest independent shows of the year. These chuds are absolutely wrong people to do it though. It's like seeing your high school gym teacher wear a leather jacket.

Sandler is probably about three more rotations away on his Netflix deal from landing the coveted role of washed up pro wrestler goes to Hawaii with all his friends and an inexplicably attractive much younger woman and has to wrestle one more match to save the old dilapidated but charming hotel from being torn down and replaced by an evil resort.

Douche/wrestling show producer speak for the matches won't go too long. Which is one of the aspects that I like cause indie matches are frequently too dang long.
