...isn't a Monster's Ball how she got the really bad concussion, though?

Nah that was just the last straw of how she fucked her body up (leading to an eventual double hysterectomy iirc) and caused/perpetuated all of her mental issues. Terry Taylor and Dixie were good people.

It's going to hurt him more than Flair long term.

I still don't know why he's even in Impact anyway.

The "if not worse" part. For sharing his opinion about something. One of the worst aspects of the modern era is the idea that depriving someone of their livelihood is a proper response to not agreeing with their views.

I think I completely agree with this. Look, the only way to change these views is to teach someone. I understand that a lot of people have no patience and would rather completely ban them and pretend that they don't exist. In the real world it doesn't work like that though. He has the job with Impact because he brought something to the company. Otherwise, they would have fired him a while ago or would fire him. You might not know what he does but there's a reason they didn't jump to just fire him. Pump the brakes here.

Also, a lot of people are starting to get the idea that words are worse than actions, which is completely wrong and stupid for all kinds of reasons. Also, if I looked it up, I bet you'd find a lot of people who laughed about the stuff Flair used to do. Like as in almost everyone including probably countless people here.

You guys have known me for decades at this point, I probably am overreacting but Joey Styles got blackballed from wrestling for making a "grab 'em by the pussy" joke so I don't know if it'd be that much of an overreaction.

I think indefinite hiatus is the right call.

Joey got blackballed because he was a Trump supporter and he made the wrong enemies countless times over. Moreover he let his Trump support leak out on commentary in a really disgusting and uncalled for way. Nobody asked for his opinion. That's far more justifiable. Dreamer was just telling a story about Flair and his dick that almost literally everyone in wrestling has told and laughed about. I'm like the last thing from a Crying Tommy Dreamer fan, but I feel like this guy is getting the brunt of shit that should be going to Flair. It isn't going to Flair because people like him more and think that he's untouchable, but someone has to go down for all this and it's Tommy Dreamer's turn.

People don't like hearing this, but "it was a different time." It was such a different time that almost all Flair's co-workers have told stories about his dick and they laugh about it. Almost everyone in the business thinks this is the funniest thing ever, and the only reason you aren't seeing people laugh about it now is because they don't want to get in trouble. That doesn't make it right but everyone needs to understand where these people are coming from. This is hundreds if not thousands of people. These people have swapped stories about Flair's dick for 50 years! This, as in literally yesterday, was the first time where it wasn't okay for wrestlers to tell stories about Flair's dick. They asked Dreamer and he told them what they wanted to hear.

I'm not really cool with asking someone a question, them giving you the opinion that every wrestler had for fifty years, and then deciding it's time to take that guy down instead of the guy who assaulted the flight attendant. Not cool.

Tony Khan would be an absolute fool and a clown if he brought Ric Flair in right now. That being said, will Flair face the brunt of the consequences? I doubt it. He'll still be able to go on convention circuit where all of the marks who like to pretend that the real world doesn't exist will gladly pony up the $$$ to shake his hand and take a picture with him.

I also think Tommy Dreamer, fairly or unfairly, is facing the most immediate set of consequences cause he is the most expendable of the people that you can point a finger at. Flair is friggin old and doesn't *have* to be in modern wrestling, Dustin Rhodes is sober and born again and can always say it was another time in his life. Brock Lesnar, well, I feel bad for whoever would to tell him the consequences of his actions.

There are consequences for our choices (sometimes). As there should be. Start making horrible rape jokes because you're a guy and it's totally cool...might get fired, might lose your reference, might ruin your entire life.

The women on that plane, as in all of these situations, do not ever get to be the same person they were before these things are done to them. It is not cool. It is not funny. If Dreamer loses employment because he chose to go on TV and rationalize sexual predation, I have no problem with that. Ric Flair and Vince McMahon being coddled is not an excuse. They should be held accountable as well.

If Tommy was working in the office or creative, it'd be one thing but afaik (which might not mean SHIT to paraphrase, a lot of his role is mentoring young talent. If the guy you set as the example on how to behave as a veteran talent acts like Dreamer did in that documentary, I feel like an indefinite suspension is a good start for level of punishment.

As per Victory Road tonight, Josh Alexander is exercising option C (yes, that's still a thing) and challenging Christian for the world title at Bound for Glory.

You know what? I dig this. Match should be good and another new star can be made.

I hadn't thought of Josh Alexander as one of the potential candidates as guy who finally brings the Impact World Title back to Impact but ykw? More I think more about it, the more I think he's best guy for the job. Home grown talent, great worker, afaik not a scumbag like Moose.

If you get a chance, follow his wife on Twitter, Jade Chung (@JadeChung11). She posts some of the most wholesome content around. They have a very young son, and she made a costume of for him so he can dress like Josh, and he wears it while watching Josh's matches.

Um...Christopher Daniels returned to Impact on Thursday to save Christian Cage and Josh Alexander from a beatdown.

Now even with the craziness of 2021 rasslin and even after Kaz returned there, I honestly never expected Christopher Daniels to make amends with Impact given how rightfully furious and bitter he was about a lot of his time with the company. I know different regimes and all but wow.

If they don't do Bad Influence Vs The Good Brothers for Bound for Glory 2021 then they're fools and clowns. YBs Worst Enemies Vs their Impact Wrestling Proxies is a match simple enough even for TNA to book.

I genuinely forgot or outright didn't know Daniels lost his first name when he left Impact Wrestling. I always assumed that something that happened when AEW started. "'ope! On national TV now! Got to abbreviate my name!" I feel like I remember him being Christopher Daniels when he won the ROH World Title but maybe it's a Mandela Effect thing or my brain just being used to him being Christopher.
