So hopefully they do Daniels/Kaz vs Good Brothers at BFG, but I almost wonder if they are going to throw Daniels in the world title match, making it a three way? I'd prefer the first choice, but the way they set things up at the end of Impact last week, I thought that possibly a triple threat main was possible. FWIW, Id much prefer a single with Alexander and Christian. Josh is on a fucking roll right now and I think he almost has to get the title at this stage. I witnessed my first broadway 60 minute draw match ever live just earlier this month at AAW Destination Chicago with him and Fred Yeti that was fucking tremendous.

I will be at BFG this year in Vegas so hoping this card really get stacked. Hard to see whats on the horizon, hopefully the inclusion of more outside talent in "forbidden door" type of matches one wouldnt expect even from the TV direction currently.

I haven't watched Impact in months but I read someone say they were building to Ace Austin/Daniels at BFG.

I'm hoping for Good Brothers Vs GoD at some point but that seems like something NJPW might insist on saving for one of their dome shows.

Yeah, Alexander is the perfect successor to Christian and beating him clean at BFG will make him a made man. Bad Influence vs GB is a fine marquee match but I think they're building towards something else.

Also very intrigued on who they crown X division champ. Alex Zayn has been all over the place since leaving WWE so he might be the favorite.

Good on Curt Hawkins for getting a lot of his students work in Impact.

I missed what the plans are for the X title leading to BFG, I saw something about three way qualifiers, but are they going to do an Ultimate X or something to crown a new champ?

Since Kaz and Sabin actually were involved in the first Ultimate X, it would be a nice touch to have them included in such a match, if that is the idea. Likely isnt, but oh well!

I'd imagine we might get Bey/Phantasmo vs FinJuice also at BFG?

Insert MiSu in the title match just because and play it off as the first time NJPW, AEW, and Impact all faced off at once. Let my dreams come true.

Bad Influence has to happen. Anderson gotta take an appletini to the face.

MiSu is wrestling Nick Gage at the GCW show in Los Angeles on the same day as Bound For Glory. I'm not sure what time of day the GCW show is though and BFG is in Vegas, which is a VERY easy flight from LA.

Fake edit---Bound for Glory and the GCW L.A. show are running p. much concurrently (BFG is at 10 PM EST/7 PM PST and GCW is at 11 PM EST/8 PM PST). Sorry @Valeyard

Also is this the latest a semi-major North American wrestling promotion has ran in the evening for a PPV? I know most boxing title fights start around 11 PM/midnight but it seems very unusual for wrestling. Of course, pre-pandemic, ROH started a lot if not most of their PPVs at 9 PM EST for no real god damn reason.

It is a Saturday night PPV, at least so (office) workingmen have a day to recover from a late night of third tier rasslin action. I would call the Hague if someone tried to start a wrestling show at 10 PM EST on a Sunday.

It's either gonna be ultraviolence or someone's flight is later than they thought. C'mon Switchblade.

10 PM EST does sound unnecessarily late for a wrestling PPV start time.

They moved it to 10pm because AEW has a Saturday night show then. There's an NHL game on Wednesday so AEW is moved to the 23 at 8pm. Impact didn't want to compete with them, especially since they are working together, so instead of moving days, they moved from 8pm to 10pm. Christian won't be at Dynamite that night then.

Fightful is reporting that Bray Wyatt isn't close to a deal with Impact Wrestling.

Well, hey, on the brightside, whoda thunk Impact Wrestling would have been somewhere in the running to get an ex WWE World Champ to sign with them 2-3 years ago?

I'm way more excited at the idea of Braun in Impact Wrestling than Bray anyway. I'm not as jacked at thought of Bray being in Impact as some Impact fans. It just seems like they'd let him indulge in his worst creative tendencies.

Throw money at him. He's the biggest name left and could only help business for a while, be he swampy or husky or some twat in a Sweet Tooth mask. I think he'd have some good matches with a few guys.

Interesting. Thought for sure they'd end up in AEW as they're an established tag act which would be useful for their women's division and the connection with Shawn Spears but Impact is probably willing to pay them more. Plus they're super close with Tenille.

That, and they'd get lost in the shuffle in AEW. Plus, the shared talent deal between the two companies is a plus for them, so they'll be able to get on Dynamite or Rampage at some point to plant seeds for a future run.

Please tell me that music will be theirs.

This is another gain for Impact's division/blow for AEW's women's division. I feel like Masha did a lot of Dark/Elevation stuff too. Masha has potential to be great and she's only 23. She should probably get a different last name cause Slamovich just seems corny as heck. Unless her shoot last name is Slamovich in which case, I'll feel kind of dumb!

I interpret every signing to either Impact or AEW as good for all involved in hopes the women's division benefits from the alliance. That's the biggest level of crossover in my mind and it's hotter now than it's been in decades, so everyone signing to either place with a chance of working both is great.
