Sting had won the world title two days before that show and lost it four days later back to Vader.

Around this time WCW was doing 35-40 minute main events with Austin/Pillman v Steamboat/Douglas on the house shows. Most of those shows had triple digits in attendance.

Did not know Hayes was still wrestling at that time. He was putting people over on the road. Don't remember him wrestling on TV at this point. (He was feuding with Orndorff over the TV title I guess which I have no recollection of)

Scotty/Raven would be in the WWF a few months later in May. Nash jumped a month later.

And this tour helped Bulldog quit later in the year when his promised big European pay days didn't come to pass

Maybe if he brought out his suitcase of rubbers and toothbrushes and gifted the fans, it would have worked well.

Prior to the Renegade debut in '95, were they actually negotiating with Warrior or was it a bait and switch and Rick Wilson was always the plan?

New Center Stage Chronicles came out over the weekend.
- Herd (the boss) wanted Eaton in the Horsemen, Lane as a no push babyface and Corny in the announce booth. Corny countered with Eaton/Lane join Woman via a deal with Corny. Woman then puts them in the Horsemen since Arn is out with a neck issue. Arn was due back in 6 months or so. Then the Express would get kicked out and feud with the Horsemen. Herd said no and Corny was livid.
- Arn came back WAY early and it helped give him a premature retirement as the injury slowly worsened. '
- Verne was offered a buyout for the ESPN TV deal and the AWA syndicates. Verne would be on screen NWA president, Greg would book towns in the midwest. Verne was ok with the buyout but wanted WCW to run the AWA as a separate brand. The AWA literally had like 3 TV tapings left before they dissolved. Interesting choice by Verne.
- Flair continued to refuse to lose to Luger, continuing the year long pissing match with Herd. Flair wanted a new deal, including the option to talk to the WWF.... so if Flair jumps in Summer is the Warrior reign saved or sunk quicker since Vince has a new toy to build with?

Warrior said he was backstage and was just about to sign when he saw the Renegade and told them to fuck off. Warrior would never lie.
