I mean I don't like Rotunda much anyway but VK Wallstreet was such death on arrival. Added nothing and was even the most boring nWo guy.

Even though WCW played it off as a fairly big signing with a vignette on the first Nitro, Wallstreet almost immediately became a Saturday Night or other weekend shows fodder right away.

That Duggan program somehow lasted well into 96 iirc

I think VK Wallstreet might have even technically been the first WWF guy to jump over during the MNW since I think that vignette might have aired before Luger walked out. If he wasn't the first, he was definitely a very very close 2nd.

IT WAS kind of a big signing at the time. IRS, as much as he sucked, was still like a borderline upper mid-card level guy when he left. I mean he had a GD program with the Undertaker that year, which the oldhead sitting in front of me at AEW on Wednesday brought up. I feel like IRS references are something you can't escape as a wrestling fan. Just like you can't cheat the Taxman!

Maannnnnn, the alternate reality where Vader doesn't get whopped by Paul Orndorff and sent to WWF with tail between his legs, is probably not that much less sad than how his WWF run turned out BUT...think of all of the hoss fights a babyface Vader could've had with all of the large lads WCW had in '96-'97.

Vader Vs Tenta, Vader Vs The Giant, Vader Vs Meng...VADER VS ROAD BLOCK!

(Vader Vs 911/Tombstone, @Laz !)

Vader/Tenta interaction in Wargames was all I wanted. Even just a sprint on Saturday Night where they go full hoss puro on each other for five minutes. Anything. I don't care if it ends with Hogan beating both at the same time with a cardboard tube.

According to the WON of the time, Fred "Toot Toot" Ottman turned down the WWF's offer in May of 1989 because Zeus was already in the Fed as a "monster heel". He then went to WCW/NWA to seek employment.

@King Kamala Holidays I need a article length post fantasy booking Big Steel Man taking over WCW.
- Makah Singh (Norman the Lunatic) was about to come in. Do I smell clumsy fat guy tag team comedy?
- PN News rap battles

Kevin Sullivan & Big Bubba (w/ Jimmy Hart) defeated Jack Boot & Chavo Guerrero Jr. when Bubba pinned Guerrero

The Main Event - 11/9/96: WCW TV Champion Lord Steven Regal defeated the Cheetah Kid

The Main Event - 11/9/96: Chris Jericho defeated Bobby Eaton
--
What drew anyone to see this?
Poor Chavo can't win a dark match?
SMW stars as cannon fodder.
Poor Chavo eats the pin with his partner Buddy Lee Parker (Boot) right there?
Tenta as such an after thought after the Giant and Bubba feuds that he's jobbing to ol' Double J.
Regal/Eaton and Benoit/Jericho were both probably fun.
Cheetah Kid may or may not have been Prince Ieukea.

Was Cheetah Kid a masked Ted Petty doing double duty? I know that was his pre WCW gimmick.
Hmm. That is definitely NOT Ted Petty. In this rare instance, I think @BruiserBrody is right and it is Prince Iaukea under a mask.

Fake edit- Cagematch confirms this! GDY LUTZKE!
