Didn’t mean to dismiss them as untrue. Just the way I remember it being brought up in the book was done a jarringly offhand way from what I remember. He was railing on him for being a drugged out filthy slob for a few paragraphs then he was like “and one day I found a bunch of German kids porn on his coffee table. Really sick stuff.” Then moved onto another topic.
