My girlfriend was out with DA GUHRLS so I was at home drinking heavily. I wouldn't have made much sense. No need to hear my profanity and hyper-competitiveness, especially while drunk.

Got the game in, and stole a win 20-17, though I couldn't prevent the big play.

I'm still wondering what happened to Springs on the 41-yard heave to Steve Smith, and why you kicked a field goal on third down late in the second half.

Got the game in, and stole a win 20-17, though I couldn't prevent the big play.

I'm still wondering what happened to Springs on the 41-yard heave to Steve Smith, and why you kicked a field goal on third down late in the second half.

Was it third down? I don't remember.

The thing with Springs was that I saw a defender was bearing down on Delhomme, so I tried to quickly press B to switch to him and flicked the right stick for the tackle, but I guess I was too late and Springs was the one who tried to tackle nothing. Good thing Merriweather was there to back up the play and save the TD.

I hated that you basically stole my strategy for the game with the constant screens. It didn't help that Joe Jurevicius absolutely sucks and gave up on that INT that was a big turning point in the game. That was a dumb signing.

I ran like, four screens the whole game. 2 WR screens to Smith (one for the TD, one for next to nothing as my first play of that end-of-second-half drive) and 2 to the halfback because the first one was a loss of 7 or 8 thanks to your DE happening to player control his way over there.

Welp, Matt Schaub has now thrown for over 4000 yards on the season (4005) and has 43 TDs. Mario Williams is now the new All-Time Single Season Sack Record Holder with 25.
Andre Johnson also leads the NFL in both receiving yards and TDs. (1277 / 16)

It's an important game too, since we're both 11-2 and tied for the NFC lead.

I have to go to a wake tomorrow...but I am free after 7 EST all night. On Friday I work from 4pm to 1AM EST but am free after that. On Saturday I'm off and can play anytime until roughly 10 EST. And then on Sunday I have all day.

Just post here when you want to play...because I check this site when I'm not at work like it's my crack addiction.

And the Bills get steamrolled by the McCown Express, 21-10. Not even that close though, as my one touchdown was with a minute left.

Hilarious play in the 3rd(or was it the 4th) as Edwards throws a 6 inch pick 6.

HUGE win for me as it gives me the divisional tiebreaker should we finish with the same record. I do have one user game left with Broward while Fazzle is playing the CPU the rest of the way. We both should make the playoffs, but this could be the difference between a WC game at home or on the road.

It's funny that I now have a 6-1 record on the road compared to a 4-3 record at home. Maybe I should throw that Texans game.....

our game can essentially decide NFC home field advantage & i have to wait for an inactive to show up long enough to either play me or quit so i can play the CPU.

Having the top team in each NFC division be a user has really muddled the home field race, for sure. I could conceivably end up 13-3 and with only one playoff home game.

The Houston Texans would gladly allow New England to rest their starters and key position players in order to be rested for the playoffs.

Just a heads up to everyone- the main reason I'm so late in advancing is because I have just been very busy this past week, was out of town most of the weekend, and I haven't been available when bps has been free to play. However, we will be playing our game tomorrow or the next day.

Also, I PM'ed Loaded Glove yesterday asking if he'd still be participating. If he doesn't answer by tomorrow, I'll kick him so you can play your game, oldskool. I can always re-invite him later if need be.

Why not just kick him now and get it over with? I can understand things being tied up due to you being busy and all but from all that I've seen, LG hasn't been on at all and is not only holding up this league but the other Madden league.

All I really care about is that this doesn't die off like most TSM related leagues / tournaments before we can atleast crown a Super Bowl champion..(and honestly, I'd hope this thing continues on up until Madden 11...)

Got by 42-20. Found a kickoff return issue too, if you run up to about the 25 & spin there's a good chance you're one broken tackle & some speed away from a TD.

Williams gets 120 & 3 TDs to bring him to 20 on the season, Smith gets another 100 yards & a TD, and AP gets injured early & misses the entire first half so his stats stay low. Between me & bps' Willie Parker for the rushing title now.

Carolina's 12-2 on the season & well on our way to home field advantage. Another win or Dallas loss & they're out of the running, and a win with a Minnesota loss (or two Carolina wins) eliminates them.
