Just finished a very fun back and forth battle with bps. I won 17-10, extending my winning streak to 7 games and keeping my playoff hopes alive.

Thus, the week has finally advanced. Leo, I'm busy tonight, Friday, and Saturday nights, but I could play during the day tomorrow or Saturday.

Very fun and very up and down game. I knew we were in for something weird when very early a Packer defender tipped the ball to my receiver. The ending was the best part. Matt's running down the clock for the game winning FG and he fumbles. So now I have no timeouts and the whole field to go. I threw an pick 6 almost immediately.

Fun times.

The jinx is in, I lose to NYG 31-28. For some reason their K/P depth chart is flipped so Feagles does the kicking & Tynes the punting, but they only had to punt once so it didn't matter.

Bad Jake showed up & threw 2 INTs, I was down 21-0 before charging back to tie, they take a kickoff for a touchdown, they drive down the field & kick the game-winning field goal while I sputter & end up running the clock out on myself.

In other news, they Helmsleyed my #3 HB who was playing as my #4 WR and my KR/PR, so while they reattach his quad I snagged Jacoby Jones off the free agent wire to fill in. Broward must be thrilled.

The Bills go into Atlanta and toughen out the sweltering 454 degree heat in the dome to come away with a 29-22 win over the Falcons. Here's hoping Broward can get the job done against PK next week.

Texans go down to Miami to play in the muddy Land Shark stadium and come out with a 38-31 win.

Horrible game for Schaub and co. as Kubiak's gun-shy offense forces Slaton to carry the ball more and grind it out. Down for a majority of the game, the D stepped up once more to bring the team back. Super Mario got another three or four sacks to push his season total to 28.

The Cowboys came into FedEx Field a loss away from spending their January on the road with a tough divisional game and a quarterback not noted for thriving under pressure working against them. It didn't look any better when a secondary that had held the New Orleans Saints to 3 points the week before immediately gave up a 74-yard touchdown to Santana Moss to make it 7-0 Redskins early. Two big running plays later, and Dallas tied it at 7, but then the Redskins were up and driving again, driving to the 5 before Todd Collins threw a pick six to Mike Mickens.

Six DeMarcus Ware sacks, 2 Tony Romo incompletions, and 63 combined points later... Dallas came out of the Other Beltway with a 70-14 win and with home field still alive.

I handled the Jaguars 27-9 to keep pace with Fazzle, clinching a playoff spot in the process. Of course, keeping with the theme of my season so far, I lose ANOTHER key player as Fred Taylor tore his quad and is out 6 weeks (which is basically the rest of the season and playoffs, IIRC) after torching the Jaguar defense most of the game. I'm surprised he lasted this long. Also, free agent pickup Ike Hilliard had a big day catching 3 for 93 yards.

I beat Detroit 21-0. I turned the ball over 3-4 times because I kept messing around.

I am 10-5 and look to hopefully finish strong at 11-5 going into the playoffs.

Leo beat me 31-24 to end my 7 game winning streak. I struck first to lead 7-0, but after that, it was all Leo as he was often up by 2 scores and my offense could do nothing for half the game. It was definitely good to talk to you again, Leo!

I advanced the week. I've decided that we will not have concrete deadlines for the remainder of this season, but please try to play your games in a timely manner. My schedule has been what's held us up lately, but this week's game is against the CPU, so that won't be an issue.

I beat St. Louis 42-14 to finish the regular season at 11-5.

Shaun Hill was the MVP of the game by completing 27 of 37 passes for 314 yards and 3 TDs. Hill completed passes to 10 different receivers.

Revenge was a dish best served rainy, as the Cowboys drubbed the Eagles 45-14 to avenge last year's brutal loss in Philadelphia and roll into the playoffs 13-3. Felix Jones carried the ball 10 times for 158 yards and Marion Barber tacked on 112 of his own, and Dallas forced 6 turnovers. Philadelphia's lone points came on a pair of Asante Samuel pick 6s.

The ball is in Fazzle's court as Broward's Texans shut me out 17-0, revealing some fatal flaws on my team. Maroney fumbled on my first drive of the game in Texans territory, so there went that gameplan. I couldn't stop him on 3rd down because Owen Daniels kept owning the LB that was covering him. McCown was fairly terrible and couldn't throw it deep when I had to get points fast. So basically, if I get behind by two scores or more, I'm screwed unless I get turnovers, which came too little too late in this game.

It was a great game Pete. When you had the big play up the middle I was going "fuck...fuck..DeMeco can't just sit there all game.." but the fumble was huge for me.

At half, I figured whomever scored a TD was going to win and luckily, it was me. OD had a big game as Schaub had a "meh" game, but one that pretty much locked up the passing title and passing td title as well.

I was pissed I couldn't run and that's why I was going for those passes late in the game..not being able to get past the LOS kinda forced me into a more pass heavy offense than I had wanted but we came through it all with a win.

A "WTF" play of the day: Selvin Young completes a pass to Dan Orlovsky for 25yds.

I did like the chess game we played the entire game, shifting defenses and calling hot routes and whatnot. Though I basically gave up late in the game and decided to blitz every other play.

Yeah, there was a run play I audibled into a play action due to seeing the blitz coming. I was doing a few base defense's and simply adjusting the LB corps or DBs to try and bait you into a throw or two.

We'll probably see each other again in the playoffs with the way things'll shake out.

With the Patriots' loss to the Texans, all the Bills needed to do was win at home against the 7-8 Colts to clinch the AFC East.


...So of course it was 31-0 Colts early 3rd quarter. The Bills actually did attempt a comeback, and had it within 44-29 in the 4th, until Trent Edwards threw a pick 6 to end it. 51-29 Colts.

And thanks to the Texans mounting some offense, they steal the reception yardage title away from Good Steve Smith and hand it to Andre Johnson.

I think D-Williams took the rushing yardage & TD titles though. Turnovers a go-go as Carolina cruises into the playoffs at 13-3 after blowing home field.

So how do the playoffs shake out? Just looking at it and based on the results in the thread, I think it's:

4 TSMers per conference, meaning nobody will have a super-easy human-free road to the Super Bowl, and we'll in fact get part 3 from two different interforum games in the first round, assuming things shake out as I've predicted. Whoever faces Broward in the Super Bowl, and Broward is going to the Super Bowl, is in deep shit.

If we're all 13-3, Dallas beat me and I beat Minnesota, but Dallas didn't play Minnesota for the full-on head-to-head comparison.

I want to say the EA tiebreaker isn't the NFL tiebreaker, but we'll just have to wait & see.
