Lol of course ESPN just put up a stat that the Brewers haven't won a postseason game after trailing after 7 since 1982

Yeah of course

Oh well no matter what happens tomorrow this was a fun season. I'm numb to all this anyway. This team is flawed anyway. Oh well

Like I said not even mad. Fun season. Team needs help. Hopefully they spend some money and build off this year. If they go back to 75 wins this was all for naught.

My gut says we are getting a Dodgers/Yankees World Series but that seems too easy

First go ahead homerun when trailing in the 9th inning in an elimination game in MLB history

Congrats to Mets fans for that amazing comeback.

As for a franchise that can’t bother to make the playoff field, Reds are hiring Terry Francona.

The LDS has four good rivalry series. Detroit/Cleveland is slept on but that’s a good historic rivalry. This is gonna be fun.

Yankees/Royals had a hell of a rivalry in the late 70s/early 80s. This is their first meeting since 1980.

I extend it out to '83 since that was the Pine Tar game. The Yankees/Kansas City rivalry really extends to the late '50s when the KC A's would constantly send good players to the Yankees, including Roger Maris. When Charlie Finley bought the team he tried to put bleachers in right field to mimic Yankee Stadium's short porch.

Top Three Home Runs in Mets' history by cWPA.
1. Ray Knight, game 7 1986 World Series.
2. Lenny Dykstra, game 3 1986 NLCS.
3. Pete Alonso. 2024 NLWC

I understand in theory why the Yankees and Dodgers get pretty much every prime time game but getting one prime time game in a five game series shouldn't be too much to ask.

Also any reason why the AL teams are getting one more day off than the .NL teams? The AL gets Sunday and Tuesday off!?!?

This home plate ump in Royals/Yankees is abysmal. MLB should be embarrassed

It's MLB trying to maximize days with games on TV. Stagger the schedule a little bit and hope to avoid days with no games at all.

I have no idea who wins Padres vs Dodgers. Padres looked scary tonight. Glad to see Darvish go 7.

The Mets left 8 men on base in the first 3 innings of the game without scoring a run. That seems impossible and is in fact a post season record

Bobby Witt Jr. is awesome, but one man can't carry a team far in the playoffs.

The Padres did not score a single run in the last 25 innings of the division series. Almost 3 full games.

thrilling ending to Guardians/Yankees today. Maybe the game of the postseason so far

Dodgers are thoroughly dominating the Mets.

Most likely getting a NY/LA World Series got the first time in 43 years
