Took a quick look and the 1932 World Series had twelve hall of Famers. Granted some of those are questionable.I missed this game, but I will have to check out the series. This feels like an all timer, the amount of hall of famers that will be playing in this one might be one of the highest if not the most for any World Series ever.

The Chicago White Sox had a gap of 88 years between their 1917 and 2005 World Series victories.Thinking about the Yankees not winning a game (yet). A surprising number of franchises have gone a long time without winning World Series games. The Cubs went 71 years. The Phillies had a 65 year drought. It took the Rangers almost fifty years. The Mariners are close to 50 years. The Pirates have gone 45 years now. The Angels, Astros, White Sox, Orioles, Indians/Guardians, Brewers, Athletics, Padres, Expos/Nationals all had 40 year gaps.
