2/13/77 – Green Bay, WI @ the Brown County Veteran’s Memorial Arena
Andre the Giant & the Crusher defeated AWA Tag Team Champions Blackjack Lanza & Bobby Duncum via DQ

Here's the inverse of this thread.... Matches you think should have existed a lot more... This is the only time Crusher teamed with Andre ever. You would think the top babyface would have teamed with the monster babyface who came in to conquer the big bad heels more than once over the years. Andre worked plenty of AWA dates.

I know the company and dates don't work but man I'd love Gene following Andre and Crusher bar hopping as a vignette.

That got me thinking. You know, prime Horowitz vs Roderick Strong just became a weird dream match I didn't know existed for me.

Inexplicably yes. I could've sworn he was one of the first ECW dudes to die but not only is he still alive, he apparently had his last match in 2020.

Not only did WCW make 911 a jobber but they made him the type of jobber that kept changing his name.

911’s son is wrestling on the indies as Big Vin. Believe he’s out with an ACL or similar injury at the moment.

So I knew Hogan vs. Santana also happened at the Garden in 1980 but cagematch says Hogan vs. Santana happened at the Garden TWICE

Hall working stiffer version of a 1993 Razor squash with Tanahashi is something I didn't know I wanted, let alone one of the first times in a loooong time I've been so happy with a finish.

Match is fire though. I've come to love me some BattleArts.
