Striker's post-WWE career is kind of weird. He commentates for any promotion that has television exposure but wrestles on every other indie. I actually met him at Dreamer's House of Hardcore show last year. Cool dude.

Yeah. He's one of the guys I feel bad making snarky comments about because he seems like a legit nice dude but I don't want to see him wrestle or hear him commentate. He really should've kept on managing guys like Big Daddy V except male managers aren't really a thing outside Heyman.

I vaguely remember when MVP would find random scrubs to face early in his WWE run and he was getting "champions" from across the globe, think leading into his US Title win over Benoit. Well, just found out that one of those guys was actually Johnny Gargano

From 07/19/1992 at Warwick, RI ... Randy Savage takes on Shawn Michaels at a House Show. Never knew they wrestled each other again aside from their notable Coliseum Video match in April of that year.

Wow - my first wrestling show was in that venue about a year later but the main was Savage versus Mr. Hughes

Typhoon teams with Akio Sato to take on El Gigante and Fred Kitao, no doubt seeking revenge for the shoot attack on his former tag partner. This was also El Gigante's last match.

Ted DiBiase vs Chris Chavis at a house show in late 91, pre-Tatanka gimmick and for some reason using the Young Stallions' theme song.

EDIT: Also from the same show, The Undertaker's first ever televised WWF title defense (albeit on the French version of Superstars), against the British Bulldog

re: Nash/Show, was their stuff in WCW from 96-98 any good? I never really watched when they were feuding.

Their match from Souled Out 98 is worth checking out. The finish is pretty famous and nasty and Nash is busting ass. He even does a plancha lol.

Heenan couldn't sound more drunk and spiteful.

Also even by '00 WCW standards, Muta jobbing to Tank Abbott in under three minutes following interference from "The Cat" Ernest Miller is DUMB.

Looking up WWE title defences for that other thread, I found out about this:

https://www.dailymotion.com/video/x6tqf6

Bret vs Buddy Landell from an early 96 Raw. No wonder he couldn't be taken seriously, this is like brock going toe to toe with Bo Dallas.

WWE booking hasn't regressed in every way, there's still more bottom to explore.

It's even worse. They bumped it from Raw and replaced it with a match from the previous PPV. This ended up airing on WWF Mania for six people (including myself) to see.
