NBA 2025-26

Bulls making some solid competent moves, wtf. Coby has to be getting traded with Ivey and maybe Conley (unless he gets waived or traded) coming in.

Harden to Cleveland for Garland and a 2nd is now official

MEGA TRADE

The Dallas Mavericks are trading 10-time NBA All-Star Anthony Davis, Jaden Hardy, D'Angelo Russell and Dante Exum to the Washington Wizards for Khris Middleton, AJ Johnson, Malaki Branham, Marvin Bagley III, 2 first-round picks and 3 second-rounders, sources tell ESPN.

Well we had to get something for Kuminga and when he's healthy KP should fit in great but It doesn't exactly feel like a move that will do much. Won't do anything to help the Hawks either though.

The Hornets are getting one of their picks back from the Coby White deal because the Bulls didn’t disclose a calf injury that White had. Apparently the Hornets didn’t think it was serious enough to completely void the deal.

Also, because Conley was traded a second time after being traded from the Wolves, he was allowed to resign with them after the Hornets cut him. Had the Bulls just cut him I think he would have had to wait until next season.

The Bulls rebuild is ruined with one less second round draft pick. The Bulls front office needs fired.

Pistons are the first team to beat the Knicks by at least 30 in consecutive games since the 86-87 Bucks.

the NBA Board of Governors will be meeting this summer to vote on the long expected league expansion, with Seattle & Vegas remaining the heavy favorites to receive franchises.

Stern may have suspended him the rest of the year. He suspended Carmelo 15 games for punching a dude while he was actually in the game and not on the bench. And he had no history of suspensions (I think).

Also Walt Frazier took a shot at the Pacers last night for tanking because they’re sitting Zubac and then the Pacers ended up winning the game lol

Posting this because they called out a trend I've always hated. The average fan will clown a dude for getting dunked on, but if you're a great shot blocker it's gonna happen. John Thompson also said this long ago, don't be a shot blocker if you're afraid to get dunked on. Even someone like Shawn Bradley who is known for being on the wrong end; the elites are probably gonna block about 15 guys that meet them at the rim for every poster they get put on.

I think the NBA is really broken right now. Between tanking, the gambling shit, the terrible nba cup, and some general stuff like lack of defense and guys seeming to get hurt way too much. It feels like the league needs to undergo some serious reform.

Unfortunately, unless the teams or the players start taking a monetary hit from it in some fashion they won't give a shit.

Another problem and I mentioned this last season as well is the way the players treat the referees. LeBron grabs a ref and gets no discipline, a few days later Lu Dort bumps a ref and gets nothing, Sengun calls a female ref a bitch and nothing, and even gets named an All-Star replacement days after it happens! Not even to mention the general existence of Draymond Green. I get the officiating can be flawed but shit is getting ridiculous

Haven't watched a single basketball game this season after not watching much last season. I honestly don't miss it one bit. They really need to get rid of Silver or do something rash soon to improve the game or more and more people will lose interest imo. Lots of people I know aren't watching much lately either, compared to the 2010's or the early part of this decade for a combo of those reasons and the lack of a major crossover entertaining star like Shaq or Barkley or Michael or Kobe or or whoever.

Honestly, the Play-In tourney is another huge reason I stopped caring about the sport. It's too watered down and easy to get in the playoffs these days. Mediocre teams like the Bulls love the Play In tourney because instead of saying they missed they playoffs four years in a row, they can say they snuck in the Play-In tourney each year and pat each other on the back. Same with The Atlanta Hawks and Miami in the east at least. Now, the Bulls are finally tanking way too late, but the play in tourney in the east had all three of those teams in it for like 3 or 4 years in the row. It's the worst.

I will probably be back for the playoffs but when every other game is a blowout or one where half the stars are sitting, it makes it really tough to watch the regular season.

And the week before the all-star break is the worst for sits! Just look at all the inactives on your respective fantasy rosters if you don't believe me.
