Teams interested in Zach Lavine include Lakers, 76ers, Heat, Spurs, and Kings. Last two make alot of sense, and there are role players and guys on both teams i'd be cool with getting.

How good is Zach Lavine really? Like I'm struggling to see how he would really move the needle for a contending team considering what they would have to give up for him. I don't think it's like getting an Anthony Davis, or even a Jrue Holiday who provides elite defense. He would definitely need to be the Chris Bosh of your Big 3. Derozan does too at this point tbh.

Like maybe a top 25 player at his best. But probably more like top 40. He's pretty much like maybe a Jerry Stackhouse type. I'm not expecting much, but I have seen people proposing packaging Caruso with him to get a better package.

Pop jumped the shark as he yelled at the crowd for booing Kawhi.

Knicks trailed by 21 late in the 3rd but come back and beat the Heat by 2. Pretty great win.

https://www.nbcsportschicago.com/nb...t-burden-of-change-to-fall-on-players/521200/

From management’s roster vision to coaches’ schemes and messaging to players’ execution, there’s plenty of blame to divvy up among the Chicago Bulls.

The odd part is: Typically in such circumstances, a coach may be on the hot seat or perhaps management could be in trouble. But with Jerry and Michael Reinsdorf’s history of employing Jerry Krause for 18 years and John Paxson for 17 until Paxson initiated his exit plan, not to mention Artūras Karnišovas’ contract extension, Karnišovas has been given the green light to try to fix the current mess.

Same goes for Billy Donovan, who is liked and respected by both ownership and management and also has multiple years left on his extension. While it has happened in recent situations like Fred Hoiberg and Jim Boylen, the Reinsdorfs typically don’t like paying coaches not to work for them. So Donovan is safe, although it wouldn’t be a surprise to see his staff tweaked moving forward.

That leaves the burden of change falling on the players. And they know it.

Absolutely hopeless. I don't know why I follow this team tbh. Maybe it's because I just enjoy the pace and excitement of watching NBA basketball. But, the quality of Bulls basketball this year is worse than any other year since I started watching regularly again in the 2010-11 season. Even the Boylen year and a half had Zach playing excellently. All of the "big" three have stunk to start the season. The highlight of the season is a bench guy who can't play more than 30 mpg because of how hard he goes. Not downplaying how good Caruso is and he really imo is a top ten defensive player in the league at the very least, but he shouldn't be the best thing about a NBA team.

I do have to vent about Vooch and the front office. I was completely against resigning him this season. And then they gave him a fully guaranteed contract with no option in the third year. Arturas Karnisovas and Mark Eversley are worse than GarPax to me at this point. John Paxson was here way too long, but he had a really nice streak from around 2003-2011 where he picked a lot of good NBA talent in the draft. AKME signing Caruso and Lonzo were great moves imo and I even liked the DeRozan signing at the time, but since then they really haven't done anything to improve the team. Signing Goran Dragic and Andre Drummond in the 2022 offseason didn't do it, Patrick Beverley even with the bullshit vaunted 14-9 record AK will bring up in his press conference didn't do it, Tristan Thompson as the midseason signing certainly didn't do it, and Torrey Craig/Jevon Carter didn't do it. 2 of their 4 picks look like busts. Yeah Pat Williams finally had a good offensive game last night, but I doubt he's any good the next game. Dalen Terry will be out of the league in a year and a half. Ayo is a solid second round pick and decent bench guy, and it's too early to tell with Julian Phillips.

Nikola Vucevic is just bad this year. A player like Ivica Zubac doesn't get the hype of Vucevic, but he's so much better. So is Jusuf Nurkic who overwhelmed Vucevic physically and out hustled him earlier this year. Vuc gets his numbers, but honestly he's not that great of a rebounder. Caruso might be a better pure rebounder than him and he's so much shorter. Vuc is so slow, never gets to the line, has zero rim protection, and his shot is inconsistent. He doesn't really do anything besides get some empty rebounds. When it comes time to box out and battle for boards, he's not doing it. He also complains more than any player that has been on the team since Dwayne Wade.

So, tldr but to sum up my rant and how the state of the Bulls is at the moment, I present this gif

Celtics should whoop them. Bulls usually have slow starts so, I wouldn't be surprised if it's 38 to 14 or some shit at the end of the first.

Although, last night was bizarre. They started out 30-9 against the Nets, but then ended up going down by 9 by the second quarter. They were outscored 44 to 19 in that second quarter.

In theory, it should be easy for the Celtics to beat the brakes off of the Bulls but Porzingis and possibly Jrue Holiday will be out and Celtics have occasionally weirdly struggled against crummy teams. They lost to the Hornets and just barely beat the Grizzlies C team.

If I'm the Celtics though, I barely give a spit about the in season tournament. If I'm Joe Mazzulla, I wouldn't overextend myself to beat the brakes off of the poor Bulls. It seems more designed for the Pacers, Kings, and Magic of the world then teams that actually win NBA Championships. Sorry @Incandenza .

If the Bulls won the In Season Tourney, Jerry would try to replace one of the championship banners from the 90's with it. And Arturas Karnisovas would mention the achievement in every press conference for a half decade.

Celtics winning by 19 and Jrue is playing. 23 is still on the table brother.
