I don't mind goofy cartoon shit in a smaller setting. I used to love Chuck Taylor's hand grenade atomic drop and the slow motion segments, thought Player Uno getting the "pause" button hit on his trunks and stopping in place was good fun, and could dig the Osirian Portal's dance hypnosis.

It's just when that shit is put out on prime time television that I roll my eyes.

So, this show as awesome. It was one of 3 shows I had going at the same time, along with ICW No Holds Barred, and Limitless Wrestling: Vacation Land Cup. Unfortunately, the Limitless livestream died right at intermission, so I didn't get to see the whole second half.

Eddie teaming with Ultramantis Black and Frightmare was both the greatest thing, and incredibly weird to see, as a long time Chikara fan. The main event was really fun, too. I'm a big fan of all 3 women that were in the women's 3 way match, so that was great for me. I'm looking forward to the next show. I'd like to get to one of them since they have a very deep link to Chikara.

You never know when it will translate though. 3-4 years ago, I thought Orange Cassidy was going to be an indie lifer. Now 99 times out of 100, these comedy gimmicks do translate to that but ya never know!

I’m looking forward to watching the replay. I was in the balcony and kind of detached from the crowd. The venue was amazing. Outside the windows you could see a music pavilion where live music was playing for the public. They’ve built this all in front of an old Bethlehem Steel plant. There’s a theater downstairs and they have just done an amazing job building something useable out of something that 15 years ago was completely dead space.

LVAC isn‘t quite a wrestling company, they just run shows every other month. But they very much capture a Chikara vibe with a wrestling crowd that is as friendly as any I’ve seen.

So had a fuckin fun time at the MOA Saturday Night Nitro show. While there wasn't any huge holy shit this was awesome matches, it was a really entertaining show overall. Ended up posting some videos over on my alternate YouTube from it, as my main one got suspended AGAIN due to content from All Out (FITE TV wont stop the copyright claims on content). Hopefully they make this a yearly tradition at MOA, but hard to say what the overhead was, etc. They also did a fanfest the night before that had alot of stars, and Cardona/Green came in just for the fanfest, but weren't at the actual ppv on Saturday.

Main highlights:
Jerry Lynn showed up to get into it with Darin Corbin, not sure if they are setting up an actual match with them or what, it's probably more of a longer storyline with Arik Cannon (owner of this indy company that put this show on) who is feuding with Corbin.

Colt Cabana got a HUGE pop that lasted well into a few minutes after the ring introductions vs Dak Draper....this has to be a response to the Punk stuff on some level.

Victoria/Lisa Marie Varon was there as a special surprise ref in the Billie Starkz vs Free Range Kara (sloppy worker doing a farmer's daughter kinda gimmick) and turned on Starkz after the match.

Effy and Orange Cassidy had a fun total comedy match, Cassidy used every button and whistle in this one.

Main was RVD vs Dante Martin, which went maybe a minute? Van Dam was moving a bit slow and sluggish so not sure what the deal was, but Sonny Kiss and Ariya Daivari showed up to challenge both to a tag instead, so we got a total bait and switch in the main which I wasn't really feeling since we barely got any exchanges with Dante and RVD. Whatever the case, the faces obv got the win in a very pedestrian main.

I bought this show on Fite, and I loved it. It was an absolute blast, just 2 1/2 hours of fun wrestling. Corbin and Cannon have been feuding for pretty much the entire run of their careers, so close to 20 years. They're really good friends away from wrestling, and it's added some great chemistry in the ring. Lynn can't wrestle anymore due to injuries, but he has a long history with Corbin and Cannon since they're all from the same area.

Kara's boyfriend runs Spot Monkey Media which does the posters for most of F1rst's shows, and he's made gear for much of the talent. Kara's been training under Cannon for a few years. She's not very good, and I'm not a fan of her gimmick. Billie is lightyears ahead of her.

EFFY vs Orange was great. I love AEW Orange Cassidy, but indie Orange is a different beast, and I'm glad we got that one here.

I thought RVD looked pretty ok, and in better shape than the last time we saw him, but he's closer to the end of his career than the start.

I loved Darin coming out later in the night in full Lex Luther from Nitro garb, the white shirt and black pants.

I wish F1rst was on IWTV or did more shows on Fite since they're usually so much fun. Wrestlepalooza, their big shows for the year, are fantastic.

Oh damn, I didnt pick up on the Luger garb, Corbin is a fun talent for sure.

On that note, I guess the one thing I only wish they had done was some sort of more dynamic WCW tribute, I kinda expected maybe a few older WCW names randomly showing up in the Rumble in the Rotunda.

Someone from F1rst Wrestling (I'm guessing it might have even been Cannon himself) emailed me yesterday as well to ask if I could take down all content from my Youtube from the two shows I went to recently. I get it if I had videos of finishes, but they seemed to want ALL content gone. I get they think clips cuts into ppv revenue or something, but I guess I kinda feel like posting short clips of a spot, entrance, etc, actually should be a promotional vehicle in a sense to push the product and their ppv(s). But it is what it is.

That's weird. I know Arik is big on sharing clips on Twitter and Facebook. I was hoping for more WCW involvement at well. Maybe something with Pillman, Jr.

@King of Summer Kamala and I have been on the Darin Corbin bandwagon for a while now. I've been able to befriend him and he's a great guy. One of those guys that's totally opposite the character he plays at shows.
