A good friend of mine is very very into Ben Folds. I don't understand the love for it.

Also, my sister LOVES Bon Jovi and other assorted hair metal, then proceeds to call it everything from "true rock music" to "classic rock on par with Cream and Jefferson Airplane."

Ben Folds Five was pretty cool. Fun power-pop for a certain group of people, better than Weezer. Then Ben got old and ran out of good ideas. I don't think liking Ben Folds qualifies for "worst taste in music," though. You can't really say that and mean it.

Yeah, even his bad stuff isn't terrible IMO. Just mediocre. He might as well just reunite the Five for a '90s nostalgia reunion or keep scoring movies.
