Russia Invades Ukraine

As long as it doesn't rely too much on America it's a very positive development to see an actual plan like this finally. There's no way you can realistically rely on the US right now to stick to any policy for more than a few weeks (at best) at a time though. The rest of the world is going to have to be the backbone here.
 
Unless this is some conventional weapon MAD doctrine where one side somehow wins, I don't know how Russia could expect to win an offensive war against the rest of Europe.
 
I think they're counting on the fall of the United States, the long game they played with the descent into online-ness, to destabilize and weaken enough things that they won't have to fight a unified enemy like they would have in an different era.
 

There's been a lot of controversy over the supposed "US" peace plan that actually was a Russian plan. Now it turns out they also told Russia exactly how to pitch it to Trump.
