That was a rough watch. Twitter was going on about the monologue being the best ever… I get I’m not the audience for whatever that was. But the entire show was a miss for me.

I only saw maybe a couple minutes of the Hot Wings sketch. Among people I know the show was either really funny or one of the worst of the year. That's about what I figured, I guess.

She's like watching a comedian that was frozen in 2004 coming back now.

Honestly that was a rough show. That coffee commercial sketch seemed like it would never end.

New Eddie Murphy interview just dropped. It’s NYT new interview podcast. Looking forward to listening to it in full.

On one hand, Eddie Murphy is justified in holding a bit of a grudge (even though he says he is cool with the people who made fun of him) since he single-handedly kept it alive and prevented it from just being the ‘70s version of Laugh-In.

On the other hand, it’s not like Eddie treated his elder comedians any kinder when he was coming up. If anything, Spade’s joke pales in comparison. He never did an impression of Eddie Murphy wanting to fuck someone in the ass. Although perhaps maybe Tim Meadows did.

If a comedian doesn’t think he should be made fun of when he is in a career downturn, you’re at risk of looking like Jerry Lewis…who Eddie also made fun of!

Amazing that Vanity Fair unleashed a first look today at the almost certainly awful Jason Reitman SNL 1975 movie and King Kamala couldn't be bothered to comment.
