Windows media player 11. Tis what i use to share media with my PS3. You set it up for sharing and can allow other computers on your network to access the files.

Netflix is coming to PS3 by the end of the year. If you are a subscriber, go here to reserve the disc you need to get access to it.

How much is it monthly? I have the blockbuster version of netflix I pay about $20 a month and I can have up to 3 movies at a time, however I am always hearing blockbuster could go under at any time.

I think it's $8.99 per month, as per PS3fanboy.com...

Well for me I try to avoid downloading, but when I do it's usually movies that I really don't care about the Audio/Video quality. I still rent from Netflix for the Blu Rays.

Blu ray content is vastly available for download. It just takes a 10min convert for it to work on the ps3, then can be streamed via Media player.

I understand that, and use that, but the audio quality is vastly downgraded even with those conversions when you have the equipment to handle it. I'm just anal when it comes to picture and sound quality on certain movies.

Does anyone have the lil bluetooth keyboard that hooks onto the PS3 controller? Just wondering if it's worth the buy (going rate seems to be $55 CAD up here).

So I'm thinking of picking up a PS3, now should I pick one up now or wait until Christmas time as there may be some special deals?

Haven't seen this posted anywhere yet, but those of us with a PS3 and Netflix are about tho collectively jizz the pants. By the end of the month Sony will release a disc that updates the software, allowing PS3/Netflix customers with online capability to watch Netflix streaming movies online, ala xbox 360.

At. Long. Last.

I got the disc on Friday. Yeah people are really going to be jizzing their pants that they can now do what the 360 has been able to do for a year, and only by using this disc EVERY TIME. That's the thing I don't get, on the 360 you just do a onetime download and you're set, the PS3 you have to use the disc every time, you can't just install off of the disc or something.

From what I have read most people seem to think the Disc is a temporary workaround because Microsoft has some limited exclusive deal with Netflix. Basically the disc is a loophole. Next year there will be a downloadable application.

So, um, what's this I hear about being able to have PSN games on 5 different PS3s?

Most PSN games can be downloaded on up to 5 PS3's. Basically people trade games with others by giving each other their login/PW so they can download games purchased on the account. So if I buy FF7 and I want 4 of my friends to have it for free they just have to log in to my account on their PS3 and go into the store and download it. Be careful though, because after it's been downloaded 5 times it won't be allowed again without a re-purchase.

So if I say, buy Burnout Paradise, I can give it to four of you by having you log in as me, but then you can steal my precious, precious account...

Alternatively if somebody already has it & has a download available, I'd throw them my cut of the downloads in order to get a hold of it. I'm thinking about upgrading the hard drive first though from 40GB...

I have a question about the new cover design for PS3 games. I have noticed some newer releases with the simple PS3 block logo at the top-left of the package. I have also noticed several newer games with the traditional PLAYSTATION 3 written down the left-side of the package. Is this a change that Sony is slowly implementing, or are only certain games getting the newer package design?

I did a blind buy on Borderlands earlier this evening. I won it on Ebay, with the Gamestop code for $46. I hope it's worth it. I've heard some good things.

I heard that they've said they won't be charging for online play, but I don't see how they'd get many subscribers otherwise. I don't see that many people paying a monthly fee for exclusive demos and Netflix streaming only.
