More videos on this.. some old ones from back in 2009 but they show a neat little gameplay walktrhough.. Combat looks different from any other MMO (aside from DC) that I've see. If I'm to understand the videos correctly, a button press is a hit. Real-time, I guess. I wonder if this will be compatible with a game controller instead of the usual mouse/keyboard setup.

Yes. One of the best Star Wars games that was ever released. Great combat system and a great storyline too. I found being the Sith a little easier, but I always prefer the light side. It's probably one of the best games released on the X-Box and one of the best RPG's in the last ten years.

According to EA there will be limited quantities of the game available at launch, both in physical and downloadable form, to keep the servers from getting over loaded. So if you want to play it right away you better pre-order.

I focused on a Smuggler to start. I think I am at 43 right now. I also started a Sith Warror, but haven't layer him much.

Which server are you on?

The Harbinger.

I went for a Smuggler > Gunslinger, Trooper > Commando, Jedi Knight > Sentinel, Consular > Shadow and Bounty Hunter > Powertech.

My Smuggler is the most handsomest Smuggler on the server.

Oh yeah, I went Gunslinger as my upgrade to the Smuggler as well. I gave him a pretty manly beard.

My friends have left it up to me to make our guild Sith side and can not come up with a decent name. Was trying to think of something Lovecraftian but am drawing a total blank.

There are some pretty good guild names out there. "Not the Droids You're Looking For". "Sith Happens". "WTB Death Sticks PST". "Ewok This Way". "Chocolate Chip Wookies".

The name I chose for my Inquisitor ended up being almost a complete anagram of the name for the inquisitors first companion.

At this point I have 7 characters over level 10, but none over level 20.

I'm kinda pissed with this game lately. Everything was running smooth for me until a few days after my last post up there. There was a new patch, which downloaded and installed, and now my game is laggy as fuck. Not sure what is going on, but I know it's not my system. I can run Skyrim on Ultra settings smooth as butter, yet this MMO is suddenly broken. Judging by the posts in their forums, I'm not the only one. I haven't played it since then, unfortunately, and I hope it gets fixed soon.

MMO's are so fickle sometimes. Most of the advice people have gotten for framerate drops is disabling shadows.

I'm excited since Australia and the Oceanic region are getting servers located here. Don't think I've ever played an MMO where my ping was under 200ms. Maintenance will still probably be during our primetime but hey, better than nothing.
